The Carriage House: Beautiful Farmland Views.

The Carriage House is the second floor of our cedar stables that was turned into an apartment years ago. It was completely redone this spring and professionally decorated to make it a cozy + luxe retreat with views to die for. While we no longer use the stables to house animals we still keep a few head of cattle + sheep in the pasture for your enjoyment. The wall of windows along the back of the apartment offer you the most stunning views of the surrounding farmland and an unforgettable sunrise.

The Innkeepers Quarters is attached to the main house but is a completely private unit. My wife and I had the best experience at this guest house. Lisa is an amazing host. Lisa blessed us with fresh eggs in the fridge from the farm. Lisa also had fresh milk, yogurts, apple cider, granola, and homemade cakes for us. The guest house and the whole property will take you back in time. The guest house was squeaky clean from top to bottom and had the perfect amenities for out stay. If you are on the fence between renting this property or another property in the area, rent this property for your vacation. You will not be disappointed!!

The apartment was easy to find, centrally located to get to everywhere we planned to go, the apatment was beautiful, Miriam's parents were friendly, as well as their horse whom we enjoyed petting . Kayla's place is a dream. highly recommended! it's right in the center for everything. cherry crest, old windmill farm, Strasbourg railroad is all just 5 mins away. the place is beautifully designed just as shown in pictures. we had a great stay and everyone enjoyed it!

The absolute best stay we’ve had since joining the platform . Leon and Katie’s home had everything we needed to make our stay a perfect one . Not only was their home immaculate, it was filled with so many beautiful touches and was the perfect layout for our small group . The backyard was fully fenced and its swingset gave our little one and our dog so much time to play and have fun . They even had some treats and goodies from the local area in stock for our arrival. They are such considerate hosts and we recommend them to the fullest extent. The only negative thing about our stay was the feeling of dread that came over us the night before knowing that we would have to leave in the morning . Thank you Leon and Katie for making our stay such a memorable one and expect to see future requests to book from us . Thanks again

We had a wonderful stay! The place was easy to find, spotless, and incredibly peaceful. We loved hearing the sound of horses passing by. It felt like stepping back in time, but with the comfort of a modern, well-equipped bathroom. The location is close to all the attractions, which made it very convenient. Kathryn was very friendly and proactive in her communication. She answered our questions promptly and was a pleasure to deal with. As others mentioned in the reviews, it’s a good idea to bring a firestarter. Highly recommend!
