Tradition meets modern The Kutscherhaus, part of a historic courtyard ride, located in the charming wine village of Hattenheim am Rhein. The modern wooden house, clad in a natural slate, is located on a historical vaulted cellar. The open living-dining area is equipped with a "kitchen workbench", dining table, 2-seater sofa and "Bullerofen". Bathroom with shower and toilet and an outdoor shower in the romantic courtyard. The sleeping area on the upper floor can be reached via a steep staircase (see picture).

The first parts of the estate were built in 1824. The suite (approx. 70 square meters) with veranda (16 square meters) was added and expanded in 2007. The rooms are lovingly equipped and offer everything your heart desires: in winter cuddly hours in front of the fireplace, in summer relaxing evenings with a glass of wine on the porch. We focused on a relaxed and inviting atmosphere to linger in the furnishings. The suite offers peace and quiet and the fully glazed fireplace room invites you to dream.

Atmospheric living in old village school in Taunus

Hohenstein is not a transit point and is very quiet at about 360 m altitude. Nearest EK stores are 3.5 km away. The castle Hohenstein (over 800 years old, 150 m away) offers castle festivals for six weeks in the summer and is open daily from 10.00 to 18.00 for. Three beautiful golf courses are about 25 minutes away. The hiking trails "Rheinsteig", "Burgensteig", "Wispertal" and the "Rheingau-Riesling-Route" can be reached quickly. Guests with bikes get their money's worth, e-bikes would be great.

The flat is located in Eltville near the vineyards, in walking distance (20 min walking, 5 min by bike) to the river Rhein and the picturesque village. The flat has access to a spacious garden (a summer kitchen/ lounge area) as well as a patio at the entrance. Inside you will find a bedroom (1 single and 1 double bed) as well as a desk for remote working. The living room/kitchen has an additional sofa bed fo two people. We always loved to travel and enjoy hosting people from around the world.

Beim Einrichten haben wir großen Wert auf Nachhaltigkeit gelegt. Bestehendes wurde auf- und umgearbeitet. Ein Großteil der Leuchten, Textilien sowie die Bilder stammen aus unserem Atelier. Dadurch bekommt die offene Architektur ihren besonderen Stil sowie den freundlichen und eigenen Charakter.
