Our home is located on the peaceful edge of Port Fairy overlooking one of Port Fairy’s beautiful south beaches.(please refer to updated map under our photos for exact location). Located in a quiet environment at the end of our 800 metres track from the Prince’s highway and a few steps from the water’s edge. Our home has the privilege of private beach access and magnificent ocean views. Both spacious rooms provide a rural outlook that is located off the edge of our family home courtyard.

A light-filled living area features a spacious blue couch with patterned cushions, positioned next to a modern chair. A flat-screen television is mounted on a white entertainment unit, with large glass doors opening to a private outdoor space. Natural light enhances the neutral decor.

The space is a simple attic/loft, set in a large garden with great views of the wetland and the ocean. We are a few minutes walk from Killarney beach which is a very safe swimming spot and Port Fairy is 10 minutes down the road. There is heaps of birdlife and when you are in the loft it feels a bit like a tree house. It has a compact bathroom and basic kitchenette with sink, microwave, kettle and bar fridge but no stove. Access is via an external spiral staircase.

A large deck spans the upstairs apartment which gives you amazing views and is perfect to enjoy a very relaxing holiday. The apartment is the upstairs section of a holiday house and has a private entrance. With the town within walking distance this apartment is a wonderful escape from reality.

Our place is great for enjoying laid back country life. You are just 1.5km to the middle of Port Fairy township with shops, cafes, pubs & beaches but also uniquely located in a country style setting. The cottage is set amongst our other independent accommodation. We do stress that the Cottage is located at the front of the property on Princes Highway so you do get road noise from trucks but we have had many guests stay, enjoy & the price reflects this.

A wooden deck features two chairs positioned beside potted topiary plants. Glass doors with vertical blinds provide access to the interior, enhancing the sense of outdoor space. Green hedges frame the entrance, contributing to a private atmosphere.

Our spacious, two-storied apartment is set in beautiful gardens behind our own home. Although near to our home, it is completely self-contained, has its own entrance and guests have complete privacy. Guests can and come and go as they please. It is a short stroll to the main street, restaurants and beaches. There is off-street parking.
