Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Puerto Ayora

A very nice place equipped near a park for the children we really liked the stay there I did not have the pleasure of meeting Ana very much but I thought I was an excellent host to consider the internet since in itself it is not so good and the TV stopped x moments but it is something manageable since on the island you are going to enjoy its places

Charles and Ximena were great hosts. They went out of their way to make sure we had a great stay. Galapagos Cottages is an excellent location clos e to Tortuga Bay. Also, the coffee, milk be beer in the frigde was perfect.

Great little place for a group to stay. The host was super helpful and quick to reply. Couldn’t ask for more! The only downside is the very low pressure in the shower, but it must the island problem. There is also a lot of noise coming from the street during night so not a good option if you are light sleeper. But! Overall very happy with the stay.

Absolutely perfect! House was beautiful, location was great, host was nice and very responsive!

Ana is a wonderful host and we loved the location, a short walk to the beach and had the best wifi we have found on Galapagos. Plenty of room and really great kitchen. Thanks Ana, we will be coming back!

this is a 5 star review summary: I will most definitely book this location again. pos: host is extremely responsive, and offered solid recommendations for travel and services pos: location is close to downtown (15 minute leisurely walk to ferry, less than 10 to darwin research) with plenty of mini markets and restaurants within 10 pos: beds comfortable, plenty of storage spaces, very secure. neighborhood feels very safe pos: pictures are exact, property is well furnished and well decorated. a fantastic place to spend a week or more in the galapagos neg: like most multi story structures in S America, tight winding stairway may be tough for elderly. Not a criticism of this host, but be aware there are no bedrooms on entry level. neg: as with all properties in the city of puerto ayora, expect to hear trucks coming and going at all hours. no late night restaurant or bar noise.

Very comfortable and cozy apartment. I would highly recommend it. If I return to Galapagos, I will return to the same apartment.

Truly a GEM in PARADISE! The spot is in walking distance to everything. From bars, to restaurants, to national treasures on the island. The port is also within walking distance. There’s also a friendly cat that’s always waiting for you in the mornings and at night. I would recommend it to anyone staying on the island!

Very nice place to stay

I had the pleasure of staying here for 6 weeks and I highly recommend it for the comforts of home. Conny is a great host, friendly, kind, and very responsive and she shared great recommendations for restaurants and activities. The location of the apartment is ideal, a quiet neighborhood that is an easy walk to the main roads, pier, and Tortuga Bay, and the small private outdoor area is a bonus that I loved. The washer and dryer made my long stay easier, as did the fresh water tap in the kitchen for drinking water. I made many meals at home and the kitchen is well-supplied with the basics. I miss it already and will definitely want to stay here again when I return.

Nice place and comfortable.

Excellent apartment, superbly located! Close to everything. We felt comfortable at all times, and it had everything we needed, even an outdoor space with a laundry room to rinse beach clothes and hang them. Priscila helped me with everything I needed!

The apartment is super cozy, spacious, and nicely decorated. It's located in the very center of Puerto Ayora, all the points of interest are within walking distance. The hosts are very friendly, proactive and willing to go an extra mile to make sure you have everything you need.

lovely place, lovely host

A great base for exploring the island- in a quiet residential neighbourhood and only a couple of blocks away from the main market. Tatiana was a great host, friendly and responsive and Mirian who assisted with the check in and ensured the place was clean, comfortable and with complimentary bottled water was also very helpful and nice.

Javier (host) was the best part about our stay. His kindness and amazing hospitality made us feel right at home. His breakfasts and freshly made coffee just took the stay here to another level. The place is nice and close to downtown Santa Cruz. Highly recommend! It is also very very safe.

This is a great find! although there were renovations, the host was very accommodating to work around it. Veronica and Javier absolutely made this AirBnB one of the best I've ever stayed in! William was a recommended driver direct from the host and he was also worth his weight in gold! Bikes were provided along with helmets and the Port is within 10 minutes walking. I loved everything about our stay and we will definitely return!

What an open peaceful space! The porch was spectacular and we spent a lot of time sitting out there. It was an easy walk to almost anything. The AlMar restaurant was a three minute walk with delicious food and drinks as well as being right on the water. We loved how open and airy the space was and the air conditioning was much appreciated especially for sleeping! Thank you to Matthew for meeting us and answering all our questions!

Excellent stay. The place has all the necessary amenities for a family group and the location is close to the main points of the island. A recommended option, no question.

Enrique Veronica and Javier were excellent host during our stay for the week. Not only did we have breakfast every morning exactly when we asked there was a variety of different items that were served. Additionally, Veronica helped out immensely with tours and even getting our laundry done. We would highly recommend this location and in future trips we will stay again. We felt very comfortable with Jimmy. Everything is very clean and the air conditioning works perfectly. There is a supermarket and a bakery nearby. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the port. We will be happy to come back!

Great place to stay in Puerto Ayora. In a quiet area and just a short walk to all the hustle and bustle of downtown.
