Family-friendly vacation rentals in qathet Regional District

We booked this place for a girl's weekend (and a local trail marathon) and were delighted with the house! Very clean, well-equipped kitchen, spacious living/dining room, EPIC patio with outdoor dining table and a clean, functioning hot tub overlooking the ocean. What more could you want? The place was quiet, a short drive away from town, and the hosts were friendly and responsive during the booking and check in process. Highly recommend!

Great place with very nice host. the hous is clean, well furnished and beautiful. the hosts are super helpful, communicate well and overall great. we loved the beachside location with the beautiful view. I would recommend to anyone!

Wendy's place was awesome! My family had a great time staying here for a week in late March, and found the place to be very comfortable, spacious and well-appointed. It was really nice to have a fully-stocked kitchen - even niche items like a cake mixer and vegetable steamer were available (indeed - baking cakes and steaming broccoli are both things we are known to do while on holiday 🙂). My kids also loved playing with the cool toys in the treasure chest in the main room, and picking out new books to read as bedtime stories from the shelves in their room upstairs. I would highly recommend this as a great accommodation for families on a Vancouver Island holiday.

We loved staying at Michelle’s place. It was very clean and relaxing and the place had all amenities as described. The hot tub was a special bonus after hiking and water sports. Michelle is very responsive and friendly. We would definitely book again!

The place was beautiful! Very spacious, we had lots of room for everyone. Having the beach so close was so amazing, my kids loved playing in the sand. The deck overlooking the property was breathtaking, especially with a morning coffee. Host had everything laid out nicely with lots of possible activities.

Wow, words cannot even describe the beauty of this place. We had such an amazing time and are thinking of coming back annually. Katy and Dave are lovely hosts who are nearby and very responsive. They kept the hot tub hot!! They sure have a slice of heaven on Earth 💗 thank you both so much

Had a nice time at Paul’s place! The space was perfect for a couple and has a great deck with a dining table, bbq and soft tub. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked. Loved that there was a dishwasher! Paul was very friendly and had two beautiful pups! Location is perfect for a day trip to Savary Island (close to the water taxi) and about a 15ish minute drive from Craig park (for disc golf!). We would stay here again! Thanks Paul!

Sally and Dale have such a BEAUTIFUL property - it was the perfect location for a girls’ bachelorette weekend. They were also such kind and responsive hosts, quick to respond to anything we needed, we truly felt right at home.

The location was quiet and felt nice and private. It has an amazing view of the ocean and a great deck to enjoy it on. The kitchen is big and well stocked. We had a great time

We couldn't ask for more! What an amazing stay with and even more wonderful host (plus dog company)! The cabin itself was lovely and cosy with everything that you could possibly need. Leah is incredibly friendly and welcoming and went above and beyond to make us feel instantly at home, providing us with recommendation and anything to help make our visit top class. It was such a lovely stay at Keitha’s cabin. It is located in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood close enough by the ocean. The cabin was charming with all the amenities you need for a get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The cabin is on her gorgeous property with access to a fire pit and yard space. We had a lovely stay here and would love return! Keitha was very responsive and kind and has two beautiful dogs who sometimes greeted us with wagging tails by the fence. It was wonderful! Always a great stay here. A beautiful 2 bedroom apartment with a nice grassy lawn for my dog. Gale was so friendly and checked in to make sure everything was going well. Was lovely to have coffee and eggs and cream and croissants for breakfast. Just outside of town so was peaceful and quiet but an easy drive in.

Overall bob's place is a great retreat if your looking for a quiet getaway. Area is nice and peaceful , close to the ferry andwalking distance to stores, pub/restaurant. Home is kept tidy and stocked with everything you need. Bob is prompt at answering any questions you may have. Would recommend for anyone looking to vacation on texada.

We had a great stay! The neighbourhood was very peaceful. We really enjoyed grilling on the Weber BBQ and appreciated the multiple fans available in the cottage. The pillows were some of the best I've slept on! My toddler said it was her favourite place that we've stayed. Thanks!

What a beautiful place to retreat into nature. The cabin is private and comfortable. Our small car easily managed the gravel road used to access the property. We loved being off the grid and listening to the frogs singing.

This is a place to touch, enter & experience beauty & goodness. I am dreaming of my next trip back here, in any season. For solitude & love alike, Saltwater Farm is a gift of extraordinary virtue.

Another month at what we’ve come to know as our second home. We’ve been renting this place, almost continuously since 2017. There’s a unique advantage to that. We get to see all the changes and improvements Danielle and Mark make every year. The place just gets better and better. If you enjoy cooking, this place is a must. This is one of the best equipped kitchens I’ve ever cooked in, better than mine and I’m a trained cook. Beyond that, every detail in the home has been thought through and nothing is missing. Danielle and Mark are great hosts who communicate well and can handle any situation with ease.

Great vibe , cozy, clean. Small details that are nice to have around like hand towels and stuff. Tranquil neighborhood, close to a nice little beach for watching mountains. Cynthia was a good communicator. Thank you again.

We had 2 nights in this scenic unit. The view from the deck and lawn was beautiful, the lulling of the waves was spectacular. We enjoyed the comfy deck and utilized the BBQ. Easy stroll to coffee and restaurants.

The cabin of your childhood dreams…sit back, relax, enjoy the lake and connect with family/friends. North Lake has fabulous swimming and almost no bugs. The cabin has a lovely view and lots of different areas to sleep. Lynne was a great host, very attentive and communicative. We had a lovely time, thanks Lynne.
