Unbelievable stay! This place is spectacular! Our apartment was so spacious and had everything we needed - well stocked kitchen. Bed was very comfortable and air conditioning worked well to help with a good night sleep. Vincent and Millie were so nice - excellent hosts. There was daily housekeeping too! Wonderful breakfast that you could purchase if you wanted. The hotel pools were great and the hotel grounds were so well maintained at this intimate boutique-type hotel. Location was perfect - short walk to the beach, which is the most beautiful beach. Really good restaurants so close by and small mini marts for groceries and liquor purchases. Can’t say enough good things about Vincent, Millie, the apartment, the hotel, the beach and the town of Carrillo. Highly recommend and we will definitely return!

We had a wonderful stay. The accommodation was lovely and very well equipped for a comfortable stay. We loved the balcony and the beautiful trees and plants surrounding the pool. The swinging chair was a real treat for me. The host was very helpful and responsive to our needs. Everything we needed to be comfortable was provided. It was great having a washer and dryer on site.

Perfect spot for my me and my two boys during a fantastic week in beautiful Sámara. I don’t think the pics quite do this modern ohana justice- super cool layout and very lush and private surroundings.The compound in this stellar neighborhood is very quiet and friendly, walking distance everywhere, very grateful to have stayed here for our little holiday . Slept like a champ every night, woke up with a coffee on the patio to all the natural glory of Sámara. Salt water pool is sweet, too. A lot of aloha in this abode, safe and secure for your little ones, we had a blast. Gracias Juan Carlos for your hospitality, we hope to come through again.

Nat and Dane's Villa Vivos is absolutely beautiful. The included amenities were exceptional and our comfort was prioritized. The welcome basket is such a thoughtful inclusion amd we excited to cook our breakfast in the rancho. Everything was great, including their cute doggo Kiki, the frogs, and the geckos. As others mentioned, make sure to have a 4x4 for the ride up to the villas. The roads are steep in some areas but you quickly get used to it. We definitely recomment this beautiful listing.

Had a good stay at Lucas' place. Its a cosy, simple apartment that has everything you need, away from the noise of the centre but walking distance to the centre avenue and the beach. There is a good gym nearby that offer weekly and daily passes (if that's your thing). There's also supermarkets nearby if you need to stock up. Lucas himself is super friendly and always responsive. From the moment I booked his place, to the moment I left. He also owns a surf shop, which I recommend checking out. I went kayaking and surfed for the first time ever! Which was tough, but good fun. Overall it was a great stay and I'd happily do it again. Pura Vida 🤙🏼

We stayed in 12 places across Costa Rica and this is by far the most beautiful, well thought-out place we have stayed in. You can tell that the owners wanted to make a good investment with comfort and pleasure for the guests in mind. Many other ‘luxury’ stays we went to, cut corners on materials and quality but this was just in an other universe. Many thanks Sophia!

Very good for digital nomad work. Wifi and power was good, AC worked well, neighborhood was quiet, close to coffee and a few shops.

Loved our stay. Very private. Felt safe and secure. Great home with everything you need for a great stay and to feel at home. Shower had hot water and the water is filtered and wonderful to drink. The hosts were friendly and helpful. The home was clean and comfortable. The pool was great to cool off in the afternoons and the outdoor shower was lovely too. Sunrise cafe and la Luna in town are walkable and delicious. Easy walk to the beach. You need a 4x4 to navigate the roads everywhere in Costa Rica.

We had an amazing stay and would absolutely come back! Highly recommended! Location was perfect, we walked to Playa Pelada and Playa Guiones almost everyday, there’s also great restaurants within walking distance. Tuk Tuks also available if you are at Guiones in the evening and don’t want to walk the beach back. The place itself was even more beautiful and stunning than the photos. Kitchen had everything we needed and more. Beds were comfortable and lots of seating inside and outside. Pool was lovely and we used it everyday, neighbors are very friendly! Douglas and Lee were quick to respond and gave excellent recommendations before and during our stay! :)

Excelente estadía

I had a fantastic experience at Trebolmar! Even though I only stayed for a week, I easily could have stayed for longer. Luis was so helpful with recommendations and all my questions, and even helped me arrange dinner on my birthday while I was there (greatly appreciated!). The location is perfect — less than a 5-minute walk from the beach, lots of restaurants, coffee, etc. I would definitely stay again!

