In the middle of the East Frisian countryside, there is a 1-room apartment at your disposal, which contains a double bed for two people, but can be increased to 4-5 people by an existing sofa bed and another couch. The apartment has a separate entrance. The entire property is at your disposal for your relaxation. Your big and small four-legged darlings are also welcome! A horse box is still available in the stable. Otherwise, in summer there is plenty of space on the lush pastures. A riding arena is also available. In the apartment there is a small kitchenette with cooking facilities and a microwave. Wichtig war uns dabei, den ursprünglichen Charakter beizubehalten und diesen mit heutigem Wohnkomfort zu verbinden. Regionalität, Nachhaltigkeit und Individualität waren unser Kompass. Am Rande des historischen Dorfkerns in ruhiger Lage, nur einen Katzensprung zum Deich, zum Hafen und zur Fähre nach Ditzum.

There is the possibility to set up an existing travel crib for toddlers. In the living room there is a sofa bed which also offers two additional sleeping places. Daylight bathroom with shower, toilet and washing facilities. Spacious bright kitchen with up to five seats and high chair.

"Okko 14" Cozy townhouse with garden

The listed house was extensively renovated in 2020/21 with a lot of love. The tastefully furnished house has lost none of its charm and originality. Witnesses to its old age are the original parquet and plank floors in the living rooms and bedrooms and terrazzo floors in the kitchen. The house is very carefully furnished with beautiful softwood antiques. In sunshine, life takes place outside on the terrace in the enclosed garden.

Although the apartment is in my house, you have your own entrance area.

My place is close to Papenburg (Meyerwerft) and Leer with its beautiful historic old town. Since negative reviews are always left regarding the location. The property is located BETWEEN Papenburg and Leer. Both are about 12 km away. Shopping is ample in the village. Nearby is the amusement park at Emsdeich, where you can swim in the summer. My place is great for couples and business travelers. Private entrance.

Fantastic old building apartment in the heart of Emden

We have lovingly renovated this Art Nouveau house built in 1906 in one of the most beautiful streets of Emden on the Stadtwall. The more than 70sqm apartment is located on the ground floor. Here you can relax and feel good. The beautiful vintage wallpaper, high ceilings with stucco and the beautiful natural wood floors make the apartment something very special.

We spent ten wonderful days in the apartment of Elke and Erwin. We felt totally comfortable, we liked everything: plenty of space for both of us, the brightness in all rooms, the pleasure of eating in the living room or on the terrace overlooking the blooming and well-kept garden, the complete amenities of the house, the renovated and modern bathroom, the tranquility day and night... The house is ideally located for walking to the harbor, train station, city. It was also very nice to ride a lot of bikes in the area (Elke and Erwin:😉). The city of Emden and the surrounding area (Borkum Island, Norddeich, Leer...) allowed us to make interesting, natural and cultural discoveries. Elke and Erwin are also great hosts. We really appreciated their Friendliness, her kindness to help us organize a pleasant top stay without stress. Thank you both for everything, we will not forget you and our vacation in the "Garden Oasis"!

A cute cottage and super nice hosts. Everything you need is there, we were able to put the bikes in the shed. The location was perfect for us, the ferry to Ditzum is right around the corner. And Emden can be reached by bike in 20 minutes. We enjoyed the time and would be happy to come back.

We had a great stay. The apartment was super clean and very nicely decorated. We would book it again immediately. All around perfect.

Very satisfied once again. The apartment has everything you need for a few days. Clean, well furnished, a small area outside in front of the apartment. Close to the dike, many opportunities for hiking, dining, museums, etc.... Many thanks to our hosts and their family for so much warmth!

The kitchen features modern cabinetry in neutral tones, complemented by a wood-patterned countertop. Included are stainless steel appliances such as an oven, microwave, and coffee maker. Soft lighting is present under the kitchen cabinetry, adding functionality to the space.

We had a very enjoyable stay. Everything was as stated and met and even exceeded our expectations, they really invested in the accommodation. The dike right around the corner invites you to stroll and relax. The proximity to Emden invites you to daily excursions. Communication was also smooth and very pleasant. we will be happy to come back.

We were in Emden for work and did not arrive until the evening – the late check-in was not a problem at all. The apartment is very cozy and perfectly located, just a few steps away from beautiful restaurants. We were able to end the evening relaxed and take a short walk – Emden is really charming! Ulrich was very friendly and helpful. Thank you so much, we will be happy to come back!
