House in the Adirondacks and on Lake Champlain

KaylaRating, 5 stars9 months ago
we had a nice stay and it was fun to swim with our dogs and use the kayaks, beautiful peaceful views from the upper deck! can see all the way to vermont and the beach close by was an easier way for kids to swim. the rock beach is not pebble or river stones, it is large boulders. some safety issues particularly because we had small children with us.. but would recommend adding vertical rungs to the railings of the staircase inside and porch. the entrance to the dock was broken and dangerously patched with a plank. the driveway was hazardous although he forewarned us of that, we just didn’t understand the degree of difficulty that it really was. he was very responsive and it was clean.
The charming red chalet is surrounded by lush greenery, featuring a grassy lawn and a wooden deck with a red umbrella. A welcoming wreath adorns the front door, and steps lead to the elevated deck, enhancing the connection to the natural landscape.

Our family of four had a wonderful time in this charming and compact tiny home. Our two children, aged four and six, particularly enjoyed the upstairs and had a great time overall. This is an ideal spot for a weekend getaway, especially if you plan to explore the surrounding area. The hot tub provided a soothing and relaxing experience, making it a truly enjoyable getaway.

Historic Tucker Cottage on Lake Champlain

ShellyRating, 5 stars8 months ago
I was looking for a place that felt like “home away from home” since we were meeting our daughter and son-in-law for a New England fall weekend. This place absolutely met those expectations. We were able to prepare a meal together and share it at a lovely table in front of a fire. These are the type of things that are important to me, and this definitely felt like home. There is no higher compliment that I can give. The owners were super responsive. I would come back, for sure, and would recommend this beautiful lake front cabin.

A person stands on a metal bridge overlooking a winter scene. Ice formations cling to the rocky cliffs, while a partially frozen river flows below. Trees with snow-covered branches frame the scene, under a clear blue sky with scattered clouds in the background.

Lake House in the Adirondacks on 30 acres

JohnRating, 5 stars9 months ago
Had a great stay, things we loved doing were fishing the lake, camp fires down by the water and just hanging out. Ausable Chasm was an amazing trip during our stay. I would also highly recommend hiking Rattlesnake Mountain, it’s a short approximately 15 minute ride from Petr’s place.
A spacious kitchen features wooden cabinetry and a variety of appliances, including a stove, refrigerator, and dishwasher. Natural light enters through a window, highlighting the clean countertops and warm wooden ceiling. A ceiling fan provides ventilation, adding to the comfortable ambiance.

Charming Port Kent House

JayRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We are a family of two , stayed at Port Kent to visit Ausable Chasm and near by places. Not a long Drive to Chasm so we ended up spending time both in Chasm and in the House. We are 4 Adults and 3 Kids and house was perfect size for us. House was easy to find, Kitchen/Bathroom/Household essentials are all provided as advertised. Had enough parking space to load and unload things by the Entrance. Kids had a great time playing some in house board games and by the Hammock . We took a long walk around one evening and early morning for a near by scenic lake . It was a good scenic view and refreshing. Host Pamela was very understanding and responsive. Quiet place, Friendly neighborhood, Overall we had a memorable and comfortable stay at Port Kent. Highly Recommended!!!

Charles place is a perfect location to enjoy the lake views and the tranquil setting. The house is well outfitted for cooking meals and enjoying time inside and outside. The neighbors were very friendly and we enjoyed some time by the firepit with them one evening. Charles was a great host and I recommend a stay here anytime!

Cozy Adirondack Black Bear Hideout Plattsburgh Bay

HopeRating, 5 stars5 days ago
Colleen’s place was phenomenal. Very cozy and relaxing. She made us feel very welcome and right at home. She also had wonderful recommendations for the area, both food and activities. The restaurant she recommended was one of our favorites from the weekend. I would absolutely stay with her again! 😊
