Self-contained little basic cosy bungalow cabin. This cabin offers spectacular views of Mt Ruapehu from the comfort of the sofa or bed. There's horses in the paddock next to us, as well as sheep, so you can get in touch with nature and relax. Base yourself here for your Ruapehu ski trip, do the Tongariro Crossing, one of the world's best day hikes, rent a bike and cycle the Old Coach Road, or use this cabin to rest and relax.
“Beautiful view and everything you need! There is also a pan for cooking, even if it is not inside;) I can absolutely recommend it. Just a little cold in the morning, but there is a separate electric radiator for that.”
A unique little chalet in the centre of Ohakune, my place is right in the middle, close to restaurants, the supermarket and shops on one side, and the nightlife on the other. The entire place is yours to enjoy. It includes two queen beds, two single beds, a lounge area as well as balcony. It is a great set up which gets heaps of sun during the day and stays warm at night with the fire on. My place is a good option for adventurers looking to stay for a night or two. There is Unlimited WiFi.
“We booked Janets home to have a girls night after going into level 2. Everything was amazing! Good for small groups, has everything you need and would 100% recommend to people coming to stay in Ohakune.”

“This place is exactly what you see in the photos and more, I had my 3month old boy and partner and it definitely delivered, we actually had to book another couple nights , from the beautiful view, which I believe is Mt ruapehu, which is right outside the cabin, to the beautiful locals at ohakune, the highlight for me was the bathtub outside, looking out to the mount and star gazing. The best, cheers Suzi”
