Welcome to Villa Maria, our fairy tale guest house in a calm location next to the forest and with a vast garden in the village Lauterbourg in Northern Alsace, France. It's just 5 min by foot to the heart of the village with a couple of bakeries, restaurants, a grocery store and small shops, or 10 min to the beach & lake. It's only 2 min by car from Germany, and a perfect location for exploring the Rhine border region Karlsruhe-Strasbourg, or for a rest on the way when travelling across Europe.

The cottage is equipped to a high standard, in winter the pellet stove burns with a cozy flame, A seat on the winery property invites you to enjoy a glass of wine at sunset. Enjoy this apartment suitable for people with reduced mobility. With wheelchair access and an Italian shower. 40 minutes from Strasbourg and 1 hour from the French and German Wine Route, Karlsruhe and the Black Forest are 30 minutes away, as well as 1 hour 20 minutes from Europapark. Air conditioning will cool you down on hot days. You have 2 bedrooms (1 bed and 1 sofa bed), a living room (1 pull-out) and an equipped kitchen with access to the balcony.

The nap corner is a 23 m2 studio located in a village. This is an independent suite with a private entrance, in our family home. It's a passive house with no need for heating or air conditioning. It consists of a bedroom with a 1.80 m bed or 2 beds of 90 cm joined with high-end bedding, TV and kitchenette, a bathroom and a separate toilet. It has a private terrace overlooking an accessible orchard. 5 minutes from the amenities of Soutz-sous-Forêt.

You will love lounging in our heated indoor pool while listening to the birds sing under the magnificent cherry trees that overlook the garden.
