Altefähr - seaside resort on Rügen on the Strelasund

The seaside resort of Altefähr is located on Germany's largest island of Rügen, on the Strelasund and connected almost all year round by ferry directly to the historic harbor town of Stralsund opposite. The house is part of the Sonnengarten vacation park, just two years old and with the most modern amenities. Our semi-detached house has over 80 square meters on two floors, making it the largest house type, with space for five people. Altefähr is a place for water sports, anglers, any form of active vacation - and beach.

Our exceptional and very spacious apartment (180 sqm) is located in a renovated attic in the heart of the old town. It offers plenty of space for 6 adults. The open ground floor with kitchen, living area, dining area, library, guest toilet and terrace invites you to relax. The upper floor houses 3 large bedrooms, one with an ensuite bathroom, as well as 1 additional bathroom. In two of the bedrooms, a baby crib or a folding bed for older children can be set up (€10/extra bed/night).

A beautiful, modern and rustic, low-energy half-timbered house with thatched roof, Moroccan tiles, oak floorboards and clay plaster walls awaits you. For activities there is a beautiful large garden with a forest swing, free steam sauna, outdoor shower and tub, a standup paddle, a paddle boat and 4 bicycles.

Gurvitz vacation home

Hofgut Gurvitz is a district of Rambin, in the quiet southwest of the beautiful island of Rügen. Surrounded by fields right on the edge of the Western Pomerania Lagoon Area National Park, far away from main roads, you can enjoy the silence and nature of the island. From the terrace you have a panoramic view of the Strelasund, the Kubitzer Bodden, as well as the Hiddensee lighthouse on the horizon at night. Built in 2019, the house sits on the edge of a small vacation home area and has a large terrace. The lovingly furnished bedrooms are each equipped with a large bed, TV and dresser. In the bathroom on the upper floor there is a rain shower and a bathtub with fantastic views. The spacious dining area in the basement with fireplace invites you to relax. We rent our cozy, stylish vacation home in the quiet west of Rügen. Our daughter calls it "Familienkate Schwalbenflug" [Swallow Flight Family Cottage], and that fits. There are 4 bedrooms available for adults and children. The house was thoroughly renovated by 2020, has a modern kitchen and two beautiful shower rooms, a sitting area with fireplace and a terrace overlooking the riding stable and horse paddock.

The original character has been preserved, but the furnishings are contemporary and modern.
