Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Proissans

We stayed for two nights and would have liked to stay longer. Beautiful little house with everything we needed. Julie arranged a menu for us from a local producer which was delicious. Peaceful and relaxing but not far from to Domme itself. Above and beyond host.

Cozy and very private accommodation not overlooked. Very clean and very well equipped. Great for discovering the surrounding villages and enjoying the spa in the evening.

The reality matches the photos on the site. We had a great time in an old house typical of the Périgord region. Very well located, it allows for many visits. The view of the valley is superb with the setting sun or the sea of fog.

An interesting layout for a beautiful cottage, it takes a bit to get used to it, amazing views, at the edge of the forest and the village. We had a wonderful time with our friends, lots of activities to do in the area and many places to visit. Thank you for you hospitality, Lumi & Liviu

Very welcoming hosts in a great accommodation: very clean, very well equipped and close to many tourist spots. Only downside: a little noisy with the road but I highly recommend it

First off, Saint-Cirq Lapopie is one of the most spectacular places in all of France, and Thiery and Maryse’s gite is right in the center of it, with spectacular views of the area. The gite itself was a great home base for us to explore the region, very comfortable and quiet at night. And on top of it all, Thiery and Maryse were always available to answer any questions, responding within a few hours or less, without fail. I highly recommend their place if you’re interested in exploring this beautiful region.

Treat yourself to staying at Frédérique’s home. She and Martine did everything they could possibly do to make our stay easy and enjoyable. We loved walking the hills and taking in the incredible views from this beautiful village. The restaurant La Petite Tourelle was a 2 minute walk down and a lovely dining experience. Don’t miss it! Beynac was a great spot from which to visit other quaint small villages by car and also Lascaux IV was a 45 minute drive away. We felt very at home during our stay! Thank you Frédérique and Martine!

Very beautiful home in a green setting. stunning bedrooms and S.B two very well-equipped kitchens address to keep! however house on 3 levels attention for people in difficulty walking.

A perfect accommodation located in the old town for beautiful walks with an ice cream shop close by that we enjoyed. Adrien is very attentive and available for guests Thanks again for the little gift for us and also for our cat. The accommodation is very quiet and peaceful. Fully equipped for a perfect stay, we also enjoyed the garden. We recommend the accommodation without a second thought and we will come back without hesitation.

We just spent a few days at this amazing apartment in La Roque-Gageac. The place is in a building several hundreds of years old, renovated with lots of taste, beautiful and modern bathrooms, a lovely courtyard with tables and chairs to relax in, comfortable beds. Adrien and Marion are a wonderful couple that welcomed us warmly. Our children loved their gentle dog, Indi - we loved the restaurant next door. The perfect place for a glass of wine and a taste of their remarkable food! Right in the center of la Roque-Gageac, loads of things to do such as hikes, castle visits, going to markets, cooking class, biking and canoeing (what we couldn’t do due to poor weather conditions). I highly recommend staying here! All the best to Adrien and Marion!

Our stay in Eric’s house was perfect. Stepping out into the heart of the old town was a wonderful experience every time. The location could not be more central to restaurants shops and bars. We will certainly stay again.

Very clean, very functional accommodation that fully matches the description given. Comfortable accommodation decorated with sobriety and taste. Very nice terrace given the excellent weather we enjoyed. Well-equipped with kitchen utensils. Very convenient cellar for us who had mountain bikes.

Ideal for visiting the beautiful sites of Périgord Noir. Mariette and Jacques are lovers , have a sense of hospitality which is rare nowadays! Everything is great: the setting, the typical house with character. Well equipped, welcome tray, good bedding, a beautiful fireplace very pleasant in the evening! We recommend 100% for those who want to have a good simple and true holiday. Special mention for the welcome of our 2 dogs. We will be back next year as we did not have time to thoroughly visit the surroundings so rich in heritage. Thank you again

Serge’s place is amazing. We spent a lovely 10 days there in May and it was exactly what we were looking for. It’s walking distance into the village which has everything you need, and the place itself is clean, well appointed and in a beautiful setting with its own lake. Serge was so responsive and kind to us during the stay too - he went the extra mile to make sure we enjoyed ourselves!

We had an amazing 6 days. We adored the gite and we made friends with the chickens, the cat and a local dog. It’s amazing for children. And yet so peaceful. I would highly recommend this place

Great place to stay - lots of garden around the house to relax in and fabulous pool. Beautiful surroundings and good base for exploring the Dordogne. Tim and Nathalie were great hosts and we enjoyed the buffet on our arrival and the pizzas later in the week.

We loved staying at Franca's home in Sarlat-la-Canéda. It was beautiful, clean, spacious and provided a quiet, relaxing environment. The house was surrounded by a fence and gate so we had privacy and security. The grounds were nicely landscaped. We had 8 people in our party and everyone loved it. The kitchen was well-equipped for cooking meals. We chose to do that and had some great family time together. Our group had been traveling for several days so the washer and dryer were very much appreciated as well. The home is located near the town center which was convenient. The village is charming with its beautiful buildings. It was a very enjoyable stay. We hope to return soon.
