Living with wood, stone, glass and clay

Ecological construction and sometimes thousands of years old materials (wood, stone, clay, steel and glass) meet modern architecture with sophisticated use of space and intelligent solar technology. We (Christine and Heinz) have fulfilled a dream here near the Rax and built a minimalist and - as we think - very cozy house for our evening of life. Ideal dropout hut feel yourself and nature. In the vicinity are the 3 Lunzer lakes, the nature park Ötscher-Tormäuer and beautiful mountain and hiking routes ! Bike enthusiasts especially like the Ybbstaler bike path. With canyoning, rafting and Flying Fox, adventure seekers don't get short either. This 100 year old wooden house is surrounded on 3 sides by forest and offers a wonderful view of the Rax. The south-facing, sunny view extends from the Rax to the Preiner Gschaid. The house has a heating with two Swedish stoves, which are able to heat the entire house. A modern kitchen with dishwasher, refrigerator (with freezer) and induction cooker completes the basic equipment. A wonderful place to relax and enjoy nature.
