Places to stay in Rangely

This place was great for our small family. We came to the area to visit dinosaur national monument. The location is ideal. The entrance to the monument is just a few minutes away. We enjoyed waking up to beautiful sunrises in this quiet place. The suite was clean and cozy. We would definitely return.

Just what we needed for two nights on our road trip. Very conveniently located to explore Dinosaur National Monument. Celia was friendly and helpful. It’s a tiny little town but we enjoyed our stay.

The perfect location to get into units 10, 11. Great option to stay out of the public lands for hunting farther north 2, 3. Close to Maybell for fuel. Stunning view of the mountains. Tyler offers guided hunts for Elk, and Mountain Lions as well. Super easy to get ahold of. Do not follow the directions to get to this address. It takes you almost 3 miles away. Off of 40 at mile marker 41 you turn to a gate that’s got a lighted sign that says Z/C cattle. There is another gate half way up the mile and a half long driveway. It gets slick so if it’s bad weather or muddy you will probably need 4x4 to get back there. All worth it.

The King Cabin was a great place to stay during my 10 day work trip. The room was clean and comfortable. I would recommend the King Cabin for anyone looking for lodging in Rangely.

My family had a fun stay in the Dinosaur themed suites. They were very clean and new. The beds were comfortable and my kids had a great time on the playground and with the Dinosaur decor. It was peaceful location and really close to the Dinosaur National Monument. The Quarry Exhibit Hall was incredible and a must see! This is a a great get-away place to stay!

I am never quite sure how to rate these different properties, since they are not all comparable. However, this was definitely as advertised. It was very quiet and clean. The neighborhood was very safe. No real problems to report.
