Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Royston

The place far exceeded our expectations. It was equipped with EVERYTHING we would have needed to not go anywhere the whole time. The kitchen was stocked with all the cooking necessities, the kind beds in every room with vaulted ceilings made us feel like the boujee girls we want to be. The views were breathtaking and being able to have all of our meals outdoors with heat and covering made it so memorable. The house came with cars and outdoor games too to use on the nice open yard. It really felt like the place was ours. The icing on the cake was the chairs, wood and starters to make our own little beach fire right below the house and roast marshmallows while watching the sunset. Couldn’t recommend this stay enough! Definitely coming back!

We had a very enjoyable two night start at Haining’s place. Beautiful location, very peaceful, idyllic. A highlight was waking up to see deer in the garden. Great value for money. Excellent host, helpful communication. We would definitely stay again, and would recommend to friends/family.

We loved our stay here. The view from the full length windows and outdoor patio were breathtaking. We saw lots of wildlife: eagles, deer, seals, an otter and humpbacks. The kitchen was stocked and the bedding was very comfortable. It was beautifully decorated. We had fires on the beach each night while we enjoyed the peaceful surroundings. It’s a walkable distance to the Dolphin Resort restaurant where the food was excellent. We would rebook in a minute.

We absolutely loved our stay at Ed and Trina's! The space was even better than we expected from the photos- tons of space and natural light. Bathroom, kitchen, living space, and bedrooms were all very clean. They included all of the amenities you could possibly need- and more! The personalized letter left for us on arrival along with a bottle of wine and yummy chocolates was so nice and made us feel very welcome. Great outdoor space for morning and evening and having a BBQ to use was a bonus. Very close driving distance to Seal Bay, Nymph Falls, etc. STAY HERE :)

Kelli's place is tucked away in a very quiet area, surrounded by nature, yet fully stocked and beautifully maintained. There was a lot of attention to detail throughout the home to make your stay comfortable, complete with a great kitchen, hot tub and an absolutely lovely porch with hummingbirds swinging by every day. We were four adults and had a very relaxing time, ending the stay with extremely satisfied elderly parents✌️The goats were also very cute. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful stay!

a spectacular place - and really well equipped with absolutely everything you need. it was a bit difficult to get to aa we had to haul our stuff up in a toboggan but it was all part of the adventure. i wish we could have stayed longer just to enjoy Carley's house. i would book it again in a heartbeat.

This is a very quiet and spacious basement suite. It was easy to find and get in. Sound does transfer between floors but the upstairs occupants were very quiet. I was happy with the suite.

Me and my family stayed for 11 days at Collin’s beautiful apartment and we loved each moment there. Spacious, modern and very clean house with scenic views, close to beach, trails and town’s center and equipped with everything you might need even for a longer stay. There are even puzzles, cards and board games for some quality family time after a busy day. We enjoyed beautiful sunsets from our patio and my son was thrilled to see deers visiting us each morning. This apartment is unique as it is a corner one, which means more privacy. It is also very convenient if you have a lot of luggage as there are no stairs. Collin was an amazing host, always replying very fast. We cannot wait to book this place for our next vacation in Ukee.

My two friends and I stayed here for the week we had school and it was probably one of the best places we have stayed. Very spacious, comfy beds, couch was big and nice to relax on after a long day at school. Kitchen had all the supplies needed. Nice to have the option for laundry as well. Very bright with all the windows. Short walk to the beach. Good storage for our paddle boards. Very responsive and friendly hosts. Quiet neighborhood but close enough to everything in town. We will be back here for sure!

We had a wonderful stay at Jane’s ! The suite is close to the the Cowichan Valley Trail ( part of the Trans Canada Trail ) which we cycled for 2 days. Also close to town and restaurants and the famous totems of Duncan. Lots of lovely touches and a very comfortable bed . Would highly recommend Jane’s air bnb .

We had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful beachside rental! From the moment we arrived, we were struck by how peaceful and welcoming the space felt. The home was spotless, tastefully decorated, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The view of the ocean was absolutely breathtaking — we spent every morning with a coffee on the deck, watching the waves roll in. Beach access was just steps away, making it easy to enjoy long walks, swims, and sunsets without ever needing to get in the car. The hosts were incredibly kind and responsive, providing helpful local tips and ensuring we felt at home. Every detail — from the cozy linens to the thoughtfully stocked kitchen — made it clear they truly care about their guests’ experience. This place is a gem. We left feeling rested, refreshed, and already dreaming about our return. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful escape by the sea.

Tracy's place is lovely, immaculately clean, very comfortable, and has a fabulous view. Everything that we could possibly need was provided. Tracy is very friendly and helpful and was very kind to my dog. We will definitely stay at Tracy's place in the future!

The place is amazing, and Billy was a great host. Every part of the property and accommodation is great. We especially enjoyed the private river access, sauna, and comfortable, well set up cabin. The space is also super flexible with lots to do, lots of places to hang out, and works for big groups. Finally, we loved how well prepared and clear things were in terms of pre-made fire places, instructions, etc. Great experience and hope to return for sure.

The house is in a quiet area with a clear view of the sea. I feel lucky to have stayed here.

A sharp modern glass tree house with a butterfly roof surrounded by trees - that makes for a comfortable stay & peaceful positive energy. We very much enjoyed the home and setting. Walls of glass floor to ceiling make it bright & a sense of light energy too. The landscaping is well done so that is nice on the eyes also. On our trip there happened to councide with very early morning & all day heavy machinery construction right next door, even on the Easter holiday. However that does not change my 5 star review. The place itself was excellent. The construction will be temporary + not always heavy machinery. And soon it will end. I just mention this so renters can get more certainty on what will be happening during the days they book. I highly recommend this rental it's a perfect place for 2 people and has a 2nd bed open to the main area that extra family could sleep in. We used that bed in the main room as a cozy place to read. Great master BR giant windows out to trees.

This cottage is perfect for exploring the Parksville area! It worked out great for our family of 4 and the pool was an awesome amenity. Super cozy furniture and blankets, nice fireplace, well equipped kitchen. Definitely recommend staying here!

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The place was spacious and comfortable, with plenty of room for our group. The beds and mattresses were incredibly comfortable, which made for a restful stay. Overall, everything was great. There are just a couple of suggestions for improvement: the dishes weren’t as clean as expected, as the dishwasher doesn’t seem to work properly. It would also be great to add a fire pit with enough seating for everyone and a light near the hot tub to make it more usable at night.

We had high hopes and they were far exceeded when we saw the property. Literally jaw dropping when we opened the door and saw the elegance and beauty of the house behind it. From the wild deer in the green beyond the fence to the pool and garden to the design and presentation of the house from basement level to top level it was nothing short of breathtaking. The views are incredible and there wasn’t a thing lacking in the house that we needed. Meghan was always responsive if we needed her and personable. The street was private and neighbours friendly also. Really could not rate our stay highly enough. You certainly get what you pay for and much much more.
