Scott was an excellent and responsive host. His recommendations for activities in and around Harpers Ferry were second to none! His home was extremely clean, comfortable and matched the description perfectly. Check in and out could not have been easier. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our relaxing weekend and our three year old daughter didn’t want to leave! Could not recommend Scott’s place more!

A-Frame Cabin in Harpers Ferry with Hot Tub

SusanRating, 5 stars5 days ago
Herry is responsive right away for any questions you may have. What we appreciate the most about this lovely home is the cleanliness. It is not only clean but decorated very nicely. Just a beautiful place. The hot tub was very clean which is so nice, this is probably the cleanest we have ever had, ever. That means a lot! And it is completely private from the neighbors. We also enjoyed the string lights on the patio, the protection screen was fun to watch re-runs of Friends on a rainy night, and the couch is so comfortable! Loved that there is a bedroom on the main level. We had everything we needed. It was easy to get inside, well lit. Nice peaceful quiet neighborhood. We will be back to visit again. Thank you Herry!

Herb Cottage-Elegant Cabin plus Optional Farm Tour

SeanRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The Herb Cottage is beautifully situated on the Hidden Creek Farm. We enjoyed sitting on the porch and watching the animals move through the fields. I reserved the cabin because it was conveniently located near a dinner we were attending, abut we will return for the peaceful beauty of the farm. We slept soundly in the comfortable bed and woke to the sound of birds softly singing. If it rains while you are there, do not miss the opportunity to rock in the porch chairs and relax to the tune of raindrops drops on the metal roof.
The exterior of a renovated historic property is showcased, featuring a red facade with white trim. A stone chimney is visible, and large windows allow light to flow inside. Surrounded by trees with autumn leaves, a hot tub is positioned in the foreground.

~New~Hot Tub~Outdoor Shower~ Fire Pit~10 Acres

BryanRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Great place to stay in the middle of the woods. Everything from check in, to the stay, to check out was great. The house was truly unique, with the colonial front of the house. The kitchen was fully stocked, and we were pleased there was a Keurig machine and regular coffee pot. The hot tub was great and we loved the secluded location (we saw 2 cars on the road the whole weekend). Towels, linens, and furniture were all great. My wife talked about taking our kids to the same house in the future to do fun things in Loudon County.

*Private Waterfront Retreat w/3 Cabins Close to DC

CandiceRating, 5 stars4 months ago
This place could not be more perfect for our trip to DC. It was the perfect distance to the metro. Our group of 8 had so much space of our own, yet plenty of room to be together in the common spaces and not be on top of each other! We went in the coldest month of the year, so unfortunately we didn’t get to experience the best of what the outdoor areas had to offer but the views were breathtaking regardless. Melanie’s place was extremely clean and everything was provided and then some! Everyone in our group would like to go back in warmer months to spend more time outside. Before we got there, Melanie explained that there was an issue with one of the sinks in the cabins and said she would credit us accordingly. I thought that was great! It did not hinder or create a problem whatsoever! I hope we get to make it back sometime!

The River House

RodRating, 5 stars1 month ago
River House – 5 Stars My husband and I stayed in the River House for 4 days. We totally enjoyed ourselves there. It was exactly what we were looking for, peace and quiet while gazing upon nature at its best. The house is very clean, neat and crisp with a touch of warmth everywhere. It has everything you could want for your stay, making it home-sweet-home. The house is nestled between trees and situated right on the bank of the Shenandoah’s running river. Enjoy the lush green forest across the river while drinking your morning coffee in the sunroom. You’ll see that this serene setting brings a daily refuge of birds nesting and hummingbirds feeding to the top deck. The sunroom is so cozy and inviting. It seems as if the house is on stilts sitting over the running river. The River House has two large decks, a patio and boats for your family’s enjoyment. Serenity Cabin In The Woods

RebeccaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
This place was absolutely beautiful. The cabin was perfect for our stay. We brought our 2 dogs and the cabin and surrounding area provided much ample space for our 2 labradoodles. We went to the national park which was about a 25 minute drive. The cabin was comfortable and had absolutely everything we needed. The cabin is on a property with another house so if you want absolute seclusion that is something to think about. I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking to stay in the area!

Birch Cabin at Hunting Creek Hideaway

MaiaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Our one-night birthday getaway was pleasant, private. We appreciated the strong shower water pressure after a long hike nearby and empty fridge to keep our snacks and drinks in. The window ac unit was able to keep us cool. The view from the back was awesome and we were grateful that Brittany responded so quickly allowing us to check-out a little bit late. Would stay again!

A unique 5* mountaintop getaway overlooking Winery

ChristineRating, 5 stars7 months ago
This is a beautiful place! The views and property were as described - lovely view of nearby winery's grape vines and mountains. The cabin was well thought out for hanging out at the property with a nice big front porch for dining and a patio with a fire pit. Loved the pew-style bench dining nook. The place was very clean and the fresh cookies s'mores and other treats were a really nice welcoming touch. One thing to keep in mind is that there isn't a TV in the main room (there are TVs in the bedrooms) so something to keep in mind if you're gathering to watch the big game. Overall would definitely stay here again!

Cozy Riverfront Cabin

AlexRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Only two issues we had was there is no microwave (which isnt that bad) and the neighbor would let their mildly aggressive golden retriever out whenever we were outside. They made very little effort to control it. But this problem has nothing to do with this property. The property was a great stay. Would recommend.

Relaxing Cabin Get Away Near Annapolis & DC

RebeccaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
What a gem! This cabin hidden in the woods is a perfect getaway location! The cabin itself has great heat and A/C (I got to experience both over 3+ weeks!), excellent hot water pressure in the shower, and the most comfortable bed! In addition, it's fully equipped with everything you could possibly need! Beyond the cabin, the woods are so peaceful, with deer, foxes, squirrels, and badgers! The dogs and I loved our multiple walks per day with not a person in sight. To top it off, Ted is the nicest host I've ever had! So wonderfully friendly and responsive. I hope to stay here again soon!

Antietam Retreat at Blue Haven

KarenRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Lovely location, down a semi-private drive, surrounded by nature, and with a very responsive host. A few things for the prospective AirBnber to note: 1) Only a mini-fridge is available for you. The host keeps the main fridge for personal use. I didn't realize this until kind of late in the game. 2) Parking is not far but also maybe 25 yards? away. If you have a lot of stuff (hopefully not food you are trying to put in the mini-fridge) or are not able-bodied, it could be a bit difficult. 3) There is just a railing that separates the second floor drop from the first floor. If you have small kids of poor judgment, I would not recommend letting them up there! 4) Not recommended to drink the tap water, also disclosed a little late. 5) There is a pump or fan or some kind of mechanized noise running constantly from the porch which makes it a little hard to focus on the quiet sounds of the koi pond. If there is a way to turn this off or down it wasn't obvious!
A cozy cabin is surrounded by expansive grassy areas and trees. Steps lead up to a welcoming front porch, complemented by a short gravel path. The structure's exterior showcases a combination of dark wood siding and light accents beneath a gentle blue sky.
