What a gem of a place and hosts! We traveled to quite a few places during our 2.5 week trip through Europe, and this was by far our favorite stay. Located in the Luberon Valley in the medieval town of Ménerbes, Provence, you only had to look outside of your window to see the vibrant purple shades of the blooming summer lavenders and lavandines. The stay was well appointed with everything you’d need, and the private courtyard provided breathtaking views of the valleys and nearby mountains. The town and stay are rich in history - you’ll enjoy learning about it from hosts Maria and Francois, who are absolutely delightful. A beautiful breakfast of local fresh fruits, pastries, eggs and yogurt was provided, which gave us enough fuel for a long day of walking and sightseeing. My favorite part of it all were the conversations we had with Maria and Francois over breakfast - they’re quite charming and funny; we exchanged stories of our lives and travels. Highly recommend this stay!

The beautiful room with outdoor kitchen and outdoor dining room had everything you need for relaxing days. A fragrant, tasteful bedroom with good Bed and beautiful linen, a wonderful covered and well-maintained dining area with outdoor kitchen, functionally furnished. A large pool, to be used at any time and larger than in the pictures, wonderful in hot temperatures after a trip - and even illuminated at night. A central location to explore Provence and the Carmargue, on absolutely private and large grounds with the landlady Marie Agnes and her discreet family. In a quiet, friendly and pleasant way, Marie Agnes anticipated our every wish and gave good tips for the area. Beautiful bird and frog concert in the evening. We stayed for 3 nights and wished we could have stayed longer! Loved the pool, morning bike rides and the proximity to many points of interest in Provence. The garden in well-maintained, we loved having 2 tables to choose from based on where the sun was. The kitchen is well equipped, we ended up cooking at home because the ambiance was just perfect!

A perfect place to hide away in plain view in Provence. Right in the middle of the stunning town of Menerbes. Steps away from all the restaurants and the curated epicerie. Although pricey, definitely worth it. Maison O was exactly how we imagined it to be. The rooms were comfortable and spacious. Beds extremely comfortable and bathrooms with excellent showers which were definitely needed since the day time temperature never went below 30 for the whole week. Apropos that. A little more shade for the terrace would have been much appreciated. Although there is no AC the interior rooms stayed coolish if all doors and windows were kept closed. The whole experience was fabulous. Our favourite evening activity after the heat of the mid day was a stroll to Cafe Progres, purchasing an Apéritif and sitting on their terrace overlooking the valley. A light breeze to cool us down and a chat with the locals. It really was the quintessential experience in Provence. We would not hesitate to return.

Paulina’s house is amazing. So peaceful lovely nature around. A swimming pool in the garden The house is beautifully decorated with amazing furniture ,nice bed. A nice morning walk of 1 hour took us to the village where we had coffee.Great restaurants. Paulina is an amazing host. She has put a lot of effort in to make you feel right at home and a lot of info. about the area and surroundings . Would love to come back

We have never been so well received (in over 10 years of Airbnb)! The property is quiet, beautiful; the apartment is very comfortable, impeccably clean, very well-equipped; the pool is very pleasant but above all, Marie-France, her husband and their grandchildren were of an unparalleled welcome, simplicity and kindness. A meeting that marked us and that makes us want to come back for longer :) Thank you again to everyone, young and old!

Bernadette and Damien were extremely welcoming and lovely. They have a beautiful house and garden that they have put lots of work into. We particularly enjoyed the pool and all of the outdoor seating areas. We would love to come back one day.

Gino's apartment is impeccable and well appointed. Possibility to park your car in the private parking. Aldo just across the residence. You can book Gino's apartment without so much as a second thought. 👍

Lovely little place to stay if you are looking for a quiet getaway! Close to plenty of things to see and do, all within a 20ish minute walk. It was a very straightforward walk to and from the local train station. Fabienne provided plenty of bathroom supplies including sanitary products, a hair dryer and other amenities. Although the apartment at night was incredibly warm, as it is situated on the top floor, the cooling pad and fans definitely helped. Thank you for a lovely stay!

I booked the place urgently and Antonia was incredibly responsive. The welcome was warm, everything was easy and in a very pleasant atmosphere. The place was easy to find, with a dedicated parking space, which is a real plus. The environment is quiet, peaceful, perfect for resting. I highly recommend it, and I already know where to stay next time I head back to the South. Thanks again Antonia!

Nicolas gave us a warm welcome in his little Marseille paradise nestled in an alley overlooking the sea with, the icing on the cake, direct access to the beach. We will come back without hesitation to enjoy the calm, the sea view and the sweetness of life. Special mention for the fresh beers that were waiting for us on arrival.

Our stay at Anthony's went great. We were welcomed at the time indicated for our arrival very warmly. The apartment itself is very well-equipped, comfortable, in a good location, quiet and the bedding is impeccable (we slept very well). We recommend this property

We had a great week. Audrey is very welcoming, bubbly, and reachable at any time if needed. Regarding the apartment, I'm trying to find something negative but I don't see anything. It is extremely clean, it smells good when you come in, storage galore (which is rare), an ideal size for a couple or even 3 people and of course a view of the beautiful port accessible in 2 minutes on foot. In short, to be repeated as soon as possible.

5 mins to the beach. It’s a very nice spot to sit by the water and enjoy. Host was there to greet us, walk us up and show the apartment.

Clean and as described. Waterfront apartment, the beach is located opposite. Parking in the back very convenient. We had a great time at Mathieu's and recommend this stay.

We spent a great week in Gwendolin's beautiful and well-kept apartment and felt right at home. The quiet location within walking distance to the Vallon des Auffes and many beautiful swimming opportunities is perfect. We spent beautiful long evenings on the fantastic roof terrace and would have preferred not to leave at all. Gwendolin was always super easy to reach, flexible and helpful. We would recommend the place to anyone and come back anytime.

Admiring a magnificent sunset from the terrace overlooking a pond, a beautiful view and extraordinary calm, that's what I keep in mind from my short stay in this beautiful, well-equipped and well-functional apartment. Arrived at 2 a.m. with two small children, the welcome booklet sent by Alfred before arrival reassured me about the organization. The baby bed already prepared, the apartment that contains everything you need to stay there as a family and especially the calm gave me good reason to choose this accommodation for my stay rather than going to a hotel.
