The fully separate home is located on our property offering a great space for a couple or a couple with small children. We are located 10 minutes from the East Gate entrance to Algonquin Provincial Park that offers interpretive trails, museums and vast lakes and rivers for day or overnight canoeing trips. Algonquin Parks has much to offer and would encourage you to visit their website. The town of Whitney is about five minutes from our home. Amenities offered; restaurants, gas stations, Pharmacy, post office, grocery store, beer/liquor store, outfitters for canoe rentals and gift store. A beautiful sandy beach and children's playground are located in town.

Escape to a rustic log cabin on a private acreage in the Algonquin Highlands. The cabin has electricity (limited to 38 amps), linen, a kitchenette and water cooler (no running water inside). Outside is the Aussie outhouse. Next to that is an outdoor warm shower with chiminea fireplace in the shower! There is a new Weber BBQ and a large fire pit. The horses live close by! Their corral is next door. There are hiking trails on our 12 acres and many tourist attractions nearby.
