Great location in walking distance to the train and the sights. The apartment had what we needed. The washer was very useful especially on a beach vacation. This was the most beautiful city we visited. Our host was readily available to answer questions / assist us with issues. Note the city shuts the water off for residents at 5pm so it’s best to do laundry and shower before then. We did not have any issues with that but be aware- we still showered after (using tank water) we just made those quick showers. Great stay!

An excellent apartment in a friendly and genuine village … We’ve just returned from a superb holiday in the village of Santa Domenica. What a great apartment. Spacious and well equipped, super clean, with a decent balcony and pool with a sun bathing area. No negatives for us at all. Everything we needed food wise was in the village ; a couple of supermarkets, a really good food/bric a brac market on Mondays, a bakery, fishmonger (that serves meals also), cafe/bars, 4/5 restaurants (Il Casale was our favourite). We used Santa Domenica as a base for a few days out to Pizzo and Scilla (both beautiful and, we thought, easily as nice as Tropea. A number of beaches are accessible from Santa Domenica but these involve walks which aren’t always easy when it’s 30+ degrees. And our host ? Teresa was ace. Picked us up from the Railway Station, gave us loads of decent recommendations and responded immediately to any questions we had. A great holiday !

The apartment is very clean and equipped with all comforts and is in a great location, in a quiet village. We were greeted by Mr. Francesco, father of the host Andrea who provided us with all the necessary directions for the stay. Andrea made us find in the house a very specific guide on restaurants and places to eat as well as places and beaches to visit. We had a great time, had a nice vacation and I highly recommend it.

We had a fantastic stay in this beautiful Tropea apartment. The balcony view was like a dream — watching the sunset each evening with our kids was unforgettable. Its location was perfect, just off Corso Vittorio Emanuele with plenty of dining options, and steps away from the beach and port. The apartment is spacious, tastefully decorated, and the hosts were incredibly welcoming. Highly recommended!

My partner and I are traveling for two months (while working) and it's been our best experience with Airbnb. We've never had such a lovely host. He gave us clear instructions for check-in, but welcomed us in person and showed us the best places to eat and tips for getting around the city. I was ill and, not only wrote to ask if I had got better, but also helped me buy medication. The house was far from the noise and movement of the center, which we loved, but we were still very close and went out to eat in the city - which is gorgeous, we left completely in love. We spent the morning on the beach, worked from the apartment in the afternoon and went out for a walk in the evening. We want to have the opportunity to go back on vacation and enjoy the city more. Thank you for hosting us, Pasquale. You were sensational and we loved your space.

I just can recommend this accommodation in Tropea. Its not so far from the city centre and has all facilities very close: Supermarket, Bakery, Saturday Market, Beach. Santina is a very kind and rady-to-help host. Enjoy your time in Tropea.

The apartment is very well located in the heart of Tropea’s old town, with the most beautiful sea-view. There are several very good restaurants nearby. It was quite hot and there was only one fan. Would have been nice to have had a second one, especially at night. Other than that, we can highly recommend this spacious and very well equipped apartment. Massimo was more than helpful with everything. He gave us many good recommendations where to eat, grocery shopping, etc.

There were two of us at Silvio's and we thoroughly enjoyed the stay. There was a large bed and a large, very comfortable sofa bed. We were able to park in front of the house on the street and explore the area from there. Silvio was a very friendly host for us, who was always available and who could also help us buy a property. Pizzo and the surroundings are worth a trip, beautiful old town and many very good restaurants (definitely eat the pistachio Tartuffo at Dante's) with wonderfully long secluded beaches. We will be happy to come back.

If you want to have a quiet vacation, this is the place to be. The surrounding area is very quiet and the beach right in front of the house is also not very busy. The beach bar is also great. The accommodation was very clean and all utensils, as well as basic spices, were also provided for cooking. Giuseppina was very friendly, always responded very quickly and was very helpful. We will definitely recommend this place and hopefully come back soon.

Fantastic location, beautiful virtually private beach on the doorstep. A short drive from Tropea and local shops and restaurants. simple clean well equipes no frills accomodation.

In May, we stayed in the apartment when traveling in the south. We had been looking for an apartment for a long time that matched the price and quality, and found this apartment. It turned out to be even better than in the photos. The apartment is two-storied, clean, bright, cozy. The apartment is equipped with all amenities necessary for a comfortable long stay and rest. We were also pleased with the small, well-kept courtyard, where lemon, tangerines, pomegranate, bougainvillea grow, where you can enjoy freshly brewed coffee in the morning in the shade of trees and to the singing of birds, as well as have dinner outside with the whole family in the evening. We also liked the location of the apartment itself, one minute to the sea at a calm pace. You can park your car near the apartment. The beach is large, clean (it was already cleaned in May), with white sand. Near the apartment, within walking distance, there are several cafes, shops with basic necessities. A little further (5 min by car) there is a big supermarket. The hostess of the apartment is very welcoming and friendly, she told and showed us everything. I was always in touch.

