Beach house vacation rentals in Plum Island, Newburyport

I recently spent three wonderful days at this beach house with my friends for a girls' trip, and despite the less-than-ideal weather, we had a fantastic time! The house was impeccably clean and well-maintained, which made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The location was absolutely perfect — just a stone's throw from the beach and close to some lovely nearby attractions. We enjoyed exploring the surrounding areas, which were charming and full of character. Even though we encountered some rain, the cozy atmosphere of the house provided the perfect setting for our bonding time. We made the most of it with games, movies, and laughter. I highly recommend this beach house for anyone looking to enjoy a getaway, no matter the weather. We can't wait to come back!

Sharon was super accommodating! She was flexible when we had multiple cars instead of one because of hair and makeup people coming for our elopement ceremony! Beautiful house, location, everything.

Oh my goodness. This place was a DREAM. Such a beautiful home with a view you can’t top. My husband and I stayed with our children and two friends for an east coast summer getaway and we could not have found a better place. Awesome setup, view, and Gaby could not have been more helpful. We would love to stay here again.

This house was great! We had a corporate offsite event with about 12-13 people for 2 days and it was very spacious. Parking fit about 5 cars which was helpful and it is very walkable to the beach and restaurants. The outdoor areas at the house were also very spacious which was great. Would highly recommend for any large groups.

We stayed as an extended family of 6 adults, 3 kids and 1 small dog, for a family member's big birthday. Everyone had a wonderful time. The house is gorgeous. There were actually 5 bedrooms each with a queen bed, which is more than what was described, so that's fine. There was everything we needed, except maybe they ran out of dishwasher detergent, but that was easy for us to get on our own. We love that the property is so close to restaurants, seafood market, a music / event hall and arcade. The beach was sandy and just lovely. Jenn and Matt replied quickly whenever we had a question.

The view is even better than the photo’s show! The place is peaceful and relaxing. Being able to have a short walk to the lobster pound was a bonus and it was delicious. Very nice grocery store near by that has prepared meals and amazing meats and seafood. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. Scott had great recommendations and was always fast to respond. I would stay here again for sure!

We spent the weekend here catching up with friends and couldn’t have asked for a better spot. The house was cozy and welcoming from the moment we arrived, with beautiful views all around. We’re so thankful we got to stay and make the most of it. There’s so much to do nearby, and it’s just a quick drive to Portsmouth, NH, which has so many great places to explore. Rachel also shared some fantastic recommendations that made our trip even better.

Great stay, near the beach on a quiet street. Loved the beach chairs, the beach trolley and all the beach accessories available to us. I recommend staying here, we still definitely be back !

Accomodations exactly as shown in pictures. Kitchen is definitely well equipped with all of the essentials and more. Ice cream shop right next door is great and The Lobster Pound on the other side is excellent. You can walk to shops and restaurants downtown but we had no problem finding parking in the evening so we could enjoy the awesome restaurants.

Very nice place, everything was clean and smelling good, we felt right at home! Comfortable beds except the single one which we could feel the springs. Expensive parking everywhere near the beach, be advised, but free parking at the house. Everyone at the place was friendly. The only thing mmissing would be coffee pods, for the rest, everything was there!

What can I say? They’ve thought of everything to make you feel welcome and right at home! Special snacks awaiting the kids with breakfast items already thought of! The indoor pool and hot tub were perfect for every day of our stay! The rooms were comfortable and felt right at home! Thank you for a perfect and memorable stay!

Amy was very responsive and communicative. The house was clean and maps took us right to the home. It was too early in the season to enjoy the pool but it was pristine and would have been great for hot summer weather. Amy was wonderful with trying to accomodate any requests and we liked the location from easy access to Salem and within a one hour drive to Boston!

