Beachfront vacation rentals in Poipu, Koloa

Absolutely loved our stay at this Airbnb in Kauai! The views were breathtaking—we couldn’t get enough of watching the ocean right from the property. The space was spotless and felt super comfortable, and Brandi was a fantastic host—friendly, responsive, and made everything easy from start to finish. But the real magic? Sleeping with the windows open and hearing the waves crash all night long. It was like having a real-life sound machine, only better. So peaceful and relaxing—we’ve never slept so well! Would come back in a heartbeat. Highly recommend!

When we return to Kauai, our trip will be based around when we can book C5, as we felt everything was amazing and perfect for our liking. Thank you Greg!!

Craig’s condo was the perfect place! Located in Princeville close to many restaurants, beaches, and walking trails. The condo offered great light and was spacious. Although it was just two of us (and our pup), the condo could comfortably accommodate a family or group. We would definitely recommend for a vacation in the Princeville/Hanalei area.

Great condo in a great resort! Waking up to the view in the backyard is all I have to say. Absolutely gorgeous. In addition to that, the condo itself was wonderful. Extremely spacious. The host was great, as well. I would definitely stay here again! Just a great experience overall.

Evans was an amazing host! He gave us plenty of local recommendations, and even lent us some of his own belongings to use for the beach! Very gracious and hospitable!

Cari was very helpful & kind in allowing us to check in early and in helping us get acquainted w the area. Beautiful property, with all the supplies we could need. If I go back in fall through spring, I’d definitely stay there. But it was very warm at night sleeping without AC in June.

We have stayed at several places in Kauai and by far this one has been the best. The host is very responsive and was accommodating to our schedules. The condo is spectacular, very clean, it has lots of open space, vaulted ceilings, big bedrooms and bathrooms. Everything is very high end and works well, including the A/C which kept us very cool. The view from the lenai was the best part, it’s breath taking and the pictures don’t do it justice. We were able to watch sunrises, moonrises and it is covered so it kept us dry if it rained. There is even a front porch extending from the guest room where you can see the mountains and a peek of the sunset. The location is great as there is a beautiful beach you can easily hike to from there. Otherwise it’s a short drive to numerous other beaches. I highly recommended this condo, it has everything you would need and want to have a relaxed and comfortable stay. We are already planning to book the condo again the next time we come back!

If you want to have a true Hawaiian experience; you should stay at this place. Absolutely amazing views, the sea just outside your house. The apartment is well equipped and so wonderful decorated. At arrival there were some snacks and candy on the table. 😃 We enjoyed the XL balcony in the morning, enjoying the view with a cup of coffee ( coffee and tea is also provided ). And we liked it so much that there are no windows ( except the doors to the terrace) it’s all shades so you experience the ocean breeze in the house. Shower is great. Parking in front of the building. Shops and restaurants at walking distance. We are definitely visit this place again. Highly recommended.

We truly enjoyed the time we spent there! Twice previously we visited Kauai and stayed on base at the Barking Sands cottages and they were great too. This time though, we decided to stay in Poipu, our favorite beach. The location is great as it's not terribly far back to Lihue. Seeing the turtles at PoiPu beach come in for the eve ing was great. Kukuiula Harbor isn't far and that's a place to swim with far less surf. Plus, I fly fished from the pier there. One day we walked the Maha'ulepu Heritage Trail out from Shipwreck Beach. Sprouting Horn was a stop nearby one day. The McBryde Allerton garden had a tour and sunset dinner we took one evening. The Ke Ala Hele Makalae, Multiuse Path in Kaapa was a nice walk along the coast. There are many places nearby to eat. Yet, we grilled on one of the many shared grills throughout the property. The food was found in Koloa where there's a fish market and grocery, Big Save. The grounds are beautiful, the grass is like carpet, and is well tended.

