Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Queen Anne's County

Beautiful location and the bikes, kayaks and fire pit all added fun and relaxation to our stay! Close enough to Chestertown to enjoy the farmers’ market and shopping and far enough out to be a peaceful retreat.

Probably the cleanest rental I have ever stayed in. Pleasant, helpful host... Great layout for multiple groups, especially if you have kids, given that the two living spaces are separate - we could do TV in one, read&music in the other, etc.. very, very comfy beds. Rock Hall was fun, as was the neighboring town of Chestertown.. multiple options for amazing live crabs, but our favorite was Clarks, about 15 minute drive away .. Try Flying Decoy (walking distance) for great burgers and pasta, Harbor Shack for okay food and a great, laidback vibe on the water.. The only thing I hesitated on was to do 4 or 5 stars for 'location', because you're over a mile from the little beach, which we enjoyed a few days during our stay... but given you can walk into town for ice cream, donuts and the main market and how reasonably priced the house considering how big and comfortable is, we thought 5 stars across the board was warranted. The house was a perfect for our stay to attend our daughter’s wedding. It was peaceful and quiet but still close to the venue and amenities. The open living, dining, and kitchen area made it easy to host the bride’s six friends for a wedding morning get together. It was lovely to sit on the dock and enjoy the water in the evening. Leandros was responsive to emails and he provided everything that you could possibly need while there. Thank you!

A wonderful place to Get-away, have a working vacay, appreciate the outdoors. It's quiet and rests the eyes. Our family agreed that this home is like a ski chalet not on a mountain but rather in Miniature America Maryland on a river. Would love to return.

A wonderful stay at Stephen's place for our son's USNA commissioning. Although he lives in the 2nd floor, he was very respectful of our space - we hardly knew that he was there. He was very responsive when you needed him and helped us to host a gathering of friends and family to celebrate at his beautiful home on the water. Highly recommend.

Had a wedding at the Chesapeake yacht club and its location worked great! Beat staying in a noisy hotel. Loved sitting on the dock. Very quiet place to relax. House looks small but that is deceiving. Place has room for everyone to Find their own quite relaxing space.

Incredible, serene home with thoughtful design and furnishings. Our family loved the house, which served as a great space to gather over meals, games and stories. The deck on two sides of the house, with great seating, provided a gentle welcome to the nature around with harbor views in the distance. As seasoned Eastern Shore folks, this was an introduction to Rock Hall, which we really enjoyed, especially the refuge. It was an extremely lovely apartment overlooking the beautiful Chester River! The apt was spotless, warm, inviting & had lots of amenities. Walter was beyond helpful: he rescued me when my rental car broke down out of town on the highway in the rain. You can’t ask for more than that!! Thank you for a wonderful stay!!

This place was really great! It looked like the pictures and was exactly as described. Where it excelled was going past that. The small details that we didn't expect. Kim really thought of everything and it felt like going to a friend's house that really pulled out all the stops. She set bikes out for us to use. There were beach chairs, a cooler backpack, picnic blanket all available for us to use. There was a snack basket for us. A gallon of water and water bottles in the fridge. The kitchen was fully stocked with anything we could ever need. The bathroom had extra toothbrushes and other things we may have forgotten. The area was very nice and the sunsets at the beach were beautiful!! If you read this far, stop, just book it already!

When they say Restful ... they meant it. It was so peaceful and a very nice neighborhood. We stayed for 4 nights and were able to go to all the beautiful towns and natural beauty around. Close to St. Michaels, Easton, Cambridge. Wonderful hosts. With out own deck next to a lovely water feature. The bed was king size and perfect! I would recommend this to anyone. We will be back. My boyfriend and I stayed here this past weekend for a wedding at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club. The airbnb was a 2 minute drive from the venue. Karin was extremely responsive and such a wonderful host. She ensured our stay was enjoyable and provided local recommendations for us. I never had a problem getting in touch with her and their space was spotless. They provided linens, a coffee maker, snacks, and more! We will definitely stay here again if the opportunity presents itself. Would give more than 5 stars if I could!

I can't say enough good things about this property and Dana. The apartment was pristine and adorably decorated with coastal decor. The bedding was beautiful and comfortable. The property itself is just stunning and beautiful, and Dana was incredibly responsive. She provided coffee, bottled water and local treats as well. Chef's kiss. I only wish we could have stayed longer! I hope we have a reason to come back in the future.

This spot is a very utilitarian unit but perfect for my dog and me. Very easy to walk to town, the bed was very comfortable and it was great having access to the backyard.

It is the right distance from town to be able to get there easily but also have peace and quiet during the evening/night.

Caitlin is the best host I've experienced when using airbnb. She was always proactive in reaching out and made us feel at home. She had snacks and drinks available which was very thoughtful. This is the perfect option for staying in the area and walkable to many restaurants. The basement apartment was clean and had everything needed.
