Cottage sits right alongside of the West River of Pictou and has a heated swimming pool. Very quiet and private. Couples only. Free use of the onsite canoe or kayaks. There is a private firepit onsite which can be used when the government burn restrictions permit, and a private deck with a bbq. There is also an above ground heated pool shared with the owners. Great place to unwind. Separate entrance, bathroom and deck. We are two women living on 85 acres in rural Nova Scotia. We have four horses, chickens, two dogs and two cats. Valerie’s place was exactly as pictured. Beds were so comfy we checked to see what mattress she had lol! Lots of space for the 9 of us with 2 dogs and the kitchen had everything you could ever need. A few us were trying to find available times in the summer to come back! Pool wasn’t open yet but we did to enjoy the hottub. That sunroom…all I wanted was a big comfy chair in there and never have to leave. Great house for a fun family weekend!

Airbnb was beautiful exactly as shown in pictures and had the nicest view! It did get a little warm as I don’t believe there is a heat pump or AC unless we missed it but would recommend, great spot.

We had a great stay, the deck is such a great space to enjoy at the end of a day. Kitchen while still under some renovation didn’t take from experience. Great space to cook as a family! Wish we could have stayed longer.

This was our second visit to this property. We love the location-quiet and peaceful yet only 10 or so minutes to town for restaurants and shopping. The place is so clean and inviting. The beds are comfy and the linens are white and so clean. We didn’t get to make use of the downstairs this time yet it has so much to offer especially for a large group. There is no doubt that we will be back.

This home is smart and easy to access. The view is stunning. The home is pristine and very secure. Information on the home and the local restaurants is given as well. The home was well stocked with toiletries, cleaning supplies, and even food items that one may forget to pick up from the market. Please be sure to sit in the living area or the deck to view the sunset and/or see the caribou, birds, and squirrels that make the location appear like what we read in books. This location may even be a great place for family/group vacation. Please if you need a nice place with plenty of space, reach out to Mark. You will not be disappointed.

This rental was perfect. We felt very comfortable in this apartment. It was very clean and had everything you need for an enjoyable holiday. Some much nicer than a hotel room. There was always an outside light on for us at night which I really liked.

Great spot to stay. In town for work- good location, close to the hospital and town. Not the most sound proof from the family/kids upstairs but it’s great other than that! Would recommend if you’re looking for a cozy spot to stay.
