Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Quelfes

Wir waren leider nur zwei Nächte in dieser wunderschönen Wohnung, wären gerne länger geblieben!! Man muss aber wissen, dass die Wohnung nicht direkt in Faro, sondern in Estoi ist (ca. 20 Min. mit dem Auto entfernt). Der Ort ist aber dafür sehr ruhig, schön und richtig portugiesisch.

Eine Ode an Christians Haus in Olhão: Liebevoll, stilvoll und hochwertig renoviertes Haus. Es ist absolut zentral, dennoch ruhig gelegen und verfügt über eine großartige Dachterrasse. Reduktion auf das hochwertige Wesentliche: Ohne TV, Grill, Klimaanlage und Kaffeemaschine (braucht man alles sowieso nicht), dafür mit exquisit ausgestatteter Küche, um die Käufe der nur einen Steinwurf entfernten Markthalle (die beste der Algarve) frisch zu verarbeiten! Kostenlose Parkplätze in der unmittelbaren Umgebung sind jederzeit verfügbar! Christian ist ein toller, super symphatischer und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber, der nebenbei ein außergewöhnlich gutes Sauerteigbrot bäckt, welches er mittwochs lokal auf einem kleinen Markt verkauft. Seine Haushälterin ist keine Perle – sie ist ein ganzer Schatz! Wir wollen unbedingt dort wieder hin!

Nice and clean apartment. Somewhat outside the city center, but at walkable distance (20 min.). Free, safe parking on site. Nice pool and terrace area. Aldi shop one minute away (walking). Very easy communication with Priscilla.

La maison pour débrayer, dans la simplicite, ressourçante. Elle est très bien équipée en vaisselle, linge de maison, on a l’împression d’arriver chez des amis qui ont tout laissé à disposition. Le grand plus est cette belle plage à 2 pas . C’est juste passé trop vite

Notre hôte étais très accueillant et réactif en cas de demande. Manque juste un miroir dans chaque chambre pour les femmes et une tablette dans la salle de bain pour poser les trousses. Sinon tout est parfait. Merci

Beautiful modern well equipped house in quiet location but only a few minutes walk to the central market area with some lovely restaurants. The roof terrace is wonderful and you can sunbathe or chill in the shade whatever your preference. Responsive host. Would highly recommend.

This place was amazing and Carmen was there to help us during the entire stay. Amazing heated pool and the beer machine was of great help.

Great, just exactly as advertised, just be wary if you’re coming in the summer time it gets noisy until 11pm. But if your out eating it won’t matter

We loved our stay in this apartment - quiet, safe neighbourhood and easy to walk into the centre & train station. Very well-equipped, clean & comfortable and the roof terrace is a fantastic bonus. Joao was very welcoming and helpful at check-in and with recommendations during our stay.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à Ohlao. L'appartement était parfait, nous nous sommes sentis comme chez nous! Le logement est très soigné, refait à neuf, il y a tout l'équipement nécessaire. C'est au calme. L'emplacement est idéal, en plein cœur du centre-ville, ce qui permet de tout faire à pied. Nous avons été séduits par Olhao, sa tranquillité et la douceur de vivre. La terrasse est très agréable pour prendre l'apéro et offre une belle vue sur la ville et sur le clocher duquel on peut observer les cigognes! Marie-Ange est une hôte très sympathique et réactive. C'est une excellente adresse pour découvrir l'Algarve, nous la recommandons vivement!

Era Mar Apartments is a fantastic place to stay in Faro. My husband and I loved how close we were to restaurants and markets. Because of the quality of windows, you wouldn't know you are in the middle of old town Faro. Then, when you want to be outside and soak in the energy, there are three different outside areas to enjoy the sun, coffee and dry your clothes. Tatiana was super helpful with local recommendations, and, specifically an awesome vegan restaurant called Outro Lado. A must-try place if you are plant-based or not. Thanks again to Tatiana for hosting us while we explored the Algarve coast. 🙏

A beautiful tiny home in an idyllic setting! Fatima is an excellent host, very warm and welcoming. The fresh orange juice made onsite was a highlight, and the gardens spanning the property were lovely. Photos can’t quite capture the magic! The space is very small, so is certainly cozy for two people plus luggage. The kitchen is helpful for simple meals. We were provided with ample towels and comfortable sheets. Also, there is a tourist tax to be payed in cash during your stay that is not included in the Airbnb charge. The property is in a rural setting, but within driving distance to numerous towns, including Tavira and Fuseta. We enjoyed a fresh fish dinner in Fuseta at a restaurant recommended by Fatima.

