Vacation rentals with lake access in Richfield Township

The place was beautiful, great view and location, the space was clean and it had everything we needed. We originally had plans to bring our jet skis but the weather didn’t cooperate nonetheless this would’ve been a perfect spot to enjoy them. The only downside was you could smell the well water in the bathroom but the rest of the space made up for it and would definitely come again. Alex was very responsive and helpful, thanks again!

Everything was fantastic! The place was very clean and felt very cozy! Clinton was very helpful, answered most questions before i could ask! would definitely recommend!

The house is on the canal right off the lake. We kept our boat tied up right outside the house. There are a lot of extras. Lucky for us there was an extra gas can because our gas gage started acting up and we ran out of gas in the middle grounds. There are kayaks you can use. There is a washer and dryer, plus a black stone. Lots of room for parking. I loved the king size bed.

Beautiful place, plenty of parking space for 3 trucks and trailers. We loved having the wood burner stove for the cold nights after riding. Very comfortable beds, it was awesome to have wifi in an area with absolutely no signal. Would definitely stay again next year.

My husband and I, along with our 3 Siberian huskies stayed for 2 nights. We wished it was for longer! Jenna granted us an extra hr for check out which we really appreciated! Also, this house is incredibly clean. We were both impressed. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back. Something to note: there’s about 3-5 ft of water before you get into “muck” and the lake is full of seaweed. We brought our paddle board and floated around. The water is very clear and it was actually quite beautiful to look at the fish and even the seaweed looked beautiful. There are some deeper parts that you could definitely avoid touching any weeds. But just something to note if you plan on swimming. Also, we didn’t explore the entire lake so not sure what the far half is like. SUNRISES ARE GORGEOUS HERE! I would book this place just to watch the sunrise. And lots of wildlife. I would think kids would really enjoy it! Turtles, geese, tons of fish, loons. Again, overall highly recommend

Peaceful lake vacation with lots to do on the water. Our family loved the kayaks, paddle boards, rowboat, and large mat to play in the water. Everything was there to simply enjoy a serene family vacation on the lake. My son brought his fishing poles and they went out fishing in the boat and kayak and played all the time on the lake. We also enjoyed having my family over who we were in town to visit, and all sit at the the water’s edge in the numerous comfortable chairs provided, just catching up. Everything was perfect for enjoying one another’s company. The house itself is spacious and accommodating for a large family. Comfortable beds, plenty of area to hang out and be cozy while watching a movie, or separate the kids off from those who stay up a little later in the adjoining kitchen area. A perfect place! Book now absolutely.

We had a great time at the chalet on our trip to cross-country ski in the area. Great location and quiet. Appreciated the treats (hot cocoa and s’mores). Kids loved the upstairs. Super comfy beds and nice open layout. Snowed quite a bit before and during our stay- excellent ski conditions and we enjoyed exploring the many xc ski areas within 7-25 min drive (XC Ski Headquarters, Forbush Corner, Hanson Hills, Hartwick Pines). Best lunch was at The Stone Turtle Cafe at XC Ski Headquarters.

I was very new to this part of the country. So I needed to adjust. But this little house was a great place to do that. Nice bed linens, clean kitchen and bathroom (although small), nice backyard to enjoy peace and quiet. I didn’t use the canoeing / rafting place nearby but I would have liked too. It would be great if an outdoor hammock or rocking chair was added

We really enjoyed staying at Fawn’s place!! This was a top tier place! She thought of everything and provided so many extras like snacks, an assortment of drinks and even chocolates on the pillows. The decor was very well done and it was so clean and comfortable. It was a great spot to stay as we explored some of north Michigan. We slept well and the surroundings were very peaceful and quiet. We would stay here again without any hesitation. Fawn was quick to answer questions and help in any way. We enjoyed staying here very much!!

Wonderful place to stay off-season. Exactly what we were looking for. Very convenient and effortless check-in check-out.

A real "Gem" as the name says. We had a very nice time and the host and hostess went above and beyond to make us feel right at home. From check-in to the hugs at check-out, Monica made our stay very enjoyable. We would highly recommend staying at Grem's Gems cottage. We were sad to leave, felt like we were leaving our own family.

Super cute apartment unit! They had all the amenities, clear instructions, it was super clean and easy to check in and out of! Very nice! The host was super helpful with instructions and information before check in too!

We have stayed several times now. This place has a beautiful view of Lake Missaukee. They are always accommodating with check-in time. Check in and out was easy. Walking distance to restaurants. It had everything we needed. Host was very responsive.

Karen was an amazing host! Check in was extremely easy and the place was easy to find! Both Karen and Mark were so so friendly! My mom and I thoroughly enjoyed wandering through Karen's shop downstairs all while chatting with Karen the whole time. We felt like we've known her for years! She was so helpful while I was trying to find the perfect gift in her shop. The space we stayed in was perfect! It was cozy, comfortable and clean! The black out curtains were welcomed, as were the A/C's and fan! The furniture was comfortable and everything we needed for the weekend. Highly recommend to anyone, and we will definitely be back in the event we come back to that area. Zero complaints!

What a beautiful place to stay and come back to after a long day of training for a week. It was peaceful, quiet, had a fireplace, a private lake that we used for kayaking, an indoor pool, and a tennis court. There was even $1 ice cream bars at the community center. Host was responsive and gave heads up about things as needed. They did not bombard with unnecessary information and gave clear instructions and recommendations in a binder provided. The only thing we wished it offered was the ability to bring our dog. We would definitely come back for a getaway trip though.

The Blue Gill Cottage was a beautiful place to spend Memorial Day weekend with our family! The location is so peaceful and relaxing. We enjoyed the beautiful lakefront view, kayaking and fishing during the day and bonfires at night! Barbara was a wonderful host who was quick to respond with any questions we had. We highly recommend! We plan on many more visits in the future!

We enjoyed our long weekend at Houghton Lake in your beautiful home. It was the perfect space for 2 adults and 3 teenagers. The kitchen is fully stocked and the home was clean and had thoughtful touches throughout. Also, the sunset views are amazing! You can tell they take pride in hosting guests. We would love to come back during the summer to enjoy the lake more.

This place was amazing! Perfect for a family of 10 plus two pups. This house had everything you needed and more! It had all the water toys, games for family night, fishing poles and chairs to surround the fire at night with everyone. The dock was perfect to stand for hours to fish and catch any quantity and quality of fish. My family and I were amazed with our stay in an air bnb. I highly recommend this place to stay in, and we’re already planning our next trip here. Evelyn was very helpful, tentative and warned us of storms heading our way. We really appreciate everything.

My husband and I had a wonderful time relaxing at this lake house. It had everything needed for us to kick back, relax, and unplug. Our host was very responsive with every contact that we made! The only thing I would add to the house description is that there are a few pretty tall steps in the house, so someone with bad knees might want to consider that. Great place and well with the money!

The house is great, super clean, cleverly decorated and well stocked. The snack bag was a nice touch. Outside was great as well. Great place to sit on the deck and watch birds and boats. Speaking of boats, we were disappointed that our boat that we towed up ( 4 hour trip) could not be docked at the sea wall due to the water depth and lack of a safe way of boarding. Wished I had been informed accurately as I did make inquiries prior to the trip. I highly recommend this place but I would inspect the dockage before committing if you intend the bring a boat.

Our family has stayed at many Airbnb’s, but this was one of our favorite stays! We kayaked, used the hot tub, explored Higgins Lake, and cooked all of our meals from the house. Kari’s home has every thing you need- felt just like home. The homemade breakfast and popsicles were a hit with our family! Our stay exceeded our expectations!!
