Our cosy hut consists of a comfortable bedroom with an enchanted view of Assaroe Lake: enjoy it on our 3 deckings! The cabin is very close to our house but secluded from it, buried in the woods. The room provides a tranquill escape from frantic life:- there’s no television or WiFi, just a radio. Kitchen facilities are basic but functional. We provide the basis for a continental breakfast. Beaches and hiking trails are very close by. WE ACCEPT PETS ONLY AFTER CONSULTATION WITH THEIR OWNER.

Mary‘s accommodation was absolutely wonderful., warm, cozy, and thoughtfully decorated. I felt very welcome, especially with the generous food. Thank you so much. The place is extremely well equipped (even an air fryer!) The bed was incredibly comfortable. I slept so well. The bathroom was also a highlight, with a large shower, lovely warm water, and a heated towel rack, such a treat! I also appreciated the smart little details, like the bedside light switch. The town itself is extremely charming and very clean, and the whole area is just beautiful – peaceful, well-kept, and perfect for walking or hiking. Mary was a pleasure to write to – so kind and caring. Thank you Mary so so much 🩷

Brian was extremely helpful and in particular very flexible with check-in and check-out, allowing us to get in very early on the day of arrival so our jet-lagged children could get some much needed sleep. He was always very responsive and the accommodation was excellent. Highly recommended for future stays.

We had just completed a 107km charity walk when we arrived, completely exhausted. From the moment we got there, our host went above and beyond to make sure we were looked after. Not only was the place perfect for recovery, but they also went out of their way to buy us chipper chips, cakes, and other thoughtful treats—completely unprompted. It was such a kind and generous gesture that meant the world to us after such a long journey. Their warmth, care, and incredible hospitality made our stay unforgettable. Could not recommend them more highly!
