Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Pike County

It's a great place to stay, relax & ride. Beds were very comfortable, washer/drier/stove easy to use. The screened porch (mud room) was awesome too. Easy to change, sit & relax. Morgan was friendly and answered all calls quickly.

Had a great time. The trail entrance is right across the street.

We've stayed here several times over the last few months and everytime, it is just as cool as the first time we saw it. The host is amazing, addaptive, receptive, and very kind. Can't beat the view of the mountains!

We stayed at the rockhouse and it was great for riding the local orv trails. The house fit our trucks and trailers. It’s close to town and it had everything we needed to have a great stay

Don’t snooze on this place! We were visiting the hillbilly trail system/silica rock over Memorial Day weekend. Originally I was concerned it was too far from the trail system but it wasn’t at all about 10 minutes of road riding to hillbilly trail system entrance. This place far exceeded our expectations, very remote, and very private and very homey. The price was more than reasonable for what we got for the weekend. Family was very friendly, and helpful and we even enjoyed their 3 beautiful dogs greeting us in the morning and at night when we got back❤️ 10 out of 10 absolutely a great place to stay!

Great house! Clean and well stocked. Amy provided plenty of towels and paper products. The house was easy to find and close to trails. We would definitely stay again.

Jessica’s place was perfect for what we needed for our stay in Matewan. It is a very unique location and the convenience store right next to us was just an added bonus! The price was just right for us and the place was super clean and pristine! Very modern and roomy for a family of 5. We would definitely stay here next time!

Where do I start! Collins Cabins welcomed us and literally made us feel at home! Very clean cabin with everything you need! Peaceful and beautiful setting! If you’re coming to ride then this is the place to book. Trail access very close! Can’t thank you enough for a great weekend!

Was a beautiful scenery outside and inside had everything you need to survive and live Kevin was very respectful and nice and was on top at any needs will definitely want to come back again.

Will stay there again. This was our first time in the town and staying at her place. Very clean peaceful and safe location for our vechicle and side by side. Beds were supper comfy and room nicely decorated. Felt right at home. Communication was fast and easy.

Not only was the cabin PERFECT so were the hosts. They were so helpful for any local recommendations but also through the really bad weather. They accommodated us with directions, tour guides, restaurants and more! They were the sweetest folks and we will definitely return to their cabins for sure! 100 out of 10 recommendations!

Great value and very friendly owners...on a pretty creek and firewood provided. Right next to the trails however it is on a main road. The back is very private.

I wish there was more than 5 ⭐️ to give.. we rented Baby Bear and Papa Bear cabins and they were WONDERFUL!!!! The shared fireplace/pavilion was better than described. We spent so much time there that we cancelled dinner reservations just to spend more time with family at the resort! Will 100% be back. And I didn’t mention how responsive the host was, answering questions about fishing and ATV rentals. Great host, great property and great time!!

If you're looking to enjoy nature and disconnect, this is the place! So close to the Breaks interstate Park (5 minutes?), which is filled with great hiking. And the cabin is perfect for family fun - ping pong tournaments and Ms. PacMan! - plus a hot tub for post hike relaxing. This part of VA is very remote so there are not a ton of restaurants nearby so come prepared! That said, the kitchen is stocked with everything you could need!

10/10 would stay here again. Karrie was SO accommodating and nice! The place was just what we needed for my birthday riding trip! We will definitely be back.

Nice place to stay off the beating path. Little tight to turn truck and trailer around but manageable with lookout help.

We had an amazing stay at this tiny home! It was the perfect blend of cozy and modern, with everything we needed thoughtfully packed into a small space. The pool and hot tub were major highlights—great for relaxing after a day of exploring. Super clean, peaceful, and private. The hosts were responsive and made us feel right at home. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a unique and relaxing getaway!
