O acesso é feito de uma maneira muito típica, através de uma vereda. A casa de banho da nossa casinha não é recomendada a gigantes de mais de 1,90m 😁, visto que a renovação foi fiel ao projeto inicial da época da avó. Está localizada no centro da vila de Porto Moniz perto de todas as comodidades (supermercado, farmácia, multibanco, cafés).

Be adventurous , something completely different

Located in the north-western part of the island ,its an amazing location protected by conservation laws that have kept the area free of over development. With epic mountain and sea-views (the photos don't do it justice) the tents are located 450m above the coastline. If a place to relax and unwind is what you after then this would be the place to come to. There are also some amazing levada walks to explore in the area.There are three tents on the property so you might have neighbours.

This is how AirBNB should be. The house is stacked with everything. How often are you in an Airbnb and they only have 6 plates? Here they have 20+, they have Great knives, tons of kitchenware, enough toilet paper, plenty of dishwasher tabs and also cleaner for the washing machine. Things you normally expect but somehow got lost in the making money machine Airbnb is now. Not here!! A absolute crazy welcome basket (have not had such a big one ever), friendly crew and absolute amazing place - can only recommend

Samuel’s place was fantastic. Our party of 6 absolutely loved our stay there. The home was very clean and equipped with everything we needed for our stay! It was well located - walking to the main town area and pools was easy. Rooms had plenty of storage for luggage. The balconies had the most amazing sunset views! What a hidden gem in Porto Moniz! We’d certainly stay here again!!

Wij verbleven 3 nachten in het appartement. We werden vriendelijk ontvangen en Béatrice had goede tips voor supermarkten etc. Alles was schoon en opgeruimd en overal was aangedacht. Er was voldoende opbergruimte voor kleding etc. De keuken en koelkast waren groot en schoon. Wij hebben hier 2 vd 3 avonden gebruik gemaakt van het BBQ rooster, erg lekker! Daarnaast had het appartement een fijn buiten zithoekje en een prachtig uitzicht. Porto Moniz is heeft prachtige omgeving!

Where do I start, Leandro’s hosting simply made our trip to Madeira. He has created a surfers heaven with the studio, with surfboard storage, super comfy bed, nice, clean and modern amenities and a trendy bathroom with a real special view - wow. The studio is perfect for a couple, close to the surf but also close to everything you want and need to explore in Madeira. I couldn’t recommend it more. Leandro - The host and founder of the accommodation needs a special recognition, he is kind, gentle, welcoming, knowledgeable and helpful. We ran out of coffee and before I knew it he was at the door with fresh coffee to replace, amazing service. Thank you got a perfect stay. Would give 6 stars if I could.

We deliberately did not choose to stay near Funchal as we like peace and rural surroundings. Finding this place felt like a lucky shot. It was exactly like a dream: wake up hearing the ocean, frogs at night, enjoy a warm jacuzzi, own pool and gym + parking space (not for larger cars though), full front sea view and as a bonus a gorgeous hiking path right from the apartment. The surroundings are full of banana trees (pick your own bananas from the garden), the hiking path is full of colourful flowers (I picked fresh flowers every morning and put them in a vase). Within 15 minutes by car you're in Calheta where you find the Pingo Doce Super Calheta and you can have nice diner at Local, with nice sunset and beach right in front. In the direct area of the apartment there are a few restaurants shacks as well with local public. We did not eat there but it seems to have a nice young vibe with lots of people hang out outside, eating and drinking. Communication with Daluz was excellent!