Absolutely perfect! It’s a double condo with tons of space and a double lanai with beautiful views. Truly our best air bnb stay yet. Princeville is gorgeous and the Hanalei Bay Resort has great amenities, two good restaurants, two pools access to the beach and a beach bar. Spectacular!

Rudy’s place was fantastic! It was clean and just as described. Others mentioned the road noise in their reviews, but we didn’t notice it at all and felt it was quiet. The location is fantastic! Rudy and Rose went above and beyond when they found out we were there for our honeymoon. They were super responsive and also provided local recommendations when asked. Would stay there again! The unit is near a small shopping complex and wonderful local coffee place. It was walkable to many great restaurants as well! I would recommend this unit to family and friends as well!

This was our first visit to Kauai and this spot was perfect! It was great for me and my husband and our 13 year old twins. We had plenty of space, the kitchen and washer/dryer were great amenities. We enjoyed coffee on the balcony every morning and the view was lovely. Location great for all activities we engaged in. Enas was a responsive host and the car was an added convenience! We would certainly stay again! Thank you!

My husband and I stayed five nights at Kevin’s place. It was very peaceful and private. We appreciated being able to borrow a cooler, beach chairs and towels and snorkeling equipment. Having the washer and dryer available was an added bonus! The gardens and grounds are gorgeous. The Maha'ulepu Heritage Trail, Shipwreck Beach and restaurants at the Grand Hyatt are all within walking distance. Would love to return!

We had a fantastic stay at Heather & Khaled’s Airbnb. Khaled was very responsive and really friendly! The place was very clean and spacious. The view is spectacular- can’t beat the sound of the waves! Some things we really appreciated that we did not see in other comments that I wanted to highlight: Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash are all provided. The BBQ grill does NOT need charcoal - it is ready to use and has all the supplies needed. The bed comes with a soft blanket (as someone who NEEDS a soft blanket when I sleep, this was great). There is a ceiling fan if you are someone that can’t sleep without a fan! We would absolutely recommend this place to everyone. It’s the mid point between north and south side of this island. Has great food and grocery stores nearby all within walking distance.

We had a wonderful stay in this condo and would 10/10 recommend if you are in Po’ipu. It had everything we needed and we felt right at home. There was a door in the hallway that separated us from the other units, which made things feel more private. Also, the balcony was wonderful and felt private as well.

Great condo, quiet location yet close to beaches and restaurants. Very comfortable, everything you need for relaxing time. Charles was very responsive to any of our questions. I highly recommend this property for a great vacation spot. We will definitely be back. Kauai is an amazing place to visit, you won't want to leave.

We loved our stay at Sonia’s place!The beachfront location is the best on Kauai and the unit feels very upgraded with nice, comfortable furnishings and amenities. We especially enjoyed the high top patio table to enjoy views of the surf, turtles & sunsets everyday. Sonia was easy to communicate with and made every effort to ensure we had a very pleasant stay. We appreciated that the unit’s kitchen was well-stocked with all the necessities and much more! We aim to visit Kiahuna/ Kauai every year and unit 198 is the best of the best! Mahalo!

We had a great stay at Kate’s Airbnb in Kaua’i! The location was perfect—close to great restaurants and centrally located, making it easy to get anywhere on the island. The beach access and grounds were beautiful and very well maintained. Would definitely stay again!

Nice Condo w/ the most BEAUTIFUL View Ever! Appreciated the beach chairs, umbrella & cooler! Liked having the front wooden door you could open & let the air come thru the unit by opening the slider to the ocean air. Overall just a great place to stay in southern Kauai. A/C so nice to have & kept us plenty cool! Felt safe as well! You cannot bet the view & the sound of the ocean waves -- seeing a few sea turtles below was a bonus!

Absolutely amazing. Perfect place for a couple. Clarifying- pool and lanai are not private - pool shared by all condos and lanai with neighboring unit. Also be aware condos above you with decks that look down on your lanai. So not quite as private as expected from pictures. It is still a great place.
