Renovated Walzer house 15 mins by car from Alagna

Our chalet is a renovated "Walzer" style barn. We are a Belgian family with 3 children and a dog and love this remote quiet place in the Valsesia valley. We enjoy hiking in the mountains or just walking in the valley or swimming in the river that passes by on the back of our house. We love skiing in the nearby "Monte Rosa" or "Alpe di Mera" Ski domains (15 or 10 minutes respectively by car) and enjoy cooking with local produce savoring local wines (Gattinara, Ghemme, Barbaresco, Barolo, ...)

A beautiful, idyllic place in the middle of the mountains – perfect for switching off. The apartment was clean, tidy and there is a wood-burning stove. There was always plenty of wood. The terrace overlooking the valley and the surrounding mountains was a dream! Thanks to the awning, you also had a shady spot in the sun, ideal for relaxing. All around, the cows graze with cowbells. Massimo lives in the apartment above. You can hear it sometimes. The accommodation is very well equipped – it had everything you need. The path up to the hut is winding and narrow in places, but quite doable. It takes about 6 minutes by car to get down to the village, where there is a small mini-market, if you have forgotten something. A hike from Lago di Antrona to Lago di Campliccioli and around was really nice. A hike above the accommodation at Lago Alpe dei Cavalli is also worthwhile. You can even see ibexes. A really nice place to relax.

We spent wonderful days in Piode, a beautifully located place in the Alps, with many possibilities for excursions or mountain walks. The welcome was very cordial and warm; we immediately felt “at home”. The house is fantastic with a beautiful style. The garden is huge and beautiful to see and was a wonderful playground for our dogs. We'd love to come back here!

One of my favorite AirBnBs. The setting is beautiful and peaceful and close to many good restaurants in Omegna. The house is very comfortable with everything you need and the garden and terraces are wonderful to sit in/on. It is decorated nicely with fascinating old photos, documents and vintage travel souvenirs. Franco is an excellent host and communicator. We enjoyed our stay very much and wish it could have been longer. Next time!

The exterior of the house is framed by bare trees and a rustic wooden fence, creating a natural boundary between the property and the pathway. A grassy area dotted with fallen leaves can be seen, alongside the house which has a mix of dark wood and light-colored walls.

My boyfriend and I had a great time in Matteo's apartment. The apartment looks like it has been recently renovated, we found it very clean and with everything you need for the kitchen (including the essentials: sugar, salt, coffee...). We communicated only by message with Matteo who was quick and helpful, the grandfather (who lives in the apartment next door) checked us in and gave us all the directions. The welcome dinner offered in the nearby trattoria is also excellent. The apartment is in a group of houses just outside the village and you may need to use a car, but the valley offers many possibilities: walks, skiing, a craft brewery, cultural and artistic itineraries...

Everything was so perfect that it's hard to imagine!!!! The vineyards, the nature and the beautiful apartment with a very good test. Very friendly hosts!!! My husband and Fabrizio connected immediately and went out together for a bit of cycling. Fabrizio produces his own Nebbiolo, artisan wine, which is delicious!!!! Thank you so much, Fabrizio and Valentina, for this wonderful experience at Borgo Ca del Becca!!! I highly recommend it!!!!
