Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Rheintal District

The cottage is idyllically located on a small vineyard. nice weather has my great view of the valley. There are some shopping and a small bakery nearby. From Marbach, you can also find many excursion destinations reach out.

The house is very beautiful and the garden is like you are in a resort, and the view is amazing. Everything is clean. I came to this village before I go to Interlaken, and it is more beautiful in nature. Monica is very kind and friendly, and proactive in communication.

There were two of us in the beautiful part of Wendy and Sven's house. Wendy welcomed us and showed us the charming apartment in her Appenzell house. In the spacious kitchen we were able to cater perfectly, the fridge is large and there is plenty of dishes available. Great that there is also a dishwasher! Tabs, detergent, sponge, enough kitchen towels, everything available. Also plenty of towels and toilet paper. We didn't miss anything. We took beautiful hikes and had good food in neighboring Heiden. We also visited the Henry Dunant Museum in Heiden - very interesting! In the cozy living room, we were able to relax well and review our experiences. The ceilings and door frames are low because it is an old, very pretty, renovated Appenzell house, you have to be a little careful. We're looking forward to our next visit with Wendy and Sven!

Beautiful location even without leaving the house, just looking through windows or on balcony. But otherwise within 30 mins driving anywhere you go it's a pleasure, particularly if you like hiking. House is very comfortable and quiet, we particularly were impressed with how well stocked the kitchen was - even if we did not have food with us on arrival we would not be hungry 😀. So far I'd say our favorite area in whole Switzerland and great location. All kinds of local information is provided by hosts, including maps - very thoughtful and greatly appreciated. When we come back to Switzerland this is the area we would like to come back to most and explore further and this is the house we would consider renting first, if available. Host was also very responsive, which always is appreciated.

Very nice cottage with garden, between slightly modern and old school. Beautiful nature, etc., we haven't been so relaxed in a long time, even the dog was relaxed. Bonus was the little stream that goes through the garden, especially nice for falling asleep. Highly recommended👌👍👍

Thomas and his mother welcomed us very warmly. The house is very comfortable, has amazing views . The beds were comfortable, the house was clean and tidy and we felt very comfortable. It was a wonderful weekend with my family. Thank you Thomas and your parents. We will be happy to come back.

It was a great vacation 🤩 You immediately feel comfortable in the apartment. Warm and cozy, big. Everything you need is there and if not, you are welcome to ask 😉 The kitchen has a microwave that can also be used as an oven, as well as everything you need for cooking and dishwasher . In the bathroom there is a washing machine that also dry the laundry. There is a TV with Amazon Prime that we are allowed to use 🙂 The looks is also magnificent, you have the view of the mountain there are plenty of opportunities to shop nearby, whether in Switzerland ,Austria or Germany. There are also great restaurants and bars . Everyone in the house is very nice also the neighborhood. Parking is reserved but getting into the house is still some stairs and a small path ,so save strength for it 😉 Otherwise there is also a path directly from the house that goes in the forest and you can also walk the area is very nice and quiet. I would love to come back. 😁

The house is small, cozy, well furnished and very clean. Beautiful view from the window and being under the roof was romantic and magical. The house is a 5-minute walk from the ski school and the slopes of Wildhaus.

Beautiful room. cooking place and toilet are spotless. close to bus stops. too much noise from passing vehicles.

My brother and I greatly enjoyed our stay at Jasmin’s lovely apartment. She and Clement were so welcoming and provided us with breakfast goodies as well. The apt was close to the Theater bus stop and it was extremely easy to get around if we chose to walk to the main sights. There was both a wonderful bakery and coffee shop less than a block away. I very much recommend this spacious apartment.

Beautiful, cozy space with nice views and quiet! Very comfortable beds. We chose to stay here after our excursion to seealpsee, for a night. And I'm glad we chose it! It had everything we needed. We recommend it!

Overall, the place was very suitable. I'm used to a lot of space so coming to Europe (from Canada) there is always a bit of a sacrifice. Irene's place is very nice and has a great view but there are a few things you should know. First, it's an old boarding house with lots of stairs. You're staying on the top floor so you will have to carry your luggage up 5 flights of stairs. You have the entire space to yourself but Irene lives on the main floor. You're on the 3rd floor. There is laundry but it's in the basement and Irene charges 3 francs. Well worth it and you have pretty much exclusive access. The view is incredible and there is a little deck you can stand on and take in the view. Kitchen is new and has everything you need. Irene even left some bread, cheese, meats and yogurt out for me. The location is on a giant hill but so is most of Switzerland so nothing out of the ordinary. There is a small store up the street but most things require a vehicle to get around.

I had the second opportunity to stay in this beautiful apartment and I feel at home everything always clean and well organized I recommend 100% for its comfort and for its host. Thank you for everything

Vreni’s apt. Was perfect for my wife and I and I will definitely return on my next visit. Her home is centrally located making it easy to walk to most anything in Gais and it was easy to visit Appenzell by car and train. Also easy to get into St Gallen. From the moment you enter the apt you can feel the history and warmth of this home. Best AirBnB home I have been in while visiting Switzerland. Thank you Vernice, Danke!!
