Our stay was perfect. The location couldn’t have been better. Peaceful. Nice to be out of downtown Ponta Delgada- but convenient enough to get to and enjoy the Festival and the city when we wanted to. The house is strategically located on the south shore and perfectly located to drive to the island’s sites. A couple very nice restaurants are within easy walking distance. The ocean pools are right across the street. We enjoyed whale watching, hiking and traversing the Island, seeing all the sites. Ludovic was a txt away and helped out whenever we needed! Our 8 day stay went by so quickly, but it was wonderful.

Beautiful quiet house with splendid views of the ocean. A car is required to move around but it is the perfect location to recharge quietly for a few days.

This place was a beautiful house, with a nice private backyard! We had some trouble in the parking area designated due to the narrow entrance, but parked near the church and found it much easier! We were visited frequently by Carla’s dog, Toby, and he even gave us a little tour of the area. Overall, we had a great time using Carla’s house as our base to explore the gorgeous island!

“Compact” apartment but it has everything one needs and is very comfortable. Well equipped kitchen, very comfortable bed, excellent Internet connection! Beautiful view of the city (south and east). The hosts were reactive and a pleasure to deal with. The apartment is in a quiet neighbourhood (and a quiet building) with a parking lot across the street. It is a walking distance to the city centre (shops and restaurants) and also to a larger shopping centre. I had a very pleasant stay.

Our stay here was nothing short of incredible. The location is unbeatable—waking up to the sound of the ocean and having panoramic views of the Atlantic from the property was a dream come true. The home was spotless, beautifully designed, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The host was welcoming and responsive. We loved the outdoor space where we enjoyed coffee in the mornings and some drinks at sunset. It truly felt like a peaceful retreat tucked away in paradise. Being so close to nature made this the perfect base for exploring the beauty of São Miguel. We can’t recommend this place enough!

mariana’s apartment is super comfortable and clean, great view and just some minutes away from a great beach, we had an amazing time there.

We loved our stay! You can see the ocean off one side of the patio. Walkable to marina and restaurants. Great space.

We stayed at Maria’s place for one week with our 11 month old baby as she provided all (and more) of the baby essentials (high chair, pack and play, baby bath, towel, shampoo, etc.). Many additional amenities and extras were provided which were appreciated, including a dropped off breakfast one morning. Overall, we loved our time at Maria’s place, having access to guaranteed, private parking was a huge plus! The only downfall was that for the first couple of days there was a musty smell, which dissipated throughout the week. Maria was very responsive and allowed us to check in several hours ahead of the listed time, which was great as we had an overnight flight!

10/10 recommend. Amazing stay that felt like home with a beautiful view. Mario was amazing and attentive as a host. Close to town with restaurants and the highway to get you where you need to be ASAP

The kids loved the pool, was quiet place, and lots of space. the beds were comfortable, the location was good. the view from the kitchen was fantastic.we loved that we had three showers and toilets.

The home is very beautiful and the pool area was pristine and idyllic! Sao Miguel weather is unpredictable so be mindful it may be too cold to use the pool. The closest restaurants are about 10 minutes away in Caloura. This area is extremely quiet so you will want to plan accordingly if you are looking for things to do!

One of my favorite places I've ever stayed. Spotless, spectacular views, central on harbor, small grocery shop two doors down. This high rise property is a rarity in Ponta Delgada The apartment is lovely, with every convenience considered, from sewing kits to notepads tucked into bedside drawers, chargers, umbrellas, games, music, the list goes on. Kitchen is well equipped, with lots of high quality cookware, plus cooking oil + basics like sugar + rice. Laundry works well. Parking included. Bruno is responsive and knowledgeable. He had great tips for the Azores. We did a family vacation with lots of hikes, surfing, hot springs etc. Would absolutely return.

Great! The duplex apartment is high-quality, clean and well located. The welcome treats and the folder with information are a great idea. Without her, we wouldn't have discovered the delicious queijadas from the nearby shop. On both floors there is a nice bathroom with shower and a TV and bedroom. Upstairs there is a couch and if you go out on the balcony and look over the wall, you can see the Baixo island. There are also balcony chairs and a table. Laundry rack, somewhat hidden behind a door on the balcony, available. Since the apartment is actually much too large for two people, we stayed on the lower floor. The kitchen is very well equipped. There are restaurants and supermarkets in the area. Parking at the property in the evening is rather unavailable. There is a public parking lot nearby. This was probably our best Airbnb experience ever! A stunning, stylish oceanfront cottage — a true dream. We traveled with our 7-month-old baby and were amazed to find not only a crib, but also a baby bathtub and even a feeding bottle. Such a thoughtful touch! The house is beautifully decorated, cozy, and fully equipped. It felt like a peaceful retreat — we loved relaxing, watching the waves, and enjoying the privacy. The beds were super comfortable, with quality linens and towels. The home was warm and welcoming, with a lovely patio and even a telescope and binoculars to admire the ocean. There were also delicious local treats waiting for us, which made us feel even more at home. Special thanks for the late check-out — it allowed us to enjoy our final morning stress-free. We absolutely loved our stay and would return in a heartbeat!

We loved getting to stay here, the location was beautiful and the home was very clean and had everything we needed to stay for about a week. The view from the front porch was perfect for having a glass of wine after exploring all day. We would absolutely stay here again!

Great location right at the fishing port (Porto Dos Carneiros) and walkable to the municipal pools/natural pools of Lagoa (Complexo Municipal de Piscinas da Lagoa). The kids loved the natural pools and the facility and spent the better part of two days there. We went to the restaurant that is right across the way Boca Aberta and had some lovely seafood and was one of the best meals we had on our trip. The house is nice and clean with a nice kitchen and common area which overlooks the port. Loved our stay here.

The stay at Joao's place was unbeatable. Always attentive to everything, he had prepared bakery bread, milk, water, butter and a delicious homemade jam. Very comfortable beds, and everything in general is great. He gave us many recommendations for places to visit depending on the weather and different activities we could do. If we return, we will certainly repeat here, and we will recommend it to friends or family who come in the future. A 10!

We were three for 5 nights in Roberto's apartment and it corresponded exactly to our ideas - the communication was flawless and especially the in-house rental car was extremely helpful. Really highly recommended as a total package!

We loved our stay at Miguel's place. The place felt like our home on the beautiful Sao Miguel island. We loved the pieceful location, the house that had everything we needed, the beautiful outside space and the views over the green fields and the ocean. Miguel was a great host, he welcomed us for a late check-in, surprised us with a selection of local food and wine and gave us excellent recommendations as to where to go and some really nice restaurants to visit. What a wonderful place - definitely one of the nicest Airbnb’s we’ve ever stayed at! This is truly a Villa with a beautifully restored 1886 Azorian stone house sitting on over an acre of green space overlooking the ocean! Beautifully furnished house and full kitchen - more than enough space for a family. The hosts were very nice and had excellent communication. Highly recommend this place! Note that there are no restaurants, cafes or shops in this small town - it is a small quiet community, which is why we chose it. Cooked in several nights, otherwise it’s a quick 8-15 min drive to a wide selection of restaurants.
