This place was great! Worked perfect for us and our two dogs. The space was very quiet and inviting and felt great to crash into after a long day. The interior is cute and friendly, and I really appreciated the provided amenities for both humans and fur babies. There's a good-sized yard for dog potty breaks—not securely fenced for a large or jumpy dog, but we could take them out on a leash and still have privacy. I only had one small and very fixable complaint: it could really use an AC unit, even a standalone or window unit, since the temps regularly hit the high 80s and 90s in the summer. We stayed in the downstairs bedroom because the upstairs was too warm to be comfortable, even when it didn't get above 75° outside.

We had a wonderful stay at Steeves property. The home is nestled in a prime West Salem location with stunning views — perfect for enjoying your morning coffee or winding down at sunset. Inside, the space has an eclectic vibe that makes it both comfortable and full of character. The fresh flowers and plants were a sweet touch that made us feel right at home. Highly recommend for anyone looking to relax in a scenic, peaceful setting!

A delightful, lovingly restored, peaceful, and clean cottage! Every detail was so thoughtfully designed. A great place to recoup after the fun whirlwind of our niece’s graduation in nearby Monmouth. Chris and Iris were wonderful hosts and so was our stay!

Molly really created a sweet and memorable experience with her newly remodeled rental accommodation. The home is extremely clean and is nestled within a quiet neighborhood. Additionally, her communication was warm and welcoming.

We stayed at Rishel’s house while we were in town for Willamette University’s graduation. It was a fantastic home base for us-a short drive to campus and lots of stores and restaurants close by. We had a perfect stay! Thanks :)

Sandy was a wonderful host! Very helpful and responsive. I think this was a newer listing for her, so i did have to reach out about a few little things, but nothing major and she was very responsive and helpful. Her pictures of the place had extra spaces in them that we didnt have access to at the time. Which wasn't a big deal for us, since we we had other activities and werent there much. But it could be misleading if someone was just looking at the pics. I feel like her description of the place was accruate, just had some extra pictures of yard and home that weren't available. Would highly recommend Sandy and would love to stay here again! Her home was so cozy and welcoming.

We enjoyed our stay at Antlerwood Hollow! Clean and comfy on the inside, beautiful and peaceful on the outside! A nice retreat just minutes from the hubbub of Salem.

I would HIGHLY recommend this place to anybody looking for a peaceful, serene getaway in Willamette Valley wine country. From the moment we stepped inside, we couldn’t believe how thoughtful everything was—from a bottle of wine to a personal welcome note! This place had everything we needed to enjoy the tranquility of a relaxing weekend getaway. We were also traveling with our dog, and they made sure to have everything we needed so she could enjoy her stay as well. Would absolutely love to stay here again!

The hobbit house was very charming. It was easy to find and the host was available for any questions we had. perfect for a couples getaway. It was very peaceful and quiet. It is in Salem but not in the heart of it so there was plenty to do and at the end of the day we got back and we're able to relax. Also as a bonus we woke up on our last day and opened the door to see 2 white geese. They seemed friendly enough. Would recommend.

The house we stayed at was so much fun, the backyard was huge and had a huge playplace for our young kiddo and puppy to play on. Our teens were ecstatic with the game room and hot tub, and us adults had so much space to cook and grill and spend much needed quality time together. Anytime we needed groceries there was a variety of stores nearby and the people in the community were kind and helpful too. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. Our hosts were great, and only a quick text message away. We are so thankful for the time we had in this amazing home.

Susan and Joe’s house was stunning! The backyard area was much bigger than we expected. Our pup loved running around the large field. The hot tub was great! We didn’t get to make a fire but it was conveniently right outside our door. They had TONS of games to play, from board games to digital and console games! We found guitar hero on PlayStation in the front and that was really fun. They left us some snacks in the kitchen- bagels, oatmeal, etc. The Keurig coffee was nice. Everything was well thought out and much appreciated. The beds and bedding were all comfortable too. The restroom had a lovely heater feature for when you get out of the shower too. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay!

This home is very peaceful and private with a lot of outdoor space. Our three families for graduation were able to spread out to play ping pong, air hockey, pickleball, roast marshmallows, take walks, run around, etc…. However, for the cost, sleeping was a tight squeeze with only five bedrooms and a loft. As well, the hot tub was not cleaned before we arrived.

Our host was so kind, accompdating, and the home was prepped and ready for us with such intention we felt so welcomed. Our stay here with our family was absolutely amazing. The rooms, space, toys, and outdoor backyard area was perfect for our family and young ones. This will be our go to stay when we make travel plans from California to Oregon

Terri was incredibly communicative and so easy to book with. The house was the perfect size for the 8 of us and our dog and we especially loved the back patio and the grill. I’d recommend this spot to anyone.

We were there for a quick overnight before a graduation. Cob House is wonderful - very peaceful and warm; great energy. Interior is bigger than the photos suggest. Every detail seems well thought through and it has everything you really need. Cooking in the house is possible - the induction cooktop works well - but there is not a lot of prep space and cleanup space so plan accordingly for that. Fridge is small but mighty. Bed is very comfortable. Grounds are wonderful and nice to stroll around and the area is very quiet. Welcome book has many helpful thoughts and suggestions including the following: If you stay here by all means walk up the hill to the cemetery for sunset or really at any time. The view, light, serenity and beauty along the way and at the top are amazing. You can drive there too but walk if you can. Awesome place. Hope to visit again for a bit longer.

Jessica was a great host, nice clean cottage on a cool little farm. Perfect spot to stay while picking up my daughter from school.
