Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Rockingham County

We had a delightful stay at Pam and Gordon’s house. The house and property are beautiful. Both Gordon and Pam were the ultimate host. Pam provided a home-cooked breakfast for us each morning of our stay. We would definitely stay again if we are in the area.

Better than the pictures - this place is just amazing. Only caution is to bring a sleep mask because there aren't curtains (very private area). Don't forget a swimsuit because the hot tub is unreal.

We really enjoyed our stay. Gordon and Pam are wonderful. They went out of the way to make us feel at home. This is our second time staying at their home.

We had a wonderful stay when we were in town for a wedding. Would have been a great place to stay with children. Plenty of space in the kitchen and living space. Really a great spot!

Extremely good deal money wise met my needs of a comfortable place to sleep. Host is so nice and responsive. I would stay here again in a flash. Highly recommended for an affordable place

Myra was a great host! This was my first time renting an Airbnb and any question I had she responded very promptly and was very nice! The property was great! Great outside living space and the inside was great Just would have liked for there to be a shelf or hooks (for towels/washcloths) in the master bathroom. But, everything else was fantastic Thanks Myra!!

Ed was a gracious host. We enjoyed learning about the history of the house and town. We are grateful that we could bring our small dog with us on our trip.

We enjoyed our time at this Airbnb. Neat & Clean. Close to everything, but felt private. Enjoyed the front covered porch and swing, as well. Would stay here again.

Kelly’s place was the perfect spot for our needs. Her communication and accommodating presence allowed us to feel really comfortable in the space. The location was gorgeous and we really enjoyed walking out back on the trails. Thanks for hosting!

I would book with them again. I love the location of the house. It’s near absolutely beautiful parks and I love the small town feel it’s peaceful. I couldn’t ask for anything better. I have now stayed at Enola’s place twice and it remains one of the best Airbnbs I have booked! The high ceilings, wooden floors, and large windows are a great addition to such a beautiful space. The bed was very comfortable and cozy. The amenities are top notch as well. Most importantly, these are some of the best and most helpful hosts you will encounter. I can’t recommend this place enough.

I can’t say enough great things about this place and the host. Elizabeth was friendly and responsive and the place had many great amenities. Loved the outdoor space. Comfortable and peaceful. The bed was also comfortable and private with good blinds and curtains to keep out the light. The kitchen had everything we need to cook a fabulous meal.

Host was friendly and answered back very quickly when I had a question. Place was just what it looked like. Perfect for 1-2 people 3-4 if you use the futon fold out. Despite being in a busy city it was pretty quiet. The bed was much more comfortable than I expected. I had a hip replacement a couple of years ago and I was prepared to wake up kind of stiff and in pain like I do when I sleep in other places but I woke up with no extra pain. I was very pleased with the apartment. I had a nice little getaway and a great price.

We have been visiting this wonderful cabin for nine years. It is our favorite hidden gem, and Meagan and Wade are the most marvelous hosts! Hope to be back for another visit soon!

The property was just as described and pictured. Everything was perfectly clean. It's ideal for people looking for a quiet, private place to get away from it all, surrounded by nature.

Beautiful cabin that was very well appointed. Loved reading about it's history, the location was peaceful, and the hummingbirds a special treat to watch!

Beautiful little get away. Went to see hanging rock state park and was the perfect location for a small vacation with the kids. Cabin was great with everything you would need and more inside to feel comfortable.

If you’re looking to get away from a busy lifestyle & need to unwind , the cabin is the perfect place. Not many places you can lay in bed & watch the sunrise. Truly a very special place & my husband & I feel very blessed to have spent a weekend there.

Our group has stayed at this property twice and will likely do so again. Very clean, private, and well-appointed. Chris has been very responsive when needed and we look forward to our next visit.

We had such a wonderful stay here. The rental is very nice and the fenced in backyard with a fire pit was definitely a bonus. Everything was super clean and Eric was very kind and helpful. Next time we are in the area we will definitely stay here again.
