Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Plaka, Athens

Could not recommend this place more. Old charm with modern amenities, very quiet neighbourhood and easily walkable to all major sites. Christos is extremely kind and greeted us the first day. A great person to converse with. Book this place for Athens.

This apartment is just WOW, whether you are sitting on the front verandah or on the top deck. The view of Acropolis is just breathing. Gianni is the best host ever. His responses were super fast and helpful. He can help with food, islands, what to do, wine etc. Apartment was so comfortable, that we didn't want to leave. Gianni has everything what you need. Not going to mention, olive oil, spices, the herbs etc. We were so grateful to stay there and can't wait to go back again. Thank you so much for all your help, Gianni.

Marios was an incredible host even before we arrived. He gave us precise indications and was waiting for us at the house when we arrived. The apartment is very well located with many options around for food and also walking distance from places like Acropolis, Plaka, etc. The apartment is nice, just as advertised and Mario was very helpful with local tips as well. Definitely recommended!

This is the second time we stayed at Anna’s place in Planka. Anna let us check in early because the apartment was ready. This really helped my family. We loved how close we were to all the main sights and to great places to eat. If you are visiting Athens and want a place with 4 rooms and close to everything, book this apartment.

We stayed at two Versaweiss properties and I just fall in love with both of them. Fit a family of 7 or more. The locations were so great, within minutes to main city center attractions and to the Acropolis. The hots Dimitris and Eleni were awesome, always attentive and ensuring we were fine. When I return to Athens, I will definitely use one of their properties again!!! Patricia

Everything went super well. The hosts were easy and kind. The place was clean (a little too clean 😅 for me because I don’t seem to go well with highly scented sheets but the problem was rectified easily). It’s central and super convenient to anywhere. The kitchen is really well equipped too!

Had great stay. Communication before, during and after great. Location cannot be beat. Overall would recommend this unit for a couple or single person who wants to be close to all of the action in Plaka. It on a quiet street. Thank you Pantellis.

The location was amazing! Less than a 10 min walk to the Acropolis and many other beautiful sites. The apartment was lovely had everything we needed for a wonderful stay!

Olga was super nice and helpful. Her apartment is amazing, with nice rooms, comfy bed, AC in each room and amazing kitchen, wc and balcony looking at the Acropolis. Also helped arrange rides to the airport at no time. Thank you so much! Would definitely stay there again

Super super convenient location in the heart of Monastiraki. It was also very quiet inside the apartment even though the district itself is quite lively till the late hours of the night. Best Airbnb we could have picked for our sightseeing during two days in Athens!

Highly recommend! Totally pleased with this apartment! Great space, clean and very welcoming. Great to have extra pillows for bed. We didn’t cook but kitchen is well stocked. Cris was very helpful and kind and the manual contained all instructions needed to make use of the apartment. Most of all, we loved the balcony with the Acropolis view!

We had a great stay in the Penthouse and really enjoyed the views...do be aware that this place is on a steep hill and there are a lot of stairs to go anywhere...it can be taxing in the heat and we had trouble getting a regular Taxi, but Uber generally worked well and 2 out of 3 came as taxi anyway. There is a nice restaurant nearby and only down one flight of stairs, called Filippou..great food, good prices..Try the fried Feta cheese. Responsive host. We would stay again.

Toni’s place was great for a quick stay in Athens! It’s in a great neighbourhood with lots of shops and restaurants (albeit Plaka is very touristy). It was close to two metro stations and walking distance to the acropolis and everything you want in Athens.

We really enjoyed our stay. The location is great for visiting Athens, walkable to all the tourist attractions and so many great cafes and restaurants nearby. The bed was extremely comfortable, allowing us to recharge before a big day. Bill and George were amazing hosts, arranging reliable transport for us from the airport and to the port. We’ll stay here again on our next trip to Athens. Thank you!

We loved staying at Athina ‘s place - it was clean very well air conditioned and so central - we had a one night stop on our way to the islands - we enjoyed a late night walk visiting the ancient sites - the acropolis was only a 12 minute walk away - so near to the metro for our trip to the port the next day - it was the perfect place to stay for our one evening in Athens . We’ll be back again I’m sure !!

John’s place was great! The views for the huge balcony/terrace were incredible. We were there for 2 nights and able to walk restaurants, cool little neighborhoods and the Acropolis. His place is located deep in the center of the city. Highly recommend taxi or public transit. Again, views were outstanding!!

If you are viewing Paschalis’ listing and it’s available, book it. Don’t hesitate. It is in the best neighborhood with incredible views of the Acropolis. Our only wish was that the bed was facing the balcony so we could stare at the view all night. There are so many great bars and restaurants within short walking distance. It’s such a vibrant area but it wasn’t loud in the apartment. Well he returning to Athens soon and can only hope to stay here again!

Yannis and Tax were amazing hosts! Always responsive to our needs, made the check in very seamless, and even allowed us to check out later as we had a later ferry. Super helpful people! The place is a very short walk to major attractions like the acropolis and plaka, which was amazing. One thing to note is it can be quite loud at night next to a busy street. The strong AC was also nice to come home to after a long day out in high temperatures. Overall a great, comfortable place to explore Athens from!

Natasa and Sotiris were wonderful hosts! Very quick responses to any questions we had during our stay and provided clear instructions for check-in and check-out. The location was perfect, as everything was walkable. The apartment is also right near a subway stop, so we were able to easily access public transit as well. We felt very welcome and appreciated by the hosts. Highly recommend!!

The place was a great. It was nice to be on a neighborhood a little away from the crowds. It was peaceful on the terrace. There were two really good restaurants within a block and half. Along with some bakeries, coffee shops and mini markets. Made it very convenient! Place was very clean and comfortable.

This place is very cozy, and the owner is very responsive and friendly. Location is ideal for walkability to many attractions and restaurants.
