A Highland Hideaway! 7 Blocks from Seattle Center and the New Climate Pledge Arena: Home to Music Concerts and The Seattle Kraken! Tickets to home hockey matches can be arranged! We are looking for those who want to enjoy the comforts of home, but be on vacation. We are close to all the best parts of Seattle- 8 blocks to the Seattle Center, 2 blocks to the 3/4 Bus Line, and walking distance to Downtown, the Theater, the Opera, Ballet, Concerts at Key Arena, Yummy Restaurants and much much more! Though it is important to note we are on a hill and all the sites are down the hill (its coming hone that is tough). The unit comes fully furnished (coffee pot!) and all everything you would need whether staying for a few nights, a week, or even a few months. Professional are also welcome to enjoy a home away from home while traveling on business or relocating for an extended period of time. Guests have access to the entire backyard and their own private space with bedroom (queen bed), full (bathtub and shower) bathroom, kitchen, laundry, and office space. This space has a Key Pad for entry, No key is needed and each guests is provided with a unique code to entry with check in instructions. We are happy to provide any information and guidance while in Seattle/staying at our place. Guests access the unit from the side yard. We will have as much as as little interaction as you want. We will check on you once you arrive and usually say goodbye. Then maybe see you throughout your stay. At anytime- knock on the front door for anything you need. = ) Queen Anne is one of the best places in Seattle. You can can walk to dinner, bars, and concerts. The neighbors are all very nice and this is very safe and comfortable area. Restaurants are down the hill on 5th Avenue North and Taylor Ave N. There is no need for a car- walk/bus/Uber are all the best options to get around the city. If you have a car, there is not an assigned parking spot. You can park free on the street. Most days you can park right in front or on the block. The Bus is just 2 blocks away. The 3 and 4 come about every 15 minutes. Uber and /or Lyft are also a great way to get around, as Car to Go. FROM THE AIRPORT! Transportation options. 1. Light Rail from airport to downtown. Cost is $3 a person. Once you get downtown you can grab a cab for about $6-8. To our place. You can also grab the bus. Bus will be $2.75 a person. Cash only. Light rail is our "subway" system. It runs from airport to downtown all day long. 2. Take a Taxi from airport to our area. This will be about $45-50. However you can look into "(URL HIDDEN) This is flat rate service to and from the airport that has to be pre booked. To our unit it is $32 plus gratuity. It is a "flat rate", which is guaranteed to be $32. 3. Take a Town car from airport to our area. This is about $75. Uber works but only the town car option. If you want Uber X then you need to meet them in a specific area. You can pick up Bus #3 and #4 from downtown location- Westlake Center. This is the last stop on the rail. ***However- I might recommend getting off the Light Rail 1 stop earlier at University to avoid the crazy last stop. It is much easier and hotels are right there to grab a cab from too. Or Bus #3/4 are also available right above the platform. #3/4 comes 2 blocks from us on Taylor and Prospect. Just walk up the hill 2.5 blocks! So pack ok to walk the hill. = ) Bus only takes exact change and it is $2.50 a person most of the time- during peak hours it is $2.75. Taxi is great b/c it is door to door- but of course it is the cost. As is Uber or other reserved car service. A taxi will get you here much faster- about 30 min or less. Light Rail and Bus will take a good hour and a half after you get your gear- plus walking to the rail. The light rail does show you some of the sights- so it is a nice way to "come into the city". So depending on when u fly in and check in timing- this can be great option. Light rail info: sound transit website Bus info: King county metro website Getting around the city is easy and we are 1 mile away from the market and stuff. To the stadiums you can take bus/light rail. Or a cab. Renting a car is good if you are going to explore the outer areas of Seattle. Otherwise it is best to use taxis and uber to get around, so you don't have to deal with high parking prices, finding a parking spot and parking tickets. We are in the city. To rent- always check out Costcotravel if you are a member. Best deals! There is a Queen Bed and lots of extra bedding and towels for your use if you are a long term guest. A coffee pot is ready for your use with a starter kit of coffee, sugar and creamer. It's a full kitchen with all the tools you will need for cooking in if you want. Parking is usually quite accessible. We are located on a HILL- and during busy times you may have to park a block away. The hill is how we get our view. But you will want to consider that for parking and type of shoes to bring. = ) During winter months rain and snow can make our location a bit tougher. No permit is needed, it is free on the street. If you need the driveway for move in or move out- don't hesitate to ask.

