In a Faluröd log cabin on a farm, you will have the opportunity to experience the best Dalarna can offer. In the heart of Siljansnäs you will find this small farm cottage with room for three people. The cottage was renovated 2023, the bathroom 2018. Within walking distance there is a kiosk and grocery store as well as a little further up the village there is a cafe, hotel and mini golf. 200 meters from the front door is Byrviken, an excellent swimming area. Within a 20 minute drive there is also Tegera Arena, Granberget's ski slope and cross-country skiing.

A wooden deck leads to a charming entrance with two white chairs beside a small table. A sheltered pergola provides a shaded seating area, while lush greenery surrounds the property, and a clear blue sky completes the serene outdoor setting.

Air heater pump that regulates the temperature in the house, and floor heating. The residence is 50 metres from low-traffic road. You have 1.5 km to restaurants in Tällberg, and 500 meters to Siljan. There are nice walking paths in the forest, along Siljan.

Charming old guesthouse on farm from 1663, located between Leksand and Rättvik. The farm is surrounded by fields, forest, beautiful mountains, and a nearby lake. Lots of nice old touches left, such as wood stove and working tile oven in the bedroom. Bathroom with shower, kitchen with seating and a double bedroom with armchairs. Upstairs there is a double bed+single bed, as well as a dresser with games and toys to borrow Blackout curtains in both bedrooms. sofa, table and chaise lounge, with beautiful views. Welcome!

It is about 5 km to Tällberg and 7 km to Leksand. There is space to park a car next to the shelter in the yard. Shower and toilet have a separate entrance downstairs. Cleaning is not included.

We recommend minimum three nights - there is much to see and experience, for all ages, in the area.

Incredibly cozy accommodation. Quiet and secluded with beautiful views but still excellent location for day trips to Rättvik/Falun/Leksand. We received a very friendly welcome and the whole stay felt easy and comfortable. We would gladly come back :)

Had an absolutely fantastic stay. Highly recommend! Extra nice with shampoo, conditioner, soap, body lotion, laundry detergent, OB, etc. that were offered. Not to mention all the nice touches that gave an extra golden edge to life. And the view from the bedroom window. Will gladly come back. Thank you❤️

Beautiful Sunnanäng/ Leksand

Sunnanäng is a great place to stay. Close to Leksand, Tällberg or the waterland. At Karin and Joel's, you live undisturbed. Good parking. Netflix and Viaplay to entertain yourself with if you feel like it. Sheep walking in the pasture next door, cows grazing further away. Swimming area just minutes away. Very nice host couple.