I spent 2 weeks at this beautiful place located in La Huacas, walkable to the beach and restaurants but tucked away from the comparative “busyness” of Nosara. The landscaping and surrounding jungle were perfect to watch birds and monkeys. Completely safe and luxurious accommodation in a newer build. I compared pricing for the area and feel this Airbnb provides a great deal more privacy and amenities than a hotel. Being able to cook for myself was a great benefit for me. I frequently had the property to myself. Owner was very responsive to communications. Note: Nosara has really grown since I was last there and construction is everywhere. This place was relatively quiet in comparison and I could enjoy the landscape in the immaculate garden view terrace. I loved the pool area for yoga and outdoor showers. At peak times, the main road is busy down below the house but this was never a concern. Encourage you to explore the views from La Huacas on quad or e-bike during your stay. Pura vida!

Karene's place is absolutely amazing. The space was clean and spacious, very private and peaceful. One great experience I had: I was sitting by the pool and in the forest I got to see a bunch of howler monkeys in the trees. Karene's place is about a 20 minute walk to the center of town, I used the electric scooters which make it much easier to get around. The beach is also very close. Overall it's a great place to stay if you're visiting Tamarindo.

I loved my stay at Yuko & Andys home. Everyday I woke up looking at the green plants in front of the flat. It is very calm in that area & I loved it. Yuko & Andy are both caring people and made me feel like I am at my own home. They also provided a lot of recommendations after I shared my interests e.g. places for yoga, restaurants … The beach is in 3min walking distance, not crowded and very clean. 🌞 As a solo travelling woman I felt also very safe. I would book the Airbnb again, when in this area of Costa Rica. Thank you for having me🥰

Nadia and Ronny were absolutely great hosts and staff. Nadia was always there for any questions or recommendations where she would help with anything you needed. The property was amazing! So clean and nice just like the photos. Ronny was right there to clean and help with anything you needed at the room. The balcony was great too because you saw the beautiful sun rises and sun sets. The pool was so nice and clean too. The property was a straight shot to the beach and right there next to the restaurant & Bar scene. Groceries were close too. The kitchen was perfect for that too. The bathroom and shower were perfect after a long day at the beach or hiking the jungles. This place made my CR trip so exciting. It was really easy for shuttles to find for pick up so I got to do a bunch of activities. Plus a big drive way if you rent cars, trucks or motorcycles or even ATVs. It was really close to everything and all the tenants were really nice and chill. Overall an incredible time here. 10/10

El lugar está muy cerca de playas preciosas, sin ruido innecesario, alojamiento igual a lo ofertado en la página, limpio, bien equipado, muy buena atención de Andrés para todas las inquietudes que tuvimos, las instalaciones muy limpias y seguras. Definitivamente volvería en fechas futuras. Sí es recomendable tener vehículo alto para éstas fechas con lluvia, para poderse trasladar dentro de la zona, ya que la calle de entrada es de lastre

Un lugar perfecto para desconectar de la ciudad. tranquilo y una increíble vista, algunos puntos importantes de considerar. 1. La casa cuenta con todo lo necesario para cocinar, esta bien equivocada. 2. La comunicación con los anfitriones es muy buena y fluida, están pendiente a cualquier duda que tengas y la respuesta fue casi inmediata, muy amables y receptivo. 3. Fue fácil hacer el check in, y llegar al punto por waze. 4. Un lugar muy seguro 5. Después que pases Potrero Centro, el camino a transitar será de unos 8 a 10min en calle de lastre, puede que en invierno sea complicado para un automóvil, yo fui en un SUV y sin problema. En lo personal recomiendo el lugar, yo volvería cada vacaciones!

Un apartamento super amplio y cómodo, impecable, con una ubicación muy conveniente. La pasamos muy bien, y el host esta pendiente a cualquier pregunta que uno tenga. ¡Se los recomiendo a todos!

Very walkable location a couple minutes from the beach, bars, breakfast, etc. Great view. The pool was fun!
