Vacation rentals with lake access in Province of Verbano-Cusio-Ossola

We had a great vacation at Marco's apartment. Patrizia with dog Lilli are on site and super nice. No matter what, she always helps and gives tips for the area. We felt very comfortable and will definitely be back.

The apartment is spacious, perfectly clean and you have everything you need and from the terrace you have a fantastic view of the lake and the three islands. The hosts are very nice, courteous and helpful. We would definitely come back.

Great cozy house in a very quiet location. The house is especially suitable for couples due to its size and amenities. But our daughter (almost 4 years old) also liked it very much. We were all very comfortable. It is very original, I liked that. Toddlers should either not be able to walk or be able to walk stairs very well. It was very clean and everything necessary such as dish towels or dishwasher detergent was available. There is no unnecessary decoration around. Marco is very nice, responds quickly and overall everything was uncomplicated.

Paola is a super host, she makes you feel right at home, including our 2yr old border collie. The lake view at the flat is the highlight of our stay. The little personal touch provided by Paola is the added bonus on top. The garden and the surrounding hikes and lake is absolutely amazing. We enjoyed our stay very much. Highly recommended

Casa Longhi is a beautiful place located right in the centre of this historic village and close to the lake. The casa is historic (built in 1456 - note; the plumbing has been upgraded since! 🤣). It retains its old world charm and ambiance. It is has a very comfy bed and everything was spotlessly clean. The washing machine is a bonus. Nicolo is a fabulous friendly host. Highly recommended - Grazie.!!

A stay that met our expectations… Fabulous lake views, 5-minute walk to the lake, swimming facilitated by a few steps! The apartment is really great and the calm is fantastic. Thank you for your warm welcome and especially for your joie de vivre.

There is nothing to add to the numerous positive reports, I can basically only repeat and confirm them! The house is very nicely furnished with a great, new bathroom, a very comfortable bed (double room 1st floor) and plenty of storage space. Although the house has no air conditioning, we slept well with the excellent shading (electric wooden shutters!!) and the fans despite high temperatures. The view of the lake is fantastic and we spent a lot of time on the well-equipped terrace! On the other hand, we found it very pleasant that you can easily walk to all the restaurants and also the small lawn by the lake. But apart from all the advantages of the house, one must especially highlight the warm hospitality of Cristina and Paolo! Thanks again for this! I'm sure we'll be back in the next few years!

We were there a few years ago - we liked it very much then as now. The apartment is very cozily furnished and offers enough space to stay indoors (for toddlers, a sun-free place with air conditioning in between is also great :)). We also liked the opportunity to get a cappuccino downstairs and drink it on our own balcony. Communication with Francesca was very straightforward and fast, check-in and check-out were also very easy and flexible. We can certainly imagine coming here a third time. :)

Nicolò's place was clean and airy, free of clutter, but with lovely art on the walls and great books and magazines too, the right balance of personal touches. Bed linen was brand new, everything was spotless. Lovely view of mountains and a bit of lake to one side and a great location. Suna is cute and quiet and the flat is very close to the lake, right where there's a small beach, plus cafes and restaurants. Nicolò also sent us a great guide of the whole area and let us use his parking spot which, unlike many buildings in the area, was easy to come in and out of, and spacious. There is indeed no wifi, as it says on the listing, but it was not a problem for us. We definitely recommend and will be back. :)

Cristina met us down the road and helped us bring our luggage up. She was very helpful and provided clear instruction for checking in. Cristina communicated quickly and was very kind to us throughout our stay. The location of the apartment overlooks Lake Maggiore and provides a beautiful view of Isola Bella. It is a 15 minute walk to the train station, about 20 minute walk through the gorgeous promenade by the lake shore and once you are in the city center if Stresa, you can try delicious traditional Piedmont dishes, purchase Piedmont cheeses and salami from Conad which is about 20 minute walk from the apartment. There is also a Carrefour store in the city center for quick shopping. Overall, the apartment’s location was excellent, the surroundings are gorgeous, the people of Stresa are very friendly and helpful. We highly recommend staying oh good at Cristina’s place for a sun-filled and relaxing getaway.

Small accommodation, but it has everything you need. The garden has beautiful afternoon/evening sun and it is just 1 minute walk from the lake. There is a small beach, 2-3 restaurants and a bar. For the supermarket you had to drive 5 min by car to Laveno. Christina was super nice and helpful and provided us with great tips. Great stay! A single criticism: a second deck chair for the garden would be great! ;)

Our stay in this apartment in the heart of Orta San Giulio was exceptional. The natural setting is beautiful. The apartment, spacious and well-equipped, offers all the comforts you need. We spent a wonderful 4 days in the house. The location is awesome and the private beach is simply fantastic. Communication with the hosts was quick and easy. The house is clean and the garden with the beautiful view is awesome. We were 2 adults with 2 dogs and it was perfect for us. The dogs cannot get from the private beach into the water (water is only accessible via 2 ladders) but 10m from the house they can easily swim. The place is great for swimming with the dogs. The spiral staircase was also not feasible for our (medium-sized) dogs, but they slept upstairs in the living room without any problems and we slept downstairs in the bedroom. The house is equipped with everything you need and the recycling system is perfectly prepared by the host. Everything was very clean upon our arrival. We really enjoyed our vacation here and will definitely come back again.

We were here for the second time. Beautiful quiet apartment a little off the mainstream tourism of Lake Maggiore but still everything very quickly accessible

We were a group of 9 people and we had a lovely stay at this house by Lake Maggiore. The location is absolutely beautiful, with great views. The path to get there will have given us some chills but the garden is a real haven of peace, perfect for enjoying the calm and surrounding nature. Self check-in and self check-out will have given us a lot of flexibility, Stefano's instructions and his responsiveness were perfect. A big thank you for the warm welcome and all the small details in making our stay such a pleasant one.

First of all, this location is absolutely outstanding. It is directly on the lake just south of town. The island is front and center and it is so peaceful and quiet. We loved lounging next to the lake in the afternoons, watching the ducks swim and the boats sail by. The “cottage” itself is compact but perfectly comfortable for 2-3 people. It is very bright and airy, although it would have been great to have screens on the sliding glass doors so we could have breezes at night. We had an unusual check in experience, which was mostly our own fault. We followed the check in directions online; we should have read the House Rules before check in! Because we didn’t, we ended up in the wrong house where the keys didn’t work, so we climbed in a window, only to subsequently learn that someone else lived there! So DO read the House Rules before arrival. Our only suggestion…the cottage is not as well stocked as other AirBnB’s where we have stayed. AirBnB should have a minimum level expect

We were very kindly hosted by Valerie's father Angelo, who was always available for questions during our entire stay. Angelo was always super friendly and helpful, we felt very welcome. The cute boathouse and the large property on which it stands is simply a dream. You can't live any closer to the water. Everything is very lovingly arranged and furnished. As you can see in the photos, the interior is rather 'rustic'. If you prefer modern and minimalist, this is not the place for you. We found it very cozy. The bed has spring mattresses, which are rather hard. If you want a softer bed, you might want to bring a topper :) We really enjoyed our stay in this little paradise and would love to come back!