Seattle Queen Anne Design Loft, Space Needle View

Take a moment to read the messages in the fun collection of art sketches hanging over the dining area. Floor-to-ceiling-windows ensure there's plentiful light, while nice touches include the letter and number textured 3D wall by the spiral staircase. The 100 years old historic structure with original wood floors and restored systems. The ceilings are insulated to minimize any noise to our guests, but occasional noise travel through, so for light sleepers’ earplugs and white noise machine are available in the loft. The Loft Unit is brand new! The upper level of the unit consists of a bedroom with queen bed, a kitchen, hard wood floors, and a bathroom. The lower level has a lounging space, hard wood floors, access to the backyard and view of Space Needle. To access the unit, walk down the steps and input provided key code at the door. You will have access through a private entrance to the unit I live in a unit attached to the one you will be staying in. I am available anytime you have questions or concerns. Your stay is self-checkin and the access code will be provided to you upon booking. Queen Anne Hill is an affluent neighborhood situated a long walk or short monorail trip from downtown. It's also an easy walk from the Space Needle. Nearby are Kerry Park, the Key Arena, the Seattle Science Center, and the Museum of Pop Culture. If arriving from the airport please take Uber, Lyft, Taxi. Also you can take light rail from the Airport to Downtown, from downtown Uber or Lift or bus #2, #13 from 3rd Ave and Pike street will take you very close to our location. Link light rail travels between UW Station and Angle Lake Station, making 14 stops along the way, including downtown Seattle and Sea-Tac Airport. Link trains run every 6, 10 or 15 minutes depending on the time of day. Service is available from 5 a.m. to 1 a.m. Many guests will arrive before the designated check-in time. The good news is that there is plenty to do. We often suggest that guests visit the Kerry park, walk on Queen Anne avenue and do some small shopping, or visit Seattle Centre. All locations are within walking distance form our home. There are also a few good restaurants for lunch so why not relax and enjoy some of the local food!

Detached Private Guest Cottage in Sought-After Neighborhood

This is a detached, completely private studio cottage. From the studs out remodel completed in 2014. It has a full travertine bathroom, washer dryer, full size kitchen appliances, miles of granite counter, work space, eating area, built in storage in closet, vaulted ceilings, queen bed. Free internet of course and Direct TV. Top of Queen Anne hill. Within half a block there is casual dining, Macrina Bakery, Bustle, Taco Shop, Targy’s Bar. Dry cleaning and Ken’s Market full grocery store also a half a block away. Full sized appliances, dishes, cookware, coffee pot, blender, and spices. Private outdoor courtyard with BBQ, eating and lounging areas. Private entrance to yard from off street alley parking for 1 car. Additional parking on street. We will be there if you need us but will set it up for you to come and go on your own. Since you're in our backyard, we're around in case you need any assistance. We will be happy to provide anything you need as far as special requests prior to your arrival and if you want special places to go we do have vast knowledge of everything fun to do!!! 6 blocks walk to Queen Anne Ave for all the shops, fine dining and nightlife. ½ mile walk to Kerry Park for the best view of Seattle in town. 1 ½ miles to lower Queen Anne and Seattle Center. Less than 3 miles to downtown and Pike Place Market. We are minutes from some of Seattle's best dining. My personal favorite restaurants within a five minute walk are: How to Cook a Wolf and Lloyd Martin. Groceries: Ken’s Market is on the corner but Safeway and Trader Joes are within a few blocks. Transportation: The #2 bus stop to Seattle Center and downtown core is on the corner, other bus lines are within a 3 block walk. There is a ZipCar at the 7-11 on Queen Anne Ave. There are usually Car2Go cars nearby. This is not only one of Seattle's more desirable and sought after neighborhoods we are also one of the safest neighborhoods. Walk six blocks to Queen Anne Ave for plentiful shops, fine dining, and nightlife. A little closer, Kerry Park has the best view of Seattle. Also not far away are lower Queen Anne and Seattle Center, as well as downtown and Pike Place Market.

Charming Secluded Guest Suite near Woodland Park

This secluded and very quiet, 370 sq ft in home apartment, space is nestled in the trees with a territorial view to the southwest. If you have an appreciation for hand crafted details this is the place for you: hand made windows, a bed frame made from salvaged fir bleacher seats, owner designed light fixtures, and traditionally crafted woodworking details throughout. The Chestnut stays cool in the summer and cozy in the winter with its heated concrete floors. Open all twelve windows south and west and you might think you’re in a treehouse. This space is thoughtfully designed as a restful retreat after a long day of exploring or hectic day of business travel. If you like to cook, the kitchen is complete with a gas range, a full size electric oven, microwave, under counter refrigerator/ freezer, farm style sink, and all the needed utensils. The Chestnut has its own secure entrance and private patio. It is accessible by stairs only. I am here and happy to help. Perched on the hilltop above the historic business district, the Chestnut provides easy access to Fremont neighborhood and many delicious restaurants and local shops. Look for the many public art pieces nearby or walk along the gorgeous ship canal. There are plenty of food options within walking distance and a number of buses that will easily take you downtown, east to the University district, west to Ballard, and north to greater North Seattle.
