Look out the window and enjoy the beautiful surroundings and nature this area of the Dordogne has to offer. Keep an eye out for deer, owls, red squirrels and many more. We are directly opposite the river beach of Saint Aulaye and on the edge of this historic old village. Wander up the hill to the boulangerie, shops and weekly market. Our mill is on the outskirts of the village of Champagne et Fontaine, in the Southwest of France. The Moulin La Vergne is a newly renovated 18th century water mill located on the river Lizonne. The room is a private flat with all essential amenities and a homely feel, situated directly over the historical water run which flows through the building. Our location is quiet and rural, offering a peaceful and tranquil opportunity to recharge batteries and unwind.
