Beach house vacation rentals in Port St. Joe

If you’re looking for a quiet beach getaway, this is absolutely the place to stay! Loved the area, lots of yummy food, peaceful/not crowded beach, plenty of space for all the family. The host was kind and quick to respond plus his guide was helpful throughout our stay. We didn’t have any issues with the house and hope to visit again in the future. Lovely vacation for myself, my sister and her child, my elderly mother, and my pup!! Also, the outdoor shower was fantastic in helping keep sand out of the house.

Our most favorite part of staying here was to come back home after a day of exploring to grab our pups and take them for a sunset stroll on the beach in a short 3-minute walk to the beach! After retreating to the back yard for a bonfire and then onto the front porch. Jennifer’s home has everything you need to kick back and unwind!

The house location was perfect, plenty of room and comfortable beds. Needs a little TLC such as screens but view is beautiful and loved the outside shower and bathroom option off of the parking area.

We had a great stay here! Everything was exactly as described and our host always responded quickly! The house was clean and had everything we needed. The yard was perfect for our pup and we enjoyed the patio and grill. The beach was a short walk across the street, we couldn't have asked for more! We definitely recommend this space and would stay again!

We loved our stay at Taylan’s place. The beach was very private. We practically had the beach to ourselves. The calm waters were perfect for our kids. We saw lots of wildlife including dolphins and manatees. The house was very spacious even for our party of 4 families. The pool was a great addition. Taylan was very responsive when we reached out. We had a great week and would stay there again!

We loved our stay! The home was beautiful located in the midst of pristine surroundings. The stars and moon at night were indescribably beautiful- as well as the sunsets. Staying at this property you can uniquely witness the sunrise over the Bay and sunset over the Gulf! Crazy beautiful and private. The backyard is delightful as well as the porch. We loved our visit at John’s beautiful home!

This is a beautiful house to stay in! It’s slightly more closer to other houses than we’re used to, but our neighbors were pleasant! The kitchen was spacious and we made so many good meals in it! There is plenty of space in the house to spread out if you start to get annoyed with your family! The shoreline is steps from the house, and there is only about a ten foot difference between high tide and low tide with a huge sandbar right in front of that stretch of the beach. The drive to groceries or restaurants isn’t far, especially compared to St. George Island. Choose this place for your next stay!

We enjoyed our stay at Kevin’s place in Port St. Joe. The area was beautiful and not overly crowded. We enjoyed exploring each day and the home was clean, well decorated, and just as described. The complex was well maintained and conveniently located. Kevin was very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. We would definitely recommend this home to anyone traveling to the area and would choose to stay here again.

10/10 would recommend to anyone and everyone. The house was beautifully decorated and had a very welcome and calming atmosphere. It definitely deserves the name "Hippies Nest". The location was slightly nestled away to give the feel of secludedness, while being close enough to the pool and other houses, and the perfect amount of shade for porch relaxing. It was also conveniently close to multiple beach acceses and restaurants. One of the best Airbnb's we've ever stayed in, and the first time we've been sad to leave. The host was also very friendly and informative anytime we had questions.

The home was beautiful. It was well appointed and had everything we needed. Loved having the golf cart available. We have vacationed in this area for the last few years and this was one of the best homes.

You will not go wrong when choosing this booking. This was by far one of the best stays we have stayed in at the beach. This was our first time to stay in Mexico Beach and it did not disappoint! Very convenient to the beach and pool is just right around the corner. Zach was very responsive with any questions that I had m. We would definitely book this house again.

I can’t begin to describe what an amazing beach house this was. It went above and beyond my expectations. I felt right at home as if it was my own. The distance to the beach was perfect. The neighborhood is quaint and quiet. I was able to take my dog for a few mile long walks around the neighborhood. The sunsets are beautiful as well as the early morning breeze that blows through the screened in porch. The swing on the porch was big enough to sleep on. And if you are lucky you might even get to hear, see and feel the jets fly over heading towards or away from the near by Air Force base. But don’t worry you would hardly know the base was there unless you knew ahead of time. There are many restaurants and a cute little downtown. There is a lighthouse in town and even a Sea Turtle Center. I would definitely recommend Lourdes’ Pink Door Vacay and cannot wait to go there again soon.

This was our first trip to the Port St. Joe area . We loved how beautiful the beach was and the neighborhood was so cute! The house was exactly like the pictures and the attention to detail was outstanding! We enjoyed all the amenities: the golf cart, the bikes and all the games were enjoyed by everyone! We liked the slower pace of the area and even though we went on a holiday weekend, we felt like the beach was still very relaxed. The house had everything we needed for cooking and for the beach , it was so nice to not have to pack all of those things! And the beds were super comfortable, especially the master bedroom! It was luxurious! Kate was so helpful and responded immediately when I had a few questions. We loved the Sunrise cafe for smoothies and ice cream and we also drove to nearby Mexico beach to shop and to Reid street to shop and eat several times. The PSJ grill was our favorite. We will definitely be returning!

Our family had a wonderful time at the Sandy blue Beach house. Kevin and Jennifer were wonderful host and communicated well. The house was well kept and clean. The house was also well stocked with all your needs and the kids really enjoyed the bikes. The beach is really close by and it also had a really great pool. We look forward to coming back and staying again.

We had a great time at the Sand Spur! Katy was so nice and very responsive to answer any question that I had! The house is in the perfect spot to check out the downtown area of Port St. Joe. We especially loved all of the shops on Reid Avenue (a short walk down the street.) We found ourselves getting delicious iced coffee at Sweet Bunz every day of our stay but were given some other recommendations for coffee very close by. The public beaches along the bay are just a short drive away! Our dogs especially loved this house. The fenced in yard was perfect to let them roam around and explore! We would love to visit again!

Very comfortable stay for us and our dogs. Fenced yard was so appreciated. Andy was very responsive to any questions we had. We would definitely stay here again.

This property was perfect! Clean, quiet, comfortable and super relaxing. Seaweed was apparently the worst it’s been in a while but it did not interfere with relaxing on the beach or swimming in the ocean. We chose to eat one evening in Port Saint Jo which offers a variety of great restaurants. Allisa was super helpful and wonderful to work with. Will book here again!

Great house in a cute cottage neighborhood! Steps from the pool, easily accessible to downtown PSJ! Charity was a great communicator and even let us know about local events during our stay!

We felt right at home staying at Palmer’s Airbnb. We enjoyed having the option to rent the golf cart to ride around town or ride us closer to the beach. The master bed was so comfortable. This Airbnb had everything you need for a beach day, including a wagon, chairs, umbrellas, and boogie boards. The neighborhood is so quiet and safe. We can’t wait to come back!

There is so much to say about this beautiful place. First— the location is incredible. The view of the bay is unbelievable. From the glass-like calmness of the water in the early morning to the sounds of the bay at night, every moment was breathtaking. This property has everything you need and everything you didn’t even know you wanted. The outdoor shower with hot water is the BEST thing after a long day at the state park near the end of the cape, a short drive away. The area is worth exploring and you will never run out of things to do. If you love the “nature beach” surroundings paired with the luxury of home…this is the place for you! One afternoon kayaking on the bay I had the privilege of gliding through the water along a full grown sea turtle. It was the coolest thing I’ve ever seen!! …let’s not forget to mention the nesting pair of eagles soaring above a few moments earlier. Deane and Karen are excellent hosts with a DO NOT MISS property!!
