We were warmly greeted by Alain and Clair on arrival – they couldn’t have been more welcoming, and their kindness really set the tone for our stay. The setting was absolutely beautiful and so peaceful, a real escape from the hustle and bustle. The highlight for us was sitting and looking out at the river and waterfall right next to the property – the view was stunning and the sound of the water was so soothing. We left feeling completely relaxed and recharged. Highly recommended!

A heavenly stay in an idyllic setting. Logout guaranteed. The sheepfold is beautiful, very well decorated and very clean. It is fully equipped. Nothing is missing. The jacuzzi is perfect and the view is breathtaking. We spent 2 days out of time. A real corner of paradise. Thierry is an exceptional host, very kind and responsive and who gives you all the practical information for the sheepfold and things to do around. We will be back without hesitation. We had a pleasant stay with friends. The accommodation has a pool table, and some accommodations share a large swimming pool, a ping pong table and a petanque court. It has everything you need for a pleasant time in a beautiful peaceful setting. It went very well. I recommend it!

We only stayed one night but were totally won over by Marie and Laurent, their hospitality, their smiles, their advice, excellent. The accommodation, meanwhile, has been renovated while maintaining the old-fashioned charm of a house of our grandmothers while adding all the necessary comforts. It's charming and we'll be back.

A great breath of nature. Flowers of all kinds in August and 2 bambis that crossed the meadow with fantastic views from the terrace. The whole family has found their account in this lesser-known portion of Auvergne. Very lively city of Ambert! The space is functional and does not lack anything. The large upstairs room with musical instruments is perfect for family evenings: games, music, discussions and even the Olympics opening ceremony 😉 Thanks to our hosts and Élodie on site

Absolutely recommended. We were able to enjoy this large house, the beautifully maintained and spacious garden with terrace, and of course the private swimming pool. All necessities are available for a wonderful stay for 4 children, 4 parents. The bathroom upstairs is luxurious, with a lovely shower and bathtub. However, the (for us extra) room with bathroom downstairs, next to the garage, is a bit stuffy and - for that reason - we did not use it. Really friendly and helpful owners. Our compliments, we would love to come back.

it is important for us to point out how Marie-Agnès and her husband, Jean-Pierre, were welcoming, warm and really caring for us from our arrival; and we can even say before, since the contact was excellent from the preparations for this stay. We can only recommend this place address. We had everything we needed and even more (we dare not say more as we were spoiled). Ideal for a couple looking for a little isolation and rest. There are even board games (we enjoyed Scrabble in particular and card games). there's even a small garden with a small comfortable outdoor seating area. Our stay was excellent, I can't say.
