Elaine is a charming, flexible and accommodating host! The setting is superb, a beautiful quiet house with beautiful rooms and renovated shower rooms. We'd love to come back to this place if we get the chance!

Wonderful home in the small charming town of Monségur. Host was easy to communicate with and attentive. Nice kitchen allowing us to cook one evening. Home exactly as described.

We had an amazing 6 days. We adored the gite and we made friends with the chickens, the cat and a local dog. It’s amazing for children. And yet so peaceful. I would highly recommend this place

Very lovely place with a beautiful view

Excellent stay with friends in this quiet house with beautiful spaces, nice tranquility and pleasant pool on this beautiful weekend. Overall we had a nice stay! The only downside is the lack of a 3rd toilet - which for 12 people is useful (but we were warned before we arrived, and we know it was exceptional).

Excellent location. If you know the Dordogne it is just as you’d expect. Peaceful and surrounded by rolling hills of grass, corn and beautiful sunflowers! House is super. Just note that all bar one bedroom have interlinking doors. This can be positive for some but may put off others. It didn’t impact our stay at all.

We stayed here in June 2025. The villa was absolutely fantastic. The location is ideal for a short drive to local towns like Sarlat, but is nestled away over looking the dordogne river! Didier was extremely helpful and proactive with communication. I could not have chosen a better place to stay.

We had a fantastic birthday weekend with our friends at Guillaume's. The place is peaceful and secluded, the house is beautiful and spacious and the pool was a big hit. Guillaume is very considerate and explained everything to us to fully enjoy the stay!

Beautiful house and pool gite. Everything that you needed inside amd outside the house plus lots of extras, like dishwasher tablets. Beautiful surrounding area and great local town (Lalinde) with good restaurants and cafes. There was a market on Thursday which was good. Great host who was very helpful and responsive to our needs. Would love to come and stay again next year.

This house is absolutely gorgeous! It is superbly equipped and had everything we needed and more. The outdoor space is great: beautifully maintained and very private and the river views are stunning. The pool was perfect for our three teens and they also appreciated the access to Netflix. The location is great as you can walk to nearby shops and restaurants and are an easy drive from multiple local attractions.

The villa is spacious and well appointed. The outdoor areas are particularly well maintained. The view of the surrounding vineyards is stunning. The value is excellent. The contact with the host was responsive and pleasant.

The setting is beautiful, surrounded by vineyards and sunflowers. The local town is 10 mins away, with a market. The property is a lovely old farmhouse, with lots of space and nice furniture, comfortable beds and a refreshing pool. Valerie made us feel very welcomed. A great place to unwind.

I can’t say enough about how beautiful this place is. It is bigger and grander than it looks in the photos and the view is stunning! It has lots of gorgeous bedrooms and we enjoyed having big meals in the dining room. The house is located on top of a hill with a view of the Dordogne River and very close to beautiful villages, caves, and nature.

First and foremost Lucie and her parents Annick and Pierre are greats hosts and super lovely. They were helpful and so welcoming. Perfect communication and always there when we need them. The chateau was a dream- peaceful and beautiful not to mention super clean! Our stay there was amazing and it’s perfect for family’s. Won’t hesitate to return! We had a great time in this beautiful house, located in the countryside, in a totally isolated environment, with no neighbors. The location, in the heart of the fields, offers absolute calm, conducive to relaxation. The house is very nice, beautifully decorated, perfectly equipped and remarkably cool in summer, which is particularly nice. The pool is spacious, well equipped and has all the amenities you need to enjoy it. Special mention for the summer kitchen, very functional and friendly, which greatly contributed to the success of our stay. We highly recommend this rental to anyone looking for peace, comfort and a change of scenery.

My family and I had a lovely peaceful holiday in a tranquil setting. The pool was perfect with room for all our family to enjoy with plenty of space for the adults and our 4 children. Sally had recommendations of places to visit nearby, which we did, and they were enjoyable for us all. The accommodation was set in a large garden which the children and adults liked to explore and Sally had provided some board games to keep us entertained in the evenings. Sally was responsive and helpful and her home was well equipped with lots of lovely goodies for us to share as well. We would definitely stay at Sallys place again. We all feel fully recharged and the children are already asking when we can return.

Seven adults and two small children enjoyed Gwen’s property. We all had a super time, everything was as described, clean, and worked. It felt like considerable effort had gone into anticipating the clients needs & these were more than met, which doesn’t happen often. We would highly recommend Gwen’s property, we had no issues, loved the pool & the view was spectacular. We had a great, relaxing family holiday.

Had a lovely two weeks, very family friendly with a big, deep pool. Relaxing and fun, the BBQ and large shaded table outside the kitchen was great for meals. Also strong and reliable WiFi ! We also appreciated being able to bring our lovely dog who is very much part of the family.

Beautiful quiet villa. Everything is very functional, a lot of equipment is available. The house has very large living space both indoors and outdoors. We had a very pleasant weekend with 9 people. Thank you

We had a pleasant week at this cottage, peaceful and refreshing. Plenty of sleeping options (double bedroom, single, dorm, secluded or not) and a well-equipped kitchen. No neighbors and a very large garden as a playground. Impeccable pool and air conditioning for hot days. We'd gladly come back
