Lillian's Retreat

Lillians Retreat was built at the height of the goldrush. Over the years it has succumbed to the ravages of time, however the restoration of this grand home has now commenced a room at a time. Its a one-of-a-kind house and a short stroll to the centre of town, the heritage listed Civic Club, and Lissner Park. You are welcome to enjoy this once beautiful home, and see how the work is being undertaken to restore it to its former glory. At this time there is only stair access to this house.

The whole group will enjoy easy access to everything they need from this large country styled home with only a 10min walk to the town center. This spacious and well-equipped house is ideal for traveling families, groups of contract workers or for short-term work trips up to 3 weeks. Counrty Palms has a comfortable outdoor dining table and patio, a generous fully fenced yard with a lush oasis garden, plus a large spacious driveway area to park vehicles inside and outside the house yard.

Country Home on Hackett

We are a country family with boarding school kids who are happy to offer our home out to old friends and new. It’ll be like staying with your relatives, minus the tedious conversation;-)) The sheets may not match, the decor will not feature in House & Garden, but everything will be clean and fully functional. We are in a great position for anyone needing to park up a large vehicle. Our pantry is yours, but please replenish or leave some cash in our “Dosh for Grub” jar.

Come and enjoy your stay at our peaceful two-bedroom garden cottage. The location is central 1km to the CBD, cafés, restaurants, and supermarkets. Centenary Park and bus stop are within walking distance. . We have renovated and decorated this genuine old town cottage so you can lay back and relax. Our two rooms are fully airconditioned and share a bathroom. The big wooden windows allow a glimpse into the colorful garden.
