We felt very comfortable with Daria. The apartment is spacious and has everything you need for a longer stay. We particularly liked the garden, where you can sit and relax in peace. There are hiking opportunities directly from the house.

Tanja and her in-laws, who manage the cottage, are very friendly and helpful. The location is of course fantastic and the cottage very nice. It should be noted that the electricity is provided by generator and is only available at a very reduced rate (light) between 9 PM and 6 AM. The heating is a furnace heater, which is good to know at this altitude and the temperatures there. Communication was good. The journey can be a little intimidating if you are new to the mountains - the navigation system says 100 km/h on mountain roads and thus calculates the travel time earlier. But you're more likely to be traveling at 30-50 km/h. It's good to find your way

We visited for the 2nd time and again it was incredible! The house is simply beautiful on top of the mountain, with great views and every day the vultures that you see flying above you.

I had a fantastic stay in Sutrio, located at the foot of Monte Zoncolan, where I was able to do many bike rides to train. Grandma's apartment was new, clean and very spacious: there was enough room for luggage and bicycles. There was a local bar, a supermarket, a butcher shop and a bakery, all within a 300-meter walk from the apartment. I rode every day directly out the door and was able to visit Zoncolan, Sappada, Sauris, Tolmezzo, Chiusaforte, Ampezzo, Ovaro and many other surrounding towns and villages, even going beyond the border with Austria! Michael and his family were very kind and showed me the local carpentry workshop and even took me for a coffee at the local bar. I am very grateful for their hospitality and generosity and hope to return next year!

After a short meeting with Helmut, we drove up a large part of the mountain to the Enzianhütte. From there, we made an ascent together for about 30 minutes up to the Mauthner Alm. This was quite a challenge for us lowlanders (Lower Saxony), quite steep and close to the abyss, but with fantastic views. Kindly, Helmut even carried some of our luggage up. The location of the hut is really beautiful, a pure idyll with magnificent views in the midst of grazing cows, which often pay a visit. The hut is very spacious and comfortably furnished, you will find everything you need for a few days on the alpine pasture. The fact that we forgot our toothpaste in the car was not bad at all, as a call to the operators of the Enzianhütte was enough and the very friendly operators remedied the situation. You can also eat and drink very deliciously there. Overall it was an unforgettable experience that we would love to repeat.

Justine's review is absolutely spot on and so beautifully written, there is not much more we can offer other than a resounding endorsement! My husband and I were fortunate to have stayed in Silvio's lovely apartment for a week and could have happily remained for an entire month. Easily one of the most memorable, comfortable, and relaxing properties we've ever rented, and the perfect location for exploring the wonderful region of Friuli -Venezia Giulia. And if you need a change of cultural pace, be sure to enjoy the close-by enchanting nature preserve and mountain trails. Silvio and Nataly were exceptional hosts, only adding to the optimal level of our stay - do not hesitate to book and try to add a few extra days to soak in all that this delightful town and area have to offer - there's much more than prosciutto, as delicious as it is. We can't wait to return!

Nice quiet place. Close to the mountains and lake. I recommend it for rest. Good place for a family.

Mrs. Catia was really kind and helpful to us. His house and the fully fenced garden were in line with what we expected and respected the proposal offered on the site. Very well-kept interiors, comfortable, cozy and clean beds. Warm environment heated by a pellet stove. Equipped kitchen, utensils, comforts of all kinds available. If we really want to find a flaw, I could mention the extractor hood and its light that did not work and was not clean. But, I would recommend Catia's house for a wonderful vacation.
