Plain vacation rentals

We have family in the same area. This year we had a lot of people join us at the homestead and we rented this place to free up some room. This place was perfect for us and also allowed for more kitchen space since we had so much Thanksgiving food. We will definitely keep this in mind for future. Great, private and very peaceful surroundings.

As we transitioned from highway to local street to the narrow road getting to the cabin, we could feel all the calm nature taking over. This getaway spot is the perfect balance between minimalism and essential needs. There's running water, electricity, heat, AC (which we definitely needed on a 90 degree day!), etc., but no excess of anything. It's a proper getaway without the challenges of being truly off grid and the view is amazing. My wife and I ate our breakfasts outside, so we could listen to the river and birds chirping. It's also just under 30 minutes to Leavenworth, which is a must-see town, so don't miss it. Everything we needed to know was in the first message from Steve, but he also reached out letting us know we could check in early. We had an issue with the breaker for the L2 charger tripping (wasn't a problem because we just charged at Safeway) that we mentioned after checking out and Steve promptly responded and let us know he replaced it! Great host and great cabin!

The lodge is perfect! We loved everything about our stay. checkin was easy. Communication was clear. The lodge is even nicer than the photos. Everything is spotless, attractive and designed for the comfort of guests. We would absolutely stay again.

Very hospitable couple (and adorable fluffy dog!), what stood out to me is how they greeted us as soon as we were inside and gave a tour and helpful tips, including how to open the nano window. She has a great taste for scents, all the soaps and fragrances and lotions smelled amazing! She also left a few snacks and drinks, enough to make a delicious charcuterie board with the complimentary wine. This is the best air bnb experience we’ve had, extremely clean, comfortable, safe, and absolutely gorgeous. Very close to Leavenworth as well. We’re already planning on bringing family here to stay here as well. 10/10 recommend!

Absolutely STUNNING from the moment you arrive. The home with the wreath lite up - WOW. Once you open your car door you can hear water from the adjacent creek running into the river (time of year may change this). Following the very well outlined instructions you enter the pristine home and your mouth drops open - the decor, the views, the attention to detail - A+++. Heated floors in the entrance and mater bath. The river views!!!! Towels on each bed. So welcoming you do not want to leave. The views could not be better from the home, the deck, the hot tub and the fire pit. The hot tub was so refreshing and the beds were so comfy that all of us including two teens slept in each day. This home is more remote which is outstanding for peace and quiet; bring some yummy treats (town is also not that far if need be). Also, the river bottom is a little bit of a hike - not that friendly for young ones or people needing assistance, but the house view is exceptional. Book now-I am!!!!

We had a lovely stay! Cozy but not crowded with all 4 of our young kids. Not fancy but had everything we needed and was very comfortable. Everything was exactly as listed and the hosts were friendly and communicative. There were more board games than we had time to play and plenty of great books, toys, and movies. We enjoyed the space and loved being able to walk to the nearby winery and Plain Hardware! We were all sad to leave and would definitely stay here again.

I wanted to bring my family here to Leavenworth one last time before we move out of WA. We have been coming to Leavenworth once every year for 11 years. This was a fantastic “last hoorah”, and it was nothing short of an inspiration to see what an amazing job Beverly has done with the cabin, which inspires us to return one day. Beverly was very accommodating, and responsive to questions. We accidentally left behind a few items which she quickly gathered for us to come back and pick up. The cabin was pristine, and well put together. Items from dishes to soap were all high quality. Downtown Leavenworth is about 20 min away. Trees surround the property which provide ample privacy. I’d rate 10 stars if I could. Thanks for having us. We will definitely be back.