Adriano's apartment is already overwhelmed by its location: views of the isola madre from the bedroom, beautiful terrace overlooking the end of the two beaches, beautiful sunsets...Sometimes we had to tear ourselves away to go to the town or to the beach. In the apartment we had everything we needed. Adriano was super nice: since our train was very late, he picked us up directly at the station and carried my heavy suitcase down to the apartment. Otherwise, I received an immediate response whenever I had any questions and he booked the taxi for us. We highly recommend the apartment and Adrianos kindness!

Wonderful location - private, serene, and gorgeous. Philip and Antonia were lovely hosts, they took care to provide lots of recommendations and explain the house. The house itself is beautiful and had all the necessities for us to stay in and cook for the week, especially using the sweet local red onions! The view is incredible and the private beach was our daily exercise - we loved it! We'll be back!

This place is a gem!!! Includes an adorable home with multiple outdoor dining areas, pool (shared between a couple of villas), and a stunning private beach (down 400 steps but well worth it!). Our mixed age group (2 year old, 92 year old and 3 adults) absolutely loved it! Was a beautiful escape and felt like we were getting a taste of the region. We loved spending time at the pool and cooking in the kitchen. For those who may have trouble with stairs - one bedroom is ground floor, two are upstairs. It is only a few minutes drive from some great restaurants, and 20 minute drive to Tropea. Definitely recommend having a car if you stay here.

The apartment and location was better than expected. We had not been to Tropea before and did not have a good sense of the town layout. We were ideally located, a very short walk to the old town all the restaurants, cafes and shops. The apartment has wonderful large balcony that provides the best sunset view - why fight the crowds? Sunset aperitivo on the balcony was a highlight. Access to the station is also good, although it is a long walk with bags (15 min) - easy downhill from the station, more challenging heading up the hill. Lidia was a great host, provided very responsive help for checkin and was available and responsive throughout our short 4 day visit. The apartment is well set up with all the advertised amenities. One minor downside was that the apartment is opposite a popular bar that can be noisy until late. Fortunately the windows and apartment were quite well sound proofed. We had a wonderful stay in Tropea. Thank you Lidia for hosting us!

Lovely apartment - exactly like the photos. Very clean and tastefully furnished. The outside terrace (furniture and views) were amazing! Would recommend! Car definitely required.

What a lovely studio! Even though you have to get the keys from Rachael (no self check in); nevertheless she’s very responsive and accommodative. I will definitely stay again when I return to the area.

It was a pleasure staying at Loredanas place :) everything was as described and really cozy and clean! There was great furnishing and equipment for cooking too and the neighborhood was nice. We spent some lovely evenings on the terrace from where you could see the sea as well. WiFi, the AC and everything worked fine! We were four people and it was enough space for all of us! Loredana was a very nice host too, she gave us some nice recommendations and answered very quickly! We would book again, when coming back! Thank you for hosting us :)

Francesco and his mother Caterina were extraordinary hosts. Communication was excellent from the beginning and they were always attentive to our comfort during our stay. The neighborhood was quiet and very close to the beach on foot. I highlight how neat all the rooms were, even the smallest detail was shiny and fragrant. Thank you so much!! We would definitely come back

Very special, quiet and with original furnishings from the 70s. Really a beautiful place with special charm and very friendly & helpful team. It is very simple and with the kitchen and bathroom you notice that they are from another time and some things are a bit outdated, but for that you have a unique environment, a lot of peace, nature and a lot of personal charm away from mass tourism. If desired or small defects, it was immediately helped and everything was fixed directly. Also recommended without a car, you walk about 15 minutes to the small supermarket, about 30 minutes to the slightly larger supermarket, 20 minutes to the train station (from there you can easily walk to Scilla & Tropea). The only drawback: On weekends you can hear the music of the larger tourist facilities and basic equipment such as oil, vinegar, pepper, etc. are not available on site. The place and surrounding area is beautiful, great beach & above all very helpful and warm atmosphere. We will be happy to come back!

The view from the balcony was wonderful! The pictures of this apartment don’t do it justice. The balcony was big enough for two to enjoy coffee or wine. Really felt like a local but had enough restaurants around. Everything was walkable up and down hill. The apartment was not so big, but very comfortable for two. Can’t say much about how the kitchen worked, because who wants to cook when so much Italian food is at your doorstep? However, we were there the day many things closed down at the beginning of November. Still, we found good places to eat. Would recommend this apartment.