Susan was a truly wonderful host, so gracious, thoughtful and kind. Her home was perfect for my husband and 2 young boys. House was immaculately clean. Beds were super comfy, the 2nd floor rooms had plenty of space and my boys loved the bed nooks on the 3rd floor. We enjoyed the porch chairs at night. Beautiful beach was nearby, and Susan had all the beach items ready for us to enjoy. Lots of excellent dining options within a 5-10min drive and close to Ogunquit downtown. Susan left a book of local recommendations which included all the menus from local restaurants which we found helpful in deciding where to dine. Susan shared excellent recommendations on beaches and local activities and knows the area well. Location was perfect. We would love to come back, thank you so much Susan!

Had a great time in Rockport! Walkable down to Bearskin neck and the pool was great!

I really enjoyed staying at Ryan’s place which was very cozy and felt like home. Thoroughly enjoyed the location and the community his home was part of. Ryan was extremely helpful and understanding. On the last day of our trip, we had flat tyre unfortunately. Ryan was kind enough to allow me to use his home after we checked out. That explains how considerate he is towards his guests. I will definitely come back again and stay for a longer period of time:) Thanks Ryan!!

We loved our stay at The Lazy Lobster!! Andrew was a very communicative host. He thought of every possible thing we might need help with before we even knew we needed it! The house was beautiful and included every amenity we needed and details were well thought out. We especially enjoyed playing games in the living room, hanging in the hot tub/pool, and the wagon to carry all of our gear to the beach. It was the perfect stay for a group beach trip!

One of best places we have ever rent. Amazing well equipped with everything we needed. Far exceeded what most places provide. Kevin was a great host from the beginning and the location of the house was beyond charming. Hope we can return someday.

Annisquam Bridge House is an incredible location to soak up the beauty of Cape Ann. With the footbridge almost at your doorstep, you can walk easily over to Annisquam, which has to be one of the prettiest places in New England. You can also swim, kayak or SUP from the public dock halfway across the bridge. Heaven! The apartment is cozy, comfortable and beautifully decorated. It’s easy to get anywhere in Gloucester you want or need to go with its great restaurants, beautiful beaches, and a unique atmosphere. We can’t wait to book for next summer!

Had an amazing time with family and loved every minute of it. A 3 minute walk from the beach and the home is beautiful.

Beautiful place to stay! Mckenna and Ryan were very responsive and helpful prior and during our stay. The place is very clean and homey, very peaceful and right on the water. Everything was walking distance and was great to have a delicious restaurant across the street. We came with our baby and dog and had everything there we needed for a comfortable stay. Would highly recommend!

What a great stay!!! My bridal party got ready for my wedding here and we had such an amazing time! Spacious, great light, easy to find. Definitely recommend to vacationers and wedding parties!

Our family of 5 (2 parents and 3 teens/tween) had a wonderful stay at Tom’s beach home. We enjoyed the comfortable beds, the ocean view from almost every room, the fun toys/games, and the well-chosen decor. The house had anything we could possibly need for a stay at the beach. We loved spending time in the beautifully landscaped yard listening to the birds, watching the sun rise and set on the waves, and swinging on the swing. It was just a 10 minute drive to groceries at Market Basket, and a 10 minute walk to an amazing beach. Tom was a great host. Thank you!

We really enjoyed our stay at Jacob’s place. The house is fully stocked and completely kid friendly; there are even baby gates at each set of stairs! We took full advantage of being just steps away from the beach and the main streets of Rockport. We were a group of 9 (7 adults and 2 kids ages 3 and 1) and never felt too crowded in the home. We would love to stay here again in the future!

My husband and I chose to stay at Lisa’s beach house for a quick visit to Boston to finish out our vacation week in Maine. The house was beautiful, clean, and spacious. The neighborhood felt very safe, and the house was just a short stroll down to the beach. Lisa was the best host I’ve ever worked with! She was so responsive and checked on us frequently and had great respect for our privacy. She also gave us great tips and recommendations for the area. The only thing I’d like to mention is that the beach house does have a connected guest house that also gets rented out, but they do have separate entrances/locked doors between them. I don’t recall seeing that mentioned anywhere in the description, so we were just surprised by it, but we had no issues during our short stay. We’d love to come back again and spend more time in Salisbury!
