This home is located in a quiet neighborhood and a quiet town close to the Salt Plains National Wildlife Refuge which provides birding, and beautiful views. There are many other interesting sites within a short drive; the perfect getaway.

The Pecan Cabin is in the middle of a pecan orchard. It is built out of pecan wood. There is much wildlife around the cabin. We often see deer, wild turkeys, armadillo, squirrels, hawks, racoon, and coyote. It is very quiet and peaceful. A great place for star gazing. This is a working pecan orchard. You may see us, mowing, pruning and generally taking care of the trees. There is no hunting on this property. The land is leased for hunting, but they do not hunt in the pecan grove.

When I say 5 stars aren’t enough to rate our experience, I mean just that. The home is absolutely beautiful. It’s just as the pictures described it to be. The location is private as well as convenient. Martin went above and beyond to make sure our stay was top tier. Support was not needed (because everything functioned perfectly) however, he still checked in to see if anything was needed. If you’re reading this review, you are at the right place! absolutely wonderful place to stay! so quite and peaceful. the hosts are so friendly and very responsive. we booked our stay to go to the salt plains and this air BNB was the perfect place to come back and relax after a long day. very clean and cozy. I highly recommend and we would definitely book again.

The location was easy to locate as it is on a main street. The host, Caroline, provided snacks (granola bars and popcorn) which was appreciated after a two hour drive. Each bedroom had cell phone chargers in case you forgot to pack one:)
