Apartment vacation rentals in Ribeira Grande

Apartment is beautiful, and the location is unbeatable. Absolutely the best location we could have asked for for a few days in the city. The host coordinated a taxi pickup for us after we checked in, which was much appreciated as we were unsure which taxi company to use (and there is no Uber on the island). Only feedback is that they use a management company and ask that you communicate via whats app for quicker response. Not a huge fan of communication outside of the Airbnb app, and response time can vary. The apartment was beautiful, in a great spot, and checkout was easy. Would stay there again.

Santa Bárbara Sea House is peaceful yet close to Ribeira Grande. The apartment is tastefully renovated, bright, very clean, and well equipped. We especially liked the two comfortable bedrooms, the open kitchen-living area, and the shared outdoor space. Silvia an her Team is a fantastic host – friendly, reliable, and easy to reach. A perfect place to relax, enjoy, and explore the island. Highly recommended!

Nice comfortable apartment. Well situated with supermarket nearby and other amenities. Practical location for visiting the island. Easy parking in front of building. We had a great stay there. Nice terrace for sunny days.

We enjoyed our stay and felt right at home. We were welcomed in person, and there were some treats to enjoy, which was very thoughtful. The apartment is very spacious and clean. The location was great, and we were easily able to walk around town. We also had an easy time finding parking on the street behind the apartment. Miguel and Pedro were lovely hosts. They were communicative and always quick to respond. We would recommend this apartment and will stay here again if we visit again.

The stay was very pleasant, the accommodation is impeccable and as described, equipped with everything you need. Very well located for getting around the island. Bruno was very nice and flexible on the arrival time. If you like dogs, you'll be happy to have regular visits from one of them! :) I would recommend this place without hesitation.

The house is well located, close to supermarkets and any point on the island. We traveled with a baby and everything was adequate, they provided a crib and highchair for him. It had a garden where we could enjoy ourselves. The area was quiet, although the lower part of the neighborhood is somewhat hostile. However, since we were going by car, it was not a problem. Also, something to note is that there is no microwave or gel. Everything else is highly recommended.

The host was incredibly kind, thoughtful, and responsive, making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed throughout our stay. It really made a difference and added such a personal touch to the experience. My three friends and I felt relaxed, safe, and truly cared for. Whether we were sharing meals, exploring the area, or just unwinding, the space brought us joy and made our trip so memorable. Immaculate and great location in Furnas. Clean, comfortable apartment with well-appointed kitchen. The location was amazing just a block from Parque Terra Nostra. The Caldeiras are on the other side of town, a 10-15 minute walk. Ample street parking a short distance from the apartment. We found the washer/dryer useful. The best part for me was how quiet the penthouse was. It is on a main street, but the place is in the back of the building, and we never heard street noise or neighbors. This was my favorite place of the 3 we stayed at in Portugal, but it was my wife's second favorite, as it was smaller than the others and she found it a bit cramped.

The accommodation was impeccably clean and in a comfortable and cozy decoration. The welcome basket with regional products was a very thoughtful gesture by hosts. The house has excellent soundproofing, which provides a peaceful rest. It is very well equipped, with plenty of utensils available. I highly recommend this site and will undoubtedly return at the next opportunity.

The flat is even more beautiful and spacious than in the pictures. Well-equipped kitchen, brand-new furniture, extremely clean rooms and comfortable beds. A nice seafood restaurant steps away from the back entrance of the building. Overall an excellent stay. We’ll certainly be back!

We had a great time in Sao Miguel. The accommodation is well located, close to the places to visit. The accommodation is clean and very nicely decorated. When we arrived, Rui greeted us and fresh bread was given to us every morning. I appreciate your welcome.

Marion is a great host, kind, generous and always available. The place was, in fact, even more beautiful than the pictures. We immediately felt comfortable. Very clean and comfortable, great courtyard and very convenient to let the kids play. Slightly set back from the city, we loved it for the tranquility and the magnificent view! Conveniently located to visit all corners of the island. Unbeatable value for money. I recommend it without hesitating!

“Compact” apartment but it has everything one needs and is very comfortable. Well equipped kitchen, very comfortable bed, excellent Internet connection! Beautiful view of the city (south and east). The hosts were reactive and a pleasure to deal with. The apartment is in a quiet neighbourhood (and a quiet building) with a parking lot across the street. It is a walking distance to the city centre (shops and restaurants) and also to a larger shopping centre. I had a very pleasant stay.

Paulo was a very helpful host, giving us lots of recommendations of places to go to. The apartment was clean, tidy and organized. It was a great stay 🙂

We absolutely loved our stay! The apartment has so much charm – it’s part of a beautifully renovated old building, combining traditional character with stylish design. It’s located in a little village, which made the experience feel even more special and authentic. The apartment is perfectly equipped with everything you need, and we got some nice local gifts. The large garden is peaceful and great for relaxing. It's also the perfect base for exploring the west of the island, including the breathtaking Sete Cidades. We will definitely come back.

Beautiful location. Sea view. Big sliding glass doors and wonderful black out blinds. Brilliant shower. Gualter and his wife were perfect hosts, helping with local convenient car hire and taxi too. Always there to help make the trip smooth and special. Great hosts, great apartment, great location. There are sea water swimming pools within 5 minutes walk! We loved this.

The apartment is beautiful, it is attached to their house but you have a section of farm that seems like it is all to yourselves. The fresh vegetables and fruit were delicious, it is located so central you can go to either end of the island easily. The restaurant was incredible!

André was very helpful from beginning to the end of our stay. Always available if any help or advice was needed. Extremely friendly in communication and checking in with us during our stay to make sure all was okay. Amazing experience and great location. The hot tub was exactly what we needed at the end of an adventurous day! I recommend to anybody looking for a great experience and central location while in Sao Miguel!

Really can’t say enough positive things about this spot. Excellent location right in the heart of Ponta Delgada, walkable to everything. Clean, modern, well lit space with all the amenities, even a curated wine selection. Honestly one of the nicest AirBNBs I’ve ever stayed in and perfect for our family of 5’s stay on Sao Miguel.

We really enjoyed our stay, the apartment is very close to a popular surf spot, it's just 1 minute walk. The apartment is very modern and having the jakuzi on the terrace was a nice experience. The communication with Ryan was very fast, when there was a problem, he helped immediately.

My husband and I had a great stay at Bruno’s Airbnb. We picked this apartment because it is located in a very quiet neighborhood, 7 minutes away from the supermarket, and about 15 minutes away from Ponta Delgada. When we arrived the space was very clean, spacious, and well maintained. Everything looks brand new. The bed was very comfortable to sleep in after a long adventurous day. He was very quick to answer any of our questions and he provided some great recommendations on places to visit, and where to eat. I would definitely recommend this place to a friend.
