Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Rio de Janeiro

A beautiful space with amazing views. My family of seven had more than enough room. We arrived at 2am and had no issues accessing the home. There was a 24/7 security Marco was wonderful and was always up waiting for us. The house is located in a quiet residential area. people were friendly and we were close to everything We used uber to go everywhere it was super inexpensive. The kitchen was well-equipped and l was able to cook meals for a large group. The hosts were easy to communicate with and very responsive to all concerns l loved the peace and serenity this home provided during our stay in Brazil. Thanks to our hosts

The stay was simply phenomenal! The space fulfills everything it promises and delivers exactly what is in the listing. Bruno is an exceptional host! His house managers Jardel and Dora are the most caring people! They truly made the difference in our stay. Oh, and the breakfast every morning was the cherry on top. Anytime we needed help, they were always willing to go the extra mile. My friend even accidentally left her phone in the van from the airport and Bruno was able to coordinate with the drivers to retrieve it for her. We were so grateful to have him! Our group of 6 had a fantastic time in Rio at this Air B&B. Highly recommend staying here!

Andre was a truly amazing host. He lives nearby and treated us more like friends than guests. We were even invited to his birthday party — an unforgettable and authentic dive into Brazilian culture. The home is located about 1.5 kilometers up a rocky dirt road, with a 300-meter elevation gain — which probably makes a huge difference during the hot season. The views of the granite mountains are stunning, and you really feel immersed in nature. Monkeys are frequent guests There are fantastic hiking trails nearby, including one that leads to a waterfall, and I especially recommend the trail to Chinesa Vista — one of the most breathtaking views of the city from above. It’s about a 30-minute walk each way and a great little workout

Excellent stay. Exactly as described. The host and his family were very hospitable and kind to us. To enter the place, we need to go through the kitchen, but it did not affect privacy at all, because the place is separate from the house. We kept a copy of the keys, which gave us even more privacy. Clear instructions, before and during the stay. Wonderful location, very close to the subway, R. Nelson Mandela (full of restaurants), Casa Firjan, Casa Rui Barbosa, pharmacies, supermarket, bakeries, snack bars. Hot shower, hair dryer, comfortable bed, clothesline, hangers available. Clean bathroom. And there was plenty of cold water available in the refrigerator, which made a big difference to us. The house is in a safe, quiet and very peaceful village. There is a door in the bedroom that opens onto a balcony, we left it open at bedtime and it was very cool. It was a great experience, we intend to come back more often.

We had a wonderful stay at Luiza’s beautiful Ipanema apartment! 🌴✨ The space is exactly as shown in the photos—light, stylish, and incredibly peaceful, just a stone’s throw from the beach and close to great bars and restaurants. Luiza was an exceptional host—friendly, communicative, and very accommodating. We arrived a couple of hours early, and she kindly let us drop off our bags so we could start exploring straight away. She also gave us fantastic local recommendations that really added to our Rio experience. We’d definitely love to stay here again—thank you, Luiza, for making our time in Rio so memorable! 🌊🌞

It was wonderful to stay at Carlos' property, we felt at home, super proactive, he gave us several tips, the place is great and easy to access to several places, just get off and walk on the sand, very good!!!

Love it! Next time I visit Rio this place will be my first pick. I found the place bigger than what the photos showed and closer to the beach than we thought it would be. Bruno was flexible with check-in times and also with us deciding last minute to extend our trip for a couple more days. Book without worries!

Wonderful accommodation! Very well located, very close to the beach and next to pharmacies, markets, bars and restaurants. We were very well received, check-in was easy and fast. The apartment was clean and impeccable. In addition to being completely renovated and automated, the apartment is comfortable and cozy. The bed is delicious and so is the shower! My 2-year-old son slept on the sofa bed all night, passed out :) Considerations: because it is on the 2nd floor above a bar, it is a little noisy at night. However, it didn't bother us at all, and with white noise didn't bother my son either. We'll be back more often for sure!

Great location, one minute walk to Copacabana beach. Fabiana is very friendly and gave me lots of recommendations. The place is nice and clean, looked exactly like the photos, and has 24/7 front desk staff. Street can be a bit noisy but not until late and it was carnival season. Fabiana also helped me accurately with an issue that occurred (out of her control). Would definitely recommend.

Eduardo and Camille's flat is amazing and we had a perfect stay. With a breathtaking view, the place is beautifully decorated and spotless clean. The hosts are also very kind and responsive. I felt right at home and I will for sure be going back. 10/10.

Great place to stay, accommodates 9 people very well, we don't use the kitchen much but it's very well-equipped, very good showers with hot water, it's in a great location, there are a lot of restaurants, cafes, supermarket, pharmacy, the beach, everything is close, you don't hear the noise from the street.

The apartment is exactly as described, it has all the amenities for a great stay (including for long stays). Excellent location, one block from the beach and close to shops (market, pharmacy, bakery, restaurants, etc.). Communication with Joaquim was very quick and clear, he was always very polite. On an upcoming trip to RJ, I'll stay in the same apartment!

It's among the best stays I've had in Rio. Diego is very attentive, he made sure to answer all my questions and gave support when necessary. The apartment is faithful to the photos, the doormen are very polite and the location is perfect, close to shops, restaurants and the beach.

We felt completely comfortable in the apartment. It corresponds exactly to the pictures and stretches over three floors, which gives it a very special spatial effect. The location on the 13th floor takes some getting used to at first - mainly because of the floor-to-ceiling, fully opening windows - but you are rewarded with a spectacular view. Both the bedroom and the living room offer impressive panoramic views that make the stay a special experience. A small downside: There is a busy road nearby, the noise of which you can hear – especially when the window is open. The area scores with an excellent infrastructure: in just about 10 minutes on foot you can reach the vibrant nightlife with a wide selection of restaurants and bars. Everyone will find something to their liking here – whether for eating or for a relaxing drink in the evening.
