We loved this place. It was comfortable from the minute we walked in the door. The bedrooms were so cozy. The house clean and neat. The host responded quickly to messages and seemed eager to make sure we had everything we needed. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. We would definitely stay here again.

I really enjoyed my stay . It’s the perfect location to enjoy the downtown area within walking distance. A classic breakfast sandwich just a few feet away and coffee across the street. It was super clean and comfortable:)

I had a fantastic time at Jesse’s place. The room was clean, quaint and cozy. It was the perfect place to come rest after hiking all day! Checking in and out was super simple. I am someone who likes to cook at home and the kitchen amenities were great for fixing waffles or making something simple like Hamburger Helper; some utensils like knives and peelers are not present if you want to cook something more complex. There’s a Family Dollar across the way though. I credit my stay at Jesse’s as part of my success in completing the Virginia Crown and I am super grateful!

Joe's Place was a great place to spend the weekend in Blacksburg. Joe was very responsive, example-we got there a bit early and Joe generously let us in. Electronic keypad on door made coming and going very easy. It was well appointed, with enough kitchen items, clean linens and towels. Furniture and beds were comfortable. It was not cluttered but decorated in fun VT Hokie football items-a true fan would enjoy. Definitely a great place for a guys sports weekend, especially being on that side of town with a short drive to the stadiums. Thank you Joe!

We enjoyed our stay at The Mill! The suite was far more spacious than we expected. Be sure to sleep with the windows open because the sound of the river reminds you of the beautiful setting in this charming town. The bed was very comfortable and there’s even a sitting area in the bedroom. We enjoyed morning coffee in front of the picture windows that provided a stunning view. We loved the restoration story and handmade features. Marcia was very easy to communicate with and made sure we were comfortable.

Absolutely love staying at Debra’s place. She is very accommodating and excellent communication. Super close to Virginia Tech. Home away from home!!!

Beautiful views and surroundings. Great back deck to enjoy the area. House was well set up and kitchen had everything we needed, and appreciated the coffee! Rebecca was super helpful and responsive….we had a great getaway!

As always, Cindy and Mitch were the perfect hosts. From the moment you walk through the door, you feel right at home at Brushy Fork Haven. Cindy takes the time to make sure your stay is perfect by having extra blankets and pillows available, a great selection of DVD's if the Roku TV isn't enough, a variety of games for family game night, a well appointed kitchen for cooking and baking (if you choose to), as well as extra necessities in the bathroom in the event that you forgot anything. You literally have to walk in the house and unwind - because even Walmart in Mount Airy will deliver your groceries to the front door. You will never be disappointed at Brushy Fork Haven!

Our family of 4 had a wonderful stay at Emily's lovely and bright airbnb. It was the perfect place to kick-off our 2-week road trip. Emily kindly allowed us to check in an hour early. This allowed us to eat an early dinner before heading out to see the Roanoke star on a day when storms were forecast for the evening. Luckily, we avoided any storms. Seeing the star was lots of fun! On the way back to the airbnb, we stopped off for some fro-yo at Sweet Frog, conveniently located just 5 minutes from Emily's place. Then our family enjoyed playing some ping-pong before calling it a night. Everything was so clean, and the beds were very comfortable. The backyard is filled with birdsong, and the neighborhood is very peaceful. We felt very at home here, and we'd definitely return here if in the area again.

If you’re looking for a true escape from the city, Susan and Dave’s place is the perfect choice! The cabin is chic, spotless, and spacious , and the surroundings feel straight out of a fairytale. Susan and Dave are warm, welcoming, and excellent communicators. We’d love to come back and highly recommend this magical getaway!

Almost, Almost Heaven was truly like a little slice of Heaven. The scenery outside is beautiful. Inside is open, clean and very spacious. The hosts have truly thought of everything in all the fine details such as the motion activated night lights and having everything labeled and precise, clear instructions. I would highly recommend to anyone needing a quiet peaceful home away from home.

This is my second time staying in this fantastic cabin and one more time we had an amazing weekend here. The view is beautiful, very relaxing, the beds are very comfy and love the fact that we had everything we need in here. Matthew thank you so much for sharing your cabin with us. stayed here for the VT vs Marshall football game. everything was great, easy to get in, simple instructions a few nice perks when we arrived. the house was perfect for the weekend. it is located really close to campus in a quiet neighborhood. i would stay there again.

I had an amazing stay at this Airbnb! The condo was spotless, spacious, and beautifully maintained, making it feel like a home away from home. The hosts were accommodating and ensured everything was perfect for my stay. One of the best parts was the location—there were plenty of fantastic restaurants and bars within walking distance, making it easy to enjoy great food and nightlife. Whether you’re looking for a relaxing getaway or a fun-filled trip, this place is ideal. I highly recommend it and will definitely be back!

This unit was quite comfortable and nicely appointed, with original artwork displayed in all rooms except the kitchen (this was a nice touch). Situated on the main level, it did not require using an elevator or climbing stairs to enter, yet because of the sloping lot, the windows were still well above grade and so was quite secure and relatively private. The queen bed was quite comfortable - not too soft or firm - with ample pillows and extra blankets. The shower was quite nice - ample pressure, hot water, and overhead clearance. The HVAC system is powerful and responsive, and ceiling fans improve ventilation even further. The kitchen stove heats up very quickly for an electric range. The dishwasher is on the loud side, so it's best to run it when you're not going to be around. Kitchen equipment and staple seasonings were adequate for simple meal preparations.

Super cute place! Very comfortable. Had everything we needed for a great Musication weekend. Hosts were very responsive and friendly. We hope to stay here again. Thank you for your service to our country, George!