Raquel is one of the most communicative and responsive hosts I’ve ever interacted with on Airbnb. The location of this home is unbelievable. I fell in love with Albufeira from the first few hours i was there, and couldn’t believe how well-situated this place was to all the fun the area has to offer. ACs and most amenities worked well. I’m not sure if it’s a design related to homes in that area, but the open bathroom in the master bedroom, including the shower design, seemed impractical. I needed to rearrange items in that area, and wipe the floor/toilet after every shower. The iron was unusable due to a stain on the ironing surface, and risk of damaging clothes. The washing machine was small and not very effective. We needed to do a lot of loads to clean our clothes, then air dry them, but glad we had a washer! Overall, this is a great place, Raquel’s a great host, and i recommend booking, for anyone visiting Albufeira. Great for 2 ppl, but could accommodate a couple more too. Enjoy!

The appartement was all we could ask for! Fabio made us feel at home. It was an amazing stay! I would greatly recommend it to anyone wishing to enjoy Faro’s old town.

Maria was a great host and so helpful with anything requested. We had an issue with the lobby entrance of the building and she resolved this by communicating with the building management. We had a great time in the accomodation and felt relaxed for our week abroad with the children

Fabulous location! Beach, amazing boardwalk, and town very near, just lots of stairs! But that is beautiful Portugal! Views from porch were fantastic; everything you needed was in the kitchen and it was a very welcoming place. We didn’t use the pool, but it is a good size and well maintained. Master shower is a bit tight, but a big beautiful bath is 5 steps away, so really no big deal. I would definitely book here again if the opportunity arises!

Die gesamte Wohnung war sehr sauber und wie auf den Fotos gemütlich und modern eingerichtet. Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt und die Pools bieten eine tolle Alternative zum schönen Strand um die Ecke. Direkt vor der Tür sind einige Restaurants und Bars sowie ein Supermarkt, super praktisch. Die Parksituation ist sehr entspannt. Wir empfehlen Karines Wohnung gerne weiter und hatten eine tolle Zeit vor Ort!

We had a fantastic week in Elisa’s apartment, the view is beautiful! So lovely to see and hear the sea everyday. It’s a short walk into town with lots of great bars and restaurants, we also easily got parked nearby. Elisa was a great host, very responsive and I recommend reading her blog with loads of great recommendations for exploring the algarve. Thank you Elisa!

We had a amazing time staying at Gavin and Amanda’s property. They were flexible with our arrival time allowing us to check in early, as Gavin met as upon arrival and showed us around the apartment, informing us with all the information we could require as well as recommending some great locations for day trips. The apartment was in perfect condition, exactly as described and matching the photos provided. The kitchen also had more than we could possibly need, with a cupboard containing a variety of spices so that we could easily do our own cooking, as well as other essentials such as, dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid, all sorts of kitchen utensils, and milk and bottled water left for us in the fridge. The location was perfect, a 10 min walk away from supermarkets, and a 5 min walk to local restaurants and the markets. I would really recommend this apartment to anyone booking a holiday in portugal as it is also very close to faro, only a €15 uber away! Thank you, we loved our stay!

From the moment we arrived, we felt incredibly welcome – Anita and Antonio had left a generous guest pack including ham, cheese, wine, milk, water, biscuits and crisps, which was a lovely and thoughtful touch after our journey. The apartment itself is bright, spotless, and has spectacular views across the beach – which, pleasantly, wasn’t too busy during our stay. The location is excellent, with a great selection of bars and restaurants just a short walk away. Anita and Antonio were outstanding hosts – friendly, responsive, and clearly committed to making sure their guests have everything they need. Their detailed information pack was really helpful, and they were always quick to answer any questions we had. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this apartment – it’s a perfect base for a relaxing stay in Praia da Rocha. Thank you, Anita and Antonio, for your warm hospitality and kindness!

Maura our host was really helpful and responded to all queries. She welcomed us at the arranged arrival time and talked us through everything we needed to know. The apartment was really lovely and spotlessly clean. Maura provided a list of recommendations such as places to visit and local restaurants and welcomed us with a selection of local produce. We would thoroughly recommend.
