It's a wonderful situation at the head of the beautiful Gatine valley. Ideal any season for walking, cycling or simply taking time out. In the winter months you’ll be cozy with the log burner - and there are heaters if you need extra warmth in a cold snap - just ask, we’re always nearby to help.

Our cottage has been sympathetically renovated and is a uniquely individual space retaining a wealth of originality, blended perfectly with a contemporary feel. We can welcome 6, with two double bedrooms and a large double sofa-bed in the galleried landing area. A spacious living area leads to a quiet outdoor patio with rural views. The grounds the cottage are located in are surrounded by a large moat which contains unprotected deep water. Unsuitable for young unsupervised children.

On the 2nd, a modular dormitory area (sleeps 3, 90 x 200). You'll love, among other things, the free parking nearby and the location.

Azay-Sur-Thouet is 1H30 from La Rochelle, 1H00 from Futuroscope and Puy du Fou, 45 min from Marais Poitevin and 10 min from Parthenay (FLIP) and Pougne Hérisson (Festival du Nombril du Monde). Soizic makes her own bread, yogurts, jams and compotes. Breakfast is served in the room or in the garden on sunny days. We also welcome our equine friends, paddock with shelters or fields.
