House vacation rentals in Prats-de-Carlux

Absolutely gorgeous; quiet and restful (superb automated shutters) - situated in the countryside, yet literally less than 10 minutes drive to Sarlat! We couldn’t believe it. It couldn’t be more convenient if it tried! The gite apartment is very new and aesthetically very nice - it is also 100% suitable for wheelchair users with entry ramp (from your car) and through the large sliding glass doors and all the doors, plus the kitchen unit level is correct for wheelchair users. The bathroom is beautiful with a wet room and a very snazzy shower head which clamps on to the rail using magnetism which is very clever. The bed is very comfortable and was made up for our arrival and also towels were included, along with kitchen tea-towels. These were changed over after a week. The kitchen was very well equipped and also featured a high speed induction hob. The swimming pool was gorgeous but despite being there ten days, we still didn’t get a chance to use it….

A nice surprise much better than in the photos , this pretty stone house in nature is nicely decorated , combining high-end furniture, modernity and the charm of this old Perigord house. The pool area is beautiful and very comfortable we enjoyed these few days with family as a family

We had the most wonderful holiday at Stephane and Bob's beautiful gite. They are very friendly and thoughtful hosts who have a fabulous home and garden. Our daughter loved the pool and felt very at home (as did we). The perfect place to relax but also very close to lots of places to visit. We hope to return! Many thanks 🙏

The house is located in a secluded plot surrounded by woodland and with amazing views over the countryside. It has comfy beds, a modern kitchen with everything you need, a gas BBQ, a huge deck with outdoor seating and of course the lovely heated swimming pool. It is truly peaceful yet within an easy drive of Montignac with its supermarkets and riverside eateries. Saint Amand de Coly is a great base for exploring the Dordogne by car, with lots to see, visit and do within just half an hour’s drive and more further afield. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this super property.

We absolutely loved staying at this cute, clean place. It was really nicely decorated, free of clutter, everything was new and comfy, but the best thing was the view, deck, and hot tub. Oh, and the frogs at night. Just the sweetest piece of country land to be found. The beds were amazing, linens were great. Honestly, nothing to say other than I will and would book this place again. If you're looking for a beautiful night sky, hot tub under the stars, and a great home to call home, this is it. Great host, too :)

This house is an absolute gem. Perfectly located for exploring Castelnaud Chateau and other local sights. The garden view is lovely and is great fun when the balloons float past! A beautiful, characterful cottage in the heart of this historic village.

We had a lovely stay with the family. Quiet villa. Well located for visiting this beautiful region. The amenities of the house were greatly appreciated. We recommend this villa with eyes closed. In addition, the host is friendly and quite flexible. 😉

Pool is about 8m long & 1.25m deep and was perfect for us in the warm weather, while the stone building keeps cool during the day. Secluded rear courtyard with umbrella is nice for outdoor meals. 10 minutes drive to the nearest town, so a car is essential. One (nice) restaurant within walking distance.

We spent a whole month at Yves and Nadia's house. The house is very well furnished, the kitchen offers space and complete equipment. The two bedrooms are spacious and the beds are very comfortable. The crowning glory is the pool, which you can use at any time. The surroundings are picturesque and offer spectacular sights. Nadia and Yves are very friendly and helpful, their tips for excursions and restaurants are reliable. Both are charming hosts and interesting conversation partners. Highly recommended. I'm sure we'll be back.

We had a great time at Adrien and Cédric's. The accommodation is in a great location: close to a beautiful river, close to Sarlat and many of the area's must-see tourist sites. The place is extremely quiet, perfect for resting after a day of sightseeing. The accommodation is very well equipped, everything is designed to make you feel at home. Nothing is missing, whether for cooking, relaxing or enjoying the outdoors. A big thank you to Adrien and Cédric for their warm welcome and availability. They are very caring while remaining discreet, which makes the experience even better. We highly recommend this listing and hope to return! 🙂

Beautiful little terrace house in Belves within walking distance of the centre of the village. Lots of lovely bars and restaurants within. Five minute walk. The house is well equipped and very comfortable. The steps to the outside terrace are very steep and could be slippery if damp but the area is lovely to relax in. Lots to see and places to visit in this beautiful part of France.

Great week-long stay. The place is charming, good location and quite quiet. The cottage only offers two accommodations, one of which was unoccupied, so we were able to enjoy the latter alone. Patrick is extremely friendly, we didn't ask him but I'm sure we could have if needed. Thanks to him. I would highly recommend the place.

Gite nestled in peaceful and green valley, where it is particularly nice to live for a few days of vacation! The Oustal of the vegetable garden is a cottage that enjoys stunning views of the valley, with very little opposite with the other cottages. The hamlet of Dominique is very pleasant, with an exceptional pool both in terms of size and panorama. Dominique was a host who was committed to the life of her hamlet of cottages and offered many very valuable services and activities. In short, an exceptional place not to miss!

We will be returning. We had an amazing time in Ferme de la tour. We have been coming to France for decades and this holiday stands out as the best holiday ever. The setting is idyllic, our cottage looked out over rolling hills with plenty of sunshine yet good shade on the terrace to enjoy meals looking over the beautiful landscape. We were even treated to hot air balloons crossing the cloudless sky as we ate our evening meal!! The cottage itself is quaint and charming and very well appointed with everything you need for a relaxing holiday. The pool and gardens are perfectly maintained and gave our teens plenty of fun experiences. There is so much to do in the area, canoeing on the Dordogne and cycling on the nearby cycle route were favoured by our teens but my wife and I loved the beautiful medieval towns. Helena and Shane were incredible hosts. They both work tirelessly to create a relaxed and enjoyable holiday atmosphere for their guests. We definitely will be coming back!

Hughes the host is very friendly, in front of the house there is a small farm that he shows us, it was great, we will surely come back and enjoy the pool and sauna! I would highly recommend this very friendly host, the place is also historic! We love it anyway! See you soon!
